  • 3. DON'T INCLUDE LINKS IN POST 2 When adding external link, put it in the comment. LinkedIn down-ranks posts that have external links in the body.
  • 4. PUBLISH NATIVE VIDEOS 3 Upload videos directly to LinkedIn. Similar to step 2, LinkedIn heavily favors native video over those hosted on other sites.
  • 5. ENGAGE WITH OTHERS 4 Like, comment and nurture meaningful discussions on other people's posts. Doing so exposes you to those outside of your network & the original poster will likely reciprocate by engaging with your content.
  • 6. STAY CONSISTENT 5 Posting 20 times/month will reach 60% of your unique audience. Aim for 1-2 quality posts/day. Monday-Friday Mornings
  • 7. MAKE "FOLLOW" YOUR DEFAULT 6 Change your profile CTA button to "FOLLOW" People are more likely to hit follow than connect after engaging with your content.
  • 8. USE ADVANCED SEARCH 7 For specific customer research, utilize advanced filters. Get hyper-focused demographic reach by using parameters unique to your industry/location/interests.
