• Circ desk -- desk where you check out materials
• Check out -- use library card to prepare items so you

9. LIBRARY TOUR
• The library is divided into three areas.
• First floor – public services, circulation/
reference desks, reference collection,
computer labs, current periodicals,
microforms, newspapers & new books
room.
• In general, this is a high-traffic area and
not conducive to concentrated study.
10. FIRST FLOOR
•Materials check out and returns
•Course Holds/OhioLINK/ Interlibrary loans
•Audiovisual materials
Your ID is needed to borrow
materials.
15. As an ONU student, you receive $30.00 in
free printing each academic year.
Each time you log into the university
network and print, money is deducted.
If you use more than $30.00, the number
will simply go to the negative and the
amount will be charged to your university
account by the end of the year.

the library with your user name and password
• You may save documents to a jump drive or the H:
drive

carrels.
• The second floor is meant for
studying and periodicals use.

• This is probably the quietest part of
the library.
