Sensex closed up 1.23%@19,906.41 pts; Nifty gained 1.22%@6,024.05 pts.
European market majors CAC, DAX & FTSE were up from 0.15% -0.70 %.
NASDAQ was up by 0.12 % & Dow Jones Industrial Avg. was up by 0.13 %.
Sensex gained 242.77pts@19,906.41; Nifty gained 72.75pts@6,024.05. Sensex & Nifty
rose more than 1 % on Monday to two-year highs after a slower-than-expected rise in
inflation 7.14%, Dec. inflation data came in at one-year low, cemented hopes the RBI will
cut interest rates later this month, boosting banks and property shares such as DLF.
