Didache
- John 1:1-4
- This message seeks to introduce the Book of John, but in order to understand the Book, we
need to dwell on the author that’s why we are focusing on the person of John the Apostle.
- The name John is translated from the Hebrew name Yohanan which means, the Loved one of
God. The Greek transliteration of the name John is Ioannes.
- John was the disciple whom the Lord loved (John 13:21-30, John 19:26-27, John 21:20-23].
- Apostle John was a forerunner [The focus of this message also].
- We have three different personalities named John in the New Testament Church as recorded
in the New Testament Canon:
▪ John the Baptist/Baptizer – he was employed by the Lord as His forerunner and his
ministry is recorded in Matthew 3, Mark 1, Luke 3, John 1 and other precepts of
Scripture. This John was a Levite, hair apparent to the office of a Priest/Kohen in
Israel since his father was a priest. His parents were Zacharias and Elizabeth [Luke
1:15].
▪ John the Apostle – He was fathered by Zebedee/Zebedaios, mothered by Salome
and his brother was Apostle James. He is the executive secretary of the Lord who
authored the Book of John which is our subject.
▪ John Mark (the secretary/scribe) – He is the rightful author of the Book of Mark
and was also instrumental in writing some of Apostle Paul’s epistles most of which
are not part of the New Testament Canon (not part of the Biblia/Bible). He was also
a servant of the Church as recorded in 2 Timothy 4:8-11, a helper in Apostle Paulos’
Ministry/Assignment. John Mark was also Apostle Barnabas’ nephew since Mary
(his mother) was Barnabas’ sister (Acts 15:37, Colossians 4:10). This Mary was the
Lord’s disciple in the days of His flesh but then, John Mark was still young, a
teenager particurlarly. Barnabas was a Levite according to the flesh [Acts 4:36].
The case of John Mark
- The name Mark gained precedence amongst the Early Church believers as a bid to avoid
confusion in identification since there was Apostle John, John the Baptist and John whose
surname was Mark in the same Church.
- Mark was his father’s name, John was his first name.
- Principally, the Book of Mark could have been called the Book of John, but the confusion
would be prevalent.
- By using the same precedence, why didn’t they call this Book of John, the Book of Zebedee or
the Book of Boanerges
Concluding the Boanerges scenario and Introducing the Book of John
- The Boanerges scenario focuses on the writer, John the Apostle.
- (Mark 3:14-19) – The twelve Apostles of them all, only Simon was renamed Petros/Peter and
the duo (James and John) were given one name, Boanerges which means, sons of thunder.
- The Preacher of the Gospel is a forerunner.
- A forerunner is the one who goes ahead to introduce, he ushers in a Dispensation, (in Shona,
mukuri wenzira).
- John the Baptist was the forerunner of the Lamb, his assignment was to introduce Jesus to
Israel as the sacrificial Lamb. It was mandatory that he doesn’t live past the cross, his death in
Matthew 14 happened timeously because his assignment ended with his introductory
proclamations. If John was to live after Calvary, his message would be false because he would
be declaring, ‘He is coming (to die)’ when in essence, He would have already came and did His
work.
- The message of John the Baptist was, ‘Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the
world.’ (John 1:26-36). How would the Lord take away the sin of the world? By dying on the
cross because sin is purged solemnly and exclusively by blood (Hebrews 9:21-22), everyone in
sin should never think that purification is by anything but blood, the Holy blood of Jesus the
Lamb.
- Jesus has three Segments/Dispensations of His life/tenure on earth which are:
▪ The Son of man Dispensation – the thirty-three years of His days in the flesh.
▪ The Son of God Dispensation – His days in the New Testament Church as the Savior.
▪ The Judge Dispensation – at the end of the world.
- When we have spiritual grown up a little, the Holy Spirit by the Apostle (our Mother) has
promised to give a detailed outline of how the Lord is going to come back, clearly showing that,
the way He will be perceived by the unbelieving world (as the Judge) will be completely and
asymmetrically different from the way He will be perceived by His Church (as the
Bridegroom/Husband).
- The promise of [1 John 3:2-3] which promise says, we know not how the Lord will appear, is
only, solemnly, exclusively and unquestionably applicable to the Church not to the enemies of
our Lord, the sons of disobedience.
- The Lord was in the form of a human being in His first manifestation as the son of man but
now, we no longer know Him after the flesh, we who are in the New Testament Church (2
Corinthians 5:16).
- The flesh is weak
- In the New Testament, you can’t address Jesus as the son of man but rather, as the Son of
God, the son of man is no more. The word son of man means Sacrifice, the word Son of God
means Savior, as put in (Romans 1:1-4) – the Lord was declared to be the Son of God by the
resurrection from the dead.
- According to this teaching:
- Part of the noticeable diapers (mistakes) of the early Ministers and saints in the Bible are,
Peter and John the Apostles in Acts 4:10 addressed the Lord as Jesus Christ of Nazareth, which
is a mistake, a mishit because the moment they addressed Him as ‘of Nazareth’, they were
beginning to reorganize and know Him after the flesh. Secondly, the Apostles and saints’ prayer
recorded in Acts 4:23-31 has a mistake because they also called Jesus Christ, ‘Holy child’ which
is wrong, since, according to Isaiah 9:6, a child (son of man) is born whilst a Son/Anointed One
(Son of God) is given so the correct way of Addressing the Lord was ‘Holy Son’.
- The relevance of this analogue is to know who John the Baptist was forerunning for in a bid to
understand who John the Apostle is forerunning for because the Master these two are
respectively a forerunner for is different. John the Baptist is a forerunner for the Lamb yet
Apostle John is a forerunner for the Judge.
- After resurrection [when He was declared to be the Son of God], Jesus Christ could suddenly
be amongst the Apostles even thou the door was shut (John 20:17-20), he could not do this in
His days as the son of man, the Lord did this to make His disciple aware that the Lord was
already glorified as the Savior, the Son of God, the Lord wanted to take away what they knew
about Him that is, knowing Him after the flesh.
- The Lord was weak in the flesh (Romans 8:3-4, Matthew 26:40-41).
- The Lord was weak in the flesh so that the men of Israel and Gentiles could handle Him and
crucify Him as a Lamb. A sacrificial lamb should be weak to a certain extent so that it can be
handled and killed.
- When John the Baptist baptized our Lord in Jordan. Jordan:
- The Lord humbled and reduced Himself to be weak. When John (the last prophet of the Old
Testament – Matthew 11:13] baptized the Lord in Jordan, he was allegorically representing the
whole order of the Old Testament whose sole duty was to crucify the Lord. The Baptism of the
Lord represents His death (Matthew 20:22, Luke 12:49-50] so when John was able to handle
Him in baptism, it was a sign that Israel was going to be able to handle and kill Jesus.
- When John the Baptist was hesitant to baptize Jesus, this was to show how Israel was going to
fail when it comes to declaring Jesus a blameless Lamb so that He could die, to this effect, God
employed Pontius Pilate to declare the Lord blameless when he said, ‘I find no fault in this
man’ [Luke 23:4].
- (2 Corinthians 13:4), the Lord was crucified trough weakness, this weakness is called son of
man, this weaknesses is being in the human flesh.
- When the Lord was calling Himself son of man, he was strengthening the Levitical priesthood’s
hands to be able to handle Him unto His death by which we are saved.
- John the Baptist was the Lamb’s forerunner for about 16 years, in which years, the Lord was
still inactive, being raised in the custom, traditions and laws of Israel [Galatians 4:4]. When the
Lord wanted to begin His ministry, he had to meet the forerunner. This meeting commenced at
river Jordan. This meeting was there to decommission the forerunner and when John wasn’t
decommissioned [because he kept on baptizing even when he had introduced the Lamb – John
3:23-24], he was later completely decommissioned by death (Matthew 14:1-12).
- A forerunner goes ahead, so John the Revelator is going ahead of the Lord in which respect?
He is ushering in which Dispensation?
- John the Revelator and every Preacher is the forerunner of the Judge.
- So, what does this mean? This means, upon the Lord’s third coming [Sermon Referral: Is He
Coming Like A Thief by Apostle T.F Chiwenga – Available on Soundcloud], His advent as the
Judge, all preaching is going to stop and every preacher decommissioned.
- In the ministry of the Lord, John the Baptist was ahead of the Lord as a forerunner, but
Apostle John was behind the Lord in this era of the son of man. If you are behind a person, you
have better chances of observing whatever they will be doing, this explains why Apostle John
was able to record the ministry of John the Baptizer starting from John 1:6-8.
- John the Apostle understood the assignment of John the Baptist because of his own
assignment not because of the age difference even thou he was younger by age.
- The whole Chapter 1 of the Book of John is on John the Baptist.
- John the Baptist’s ministry is an indispensable cog, a component of John the Apostle’s
ministry.
- All preaching is going to one day end, the day – Judgement Day (Ecclesiastes 12:1-5), desire
shall fail. To understand that verses 1 to 5 are referring to judgement, we consider the
conclusion of the matter – Ecclesiastes 12:13-15, it is Judgement Day. The grinders in the
Scripture refer to preachers for Jesus once said, two women will be grinding, one will be taken
and the other left (Matthew 24:41).
- The Lord also taught about Judgement when He said, he won’t be working at night (John 9:4),
what the night represents is explained well by Apostle Peter in 2 Peter 3:10, the night is
Judgment. So not working at night means everything will stop upon the commencement of
Judgement Day. The grinders/preachers will stop because the earth and all that is, will be
burned up. Ask the 10 Virgins when the Bridegroom comes? Matthew 25:1-13, at midnight.
- Task: Who is the forerunner of the Son of God Dispensation?
- The preacher is not the forerunner because if it were so, preaching could have ended when
the preacher came.
- We know the names the Lord used in the first and second dispensations, what is the name
that He will be using for the Judgement Dispensation?
- Revelation 19 introduces the Judge and Judgement occurs in Revelation 20.
- Revelation 19:11 puts it out clearly that the Judge is coming to make war, this means, He
won’t be saving people hence the Judge cannot use the name Jesus Christ because this name
means Anointed Savior which is contextually put as Son of God.
- At His coming, there is no pity, Grace or favor, the Lord is coming as a warrior.
- In (Revelation 19:12), no one knows the name the Judge will be identified with, if anyone
claims to know it, that claim will be suggesting that, that person is Christ, making him a false
christ, an anti-christ. Claiming to know it, you will be like a certain idiotic man in Zimbabwe who
went on national radio claiming to be God:
- The prerequisites of knowing the Judge’s name are being Faithful and True (Revelation 19:11),
every jack and jill is disqualified.
- The coming of the Lord for Judgement is not His second coming into the earth, it is His third
coming into the earth and His second coming to the Ekklesia/Church, these three dispensations
help clarify this Doctrinal position.
- Each time a Dispensation ends, the Lord goes back to the Father, he came as a Lamb, went
back to the Father and came back as Messias, He will come back as the Judge.
- The name Word of God in Revelation 19:13 is not the name of the Judge but the identity of
the Judge to show us that this Judge is still Jesus Christ.
- Demons will be invited to feast on the Lord’s kill on Judgement Day (Revelation 19:17-18).
- One of the other reasons why we are not allowed to know the Judge’s name is, this availing is
not meant for the Church, He is not coming to judge the Church but the reprobates.
- [It is not the first time the Lord refuses to give His name]
- John the Apostle is a specimen of a preacher of the Gospel.
- The forerunner-ship of John the Baptist must end first before Apostle John and other able
ministers of the New Testament become forerunners for the Judge.
- In essence, the Old Testament was a forerunner for the son of man era whereas the New
Testament Era is a forerunner for the Judge Dispensation.
- After He was resurrected, the Lord was no longer physical but Spiritual, laws of physics and
nature could not hold and limit Him. He was the Master of the Universe. His Spirituality is not
diminished even thou when He resurrected, He still had the human body – these are certain
truths which are not the subject of the day.
Why did the Lord call the two, Boanerges – sons of thunder?
- Thunder and Lightning are brothers.
- The Lord has used both thunder and lightning as metaphors referring to Himself.
- (Matthew 13:36-41, Matthew 25:31-end, Jude 1:16, Romans 1:18-end, 2 Thessalonians 1:12-
end, Revelation 20:11-15 Revelation 21:8-10) – the Lord is coming with vengeance on
Judgement Day.
- The Judge is not coming to save but to meet justice on the children of disobedience.
- (Matthew 24:23-26) – the Lord identifying Himself as Lightning.
- The Lord described Himself as Lightning because of these three properties:
1. Speed – the Lord is going to come impromptu. Since no one knows when the
lightning will strike, in like manner, no one knows when the Lord will come!
- Makandiwa has been running amok blabbering that Jesus is about to come back.
- Makandiwa plagiarizes some of his heresies from Chris Oyakhilome but some of his sources of
heresy (uncommon sources) were exposed on the following Moment of Laughter:
- Claiming to predict when the Lord will come is as stupid as attempting to predict where
lightning will strike.
- The other property of lightning is its surprising effect.
2. The coldness of lightning – coldness is a metaphor referring to a lack of
relatibility. It is violent beyond measure. When lightning come, it has no friend. We
befriended rain by harvesting it, but you cannot harvest lightning.
3. Lightning is very destructive – it is an instrument of terror. It can be up to five
trillion volts in a single bolt.
- No metal under the sun can survive the temperatures of lightning. One of the strongest metals
on earth, diamond needs about 4027 degrees celsius to melt whereas a lightning has a
temperature of about 27 760 degrees celsius.
- (Exodus 19:16-19 juxtaposed with Hebrews 12:18-21), when God brought lightnings on
Mount Sinai, it was terror such that no one could sing ‘l need your touch once again,’
terrible terror such that even the Testator Moses was afraid. Mount Sinai:
- (Exodus 9:23-28), great thunderings and hail befall Egypt as Moses stretch his stuff and
Pharaoh besieged Moses for the terror stops promising to let Israel go. Ancient Egypt:
- Lightning is a picture of Judgement and it is used interchangeably in the Old Testament Canon
with thunderings.
- Our question is, why didn’t the Lord call James and John, sons of lightning? – It is because,
thunder announces lightning for it thunders first then there is lightning, implying that Thunder
sends these sons to preach about lightning. They could not be sent by Lightning because He
wasn’t launched yet.
- The New Testament is a Thunder Dispensation.
- Sons of Thunder are thunder themselves inasmuch as the brood of vipers are vipers
themselves. To illustrate this, in John 9:5, the Lord said He is the Light of the world yet in
Matthew 5:14, the disciples are said to be the light of the world, so this shows that the son of
the Light is a light.
- It’s not robbery nor a heresy to say, l am a light so long l know that l am a lesser light (1
Corinthians 15:40-41, Genesis 1:14), Jesus Christ is the greater Light and us, His sons are the
lesser lights.
- (John 1:6-8), John the Baptist was not that Light, (John 5:31-35) describes John the Baptist to
be a burning and a shining light. [Capitalization of Light and light is a necessary difference], John
is also described as a burning light. The burning aspect explains that John was a self-destructive
light, his message could not bring salvation, but it was a light pointing to the True Light. The
burning part can be likened to a candle:
- He could burn until the light was put off, he was not a continual and perpetual light.
- The warning of Thunder is to warn people of the oncoming Lightning, safety is in Jesus Christ,
this is the terror spoken of in (2 Corinthians 5:11).
- Lightning is coming, people need warning, Lightning cannot offer a warning since it comes
impromptu, the ministry of Thunder is the one which gives warning.
- Not only James and John are sons of Thunder, all Ministers of the Gospel are sons of Thunder,
even saints are also sons of Thunder.
- Thunder foreruns Lightning, Thunder announces Lightning, (Job 28:25-26), ‘lightning of
thunder’, means thunder which belongs to lightning.
- Thunder, the son of Thunder, thunder, warning the world for the oncoming Lightning:
- (John 12:46-48) who was speaking here? It is not the son of man! The son of man is a Lamb, a
Lamb does not save but a Lamb is an instrument for the Savior. It is the Savior/Son of God
speaking! The Lord said he came not to judge because he knew that he came as a Thunder not
as the Judge/Lightning. Then, the Judge office was vacant.
- Jesus became the Son of God because of the accomplishments of the son of man that is to die
and resurrect.
- (John 12:48 juxtaposed with Revelation 19:13), truly the Word of God is the Judge.
- What happened to the Word/Logos (John 1:1), it became flesh (John 1:14), what we learn
here is, the Word takes different forms in all these three Dispensations. In the son of man
Dispensation, it took the form of a servant, so the Word is going to Judge but it is going to take
a different form not yet known as yet.
- John 1:14 shows two Dispensations, as a son of man (by being flesh) then He becomes
Begotten that is to become the Son of God.
- The Word was made flesh for the first Dispensation to be enrolled, the same Word is going to
be made into something else [we were not allowed to know, Amen] for the third Dispensation
to be enrolled.
- The New Testament is the one which owns the Judgement Day, when the Lord comes to
Judge, He will be doing that for the New Testament Church, Judgement Day does not serve
God, but it offers a service to the New Testament Church, that’s why the New Testament
Church asked for its Judgement in Revelation 6:9-11, ‘How long, O Lord…’. [Amen, Amen,
Amen in Deacon Marimo’s voice]
- So, if a Believer fears the Lord, he cannot be threatened that Judgement is coming because
Judgement belongs to him.
- It is the duty of Thunder to warn the world that Lightning is coming.
- (Revelation 8:1-5, Revelation 16:17-18, Psalm 77:18), in these Scriptures, a thunder always
comes first before mention of lightning.
- Lightning belongs to God, the thunder belongs to the lightning.
- (Psalm 144:6, Psalm 18:14, Psalm 77:14, Psalm 135:7, Psalm 78:48), a lightning is only sent
for one purpose, to destroy.
- Preaching the Gospel is warning everyone, everywhere to repent and escape the wrath of
God.
- Preaching is not pleading with no one, either come to Jesus or face the music!
- (Acts 17:30-31), God is commanding all men everywhere to repent.
- The message of the Gospel is a thundering; it is preached with boldness and not after
pampering people. It’s not a seduction or an act of gimmicks to invite people to repentance:
- Sinners are commanded to repent, the pleading part of 2 Corinthians 5:11 is not the pleading
the world perceives.
- In (Acts 17:31), Apostle Paul refers to the Judge as ‘that man’, because he knew, the name
was not yet given. – Pastor Erengwi, “Paul … ”; Brother Nelson, ‘the Apostles could not even
miss small details’.
- When one’s heart is pricked unto Salvation, he begins to pressurize the Ministers for the
baptisms even thou he was a devotee of the zion shrine, dancing like a maniac …
… this pressure is because the call to repentance is a commandment as exemplified in the
salvation of the Ethiopian eunuch who pressurized Evangelist Philip to baptize him when they
saw the next opportunity that is a water reservoir (Acts 8:36-38).
- (2 Peter 3:10-14), Apostle Peter says, ‘looking for and hasting unto coming for the Day of
God’, to show that the Judgement Day serves the saints, the saints are joyously waiting for that
Day.
- The sun is scorching us, yet it is written that the sun itself is going to be burned (2 Peter 3:10)
YET …
- (1 Peter 4:17-18), the Righteous shall scarcely be saved, as already established, no one can
familiarize or be friends with Lightning, so the hope of the saints is to be friends with Thunder
who will shelter them from the Lightning.
- The world is puzzled at the level of boldness the Apostle uses to declare the Gospel; they call it
strange. This is the same boldness Apostle Barnabas and Apostle Paul exhibited in (Acts 13:46).
- If you are a son of Thunder, you should not be afraid. In declaring the Gospel know, as a son of
Thunder, sons of Thunder do not shiver before mere mortals.
- We are in the hands of the most terrifying God (Hebrews 10:25-39, Hebrews 2:2) –
- Even Apostle Peter and the rest of the Judean Apostles served the Lord with boldness.
- (John 5:21-27), the son of man was given power to execute Judgement yet principally, both
the son of man and the Son of God do not judge! The answer is in Acts 17:30-31, it is because of
the death of the son of man and subsequent resurrection that a Judge is qualified.
- We cannot see the Thunder, but a Lightning can be seen, because of this, only hearing the
word of Thunder will save those who are to be saved, we will have faith by hearing (Romans
10:17), loving the Lord even when we do not see Him (1 Peter 1:8) so we walk by faith not by
sight [2 Corinthians 5:7].
- God be thanked, some had expediency and ran amok with the name Boanerges, some even
started churches using this name, but the Lord loved us this much to grace us with this
teaching.
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner
appear? [1 Peter 4:18]

Didache - John 1:1-4 - This message seeks to introduce the Book of John, but in order to understand the Book, we need to dwell on the author that’s why we are focusing on the person of John the Apostle. - The name John is translated from the Hebrew name Yohanan which means, the Loved one of God. The Greek transliteration of the name John is Ioannes. - John was the disciple whom the Lord loved (John 13:21-30, John 19:26-27, John 21:20-23]. - Apostle John was a forerunner [The focus of this message also]. - We have three different personalities named John in the New Testament Church as recorded in the New Testament Canon: ▪ John the Baptist/Baptizer – he was employed by the Lord as His forerunner and his ministry is recorded in Matthew 3, Mark 1, Luke 3, John 1 and other precepts of Scripture. This John was a Levite, hair apparent to the office of a Priest/Kohen in Israel since his father was a priest. His parents were Zacharias and Elizabeth [Luke 1:15]. ▪ John the Apostle – He was fathered by Zebedee/Zebedaios, mothered by Salome and his brother was Apostle James. He is the executive secretary of the Lord who authored the Book of John which is our subject. ▪ John Mark (the secretary/scribe) – He is the rightful author of the Book of Mark and was also instrumental in writing some of Apostle Paul’s epistles most of which
  • 3. are not part of the New Testament Canon (not part of the Biblia/Bible). He was also a servant of the Church as recorded in 2 Timothy 4:8-11, a helper in Apostle Paulos’ Ministry/Assignment. John Mark was also Apostle Barnabas’ nephew since Mary (his mother) was Barnabas’ sister (Acts 15:37, Colossians 4:10). This Mary was the Lord’s disciple in the days of His flesh but then, John Mark was still young, a teenager particurlarly. Barnabas was a Levite according to the flesh [Acts 4:36]. The case of John Mark - The name Mark gained precedence amongst the Early Church believers as a bid to avoid confusion in identification since there was Apostle John, John the Baptist and John whose surname was Mark in the same Church. - Mark was his father’s name, John was his first name. - Principally, the Book of Mark could have been called the Book of John, but the confusion would be prevalent. - By using the same precedence, why didn’t they call this Book of John, the Book of Zebedee or the Book of Boanerges
  • 4. Concluding the Boanerges scenario and Introducing the Book of John - The Boanerges scenario focuses on the writer, John the Apostle. - (Mark 3:14-19) – The twelve Apostles of them all, only Simon was renamed Petros/Peter and the duo (James and John) were given one name, Boanerges which means, sons of thunder. - The Preacher of the Gospel is a forerunner. - A forerunner is the one who goes ahead to introduce, he ushers in a Dispensation, (in Shona, mukuri wenzira). - John the Baptist was the forerunner of the Lamb, his assignment was to introduce Jesus to Israel as the sacrificial Lamb. It was mandatory that he doesn’t live past the cross, his death in Matthew 14 happened timeously because his assignment ended with his introductory proclamations. If John was to live after Calvary, his message would be false because he would be declaring, ‘He is coming (to die)’ when in essence, He would have already came and did His work. - The message of John the Baptist was, ‘Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.’ (John 1:26-36). How would the Lord take away the sin of the world? By dying on the cross because sin is purged solemnly and exclusively by blood (Hebrews 9:21-22), everyone in sin should never think that purification is by anything but blood, the Holy blood of Jesus the Lamb.
  • 5. - Jesus has three Segments/Dispensations of His life/tenure on earth which are: ▪ The Son of man Dispensation – the thirty-three years of His days in the flesh. ▪ The Son of God Dispensation – His days in the New Testament Church as the Savior. ▪ The Judge Dispensation – at the end of the world. - When we have spiritual grown up a little, the Holy Spirit by the Apostle (our Mother) has promised to give a detailed outline of how the Lord is going to come back, clearly showing that, the way He will be perceived by the unbelieving world (as the Judge) will be completely and asymmetrically different from the way He will be perceived by His Church (as the Bridegroom/Husband). - The promise of [1 John 3:2-3] which promise says, we know not how the Lord will appear, is only, solemnly, exclusively and unquestionably applicable to the Church not to the enemies of our Lord, the sons of disobedience. - The Lord was in the form of a human being in His first manifestation as the son of man but now, we no longer know Him after the flesh, we who are in the New Testament Church (2 Corinthians 5:16).
  • 6. - The flesh is weak - In the New Testament, you can’t address Jesus as the son of man but rather, as the Son of God, the son of man is no more. The word son of man means Sacrifice, the word Son of God means Savior, as put in (Romans 1:1-4) – the Lord was declared to be the Son of God by the resurrection from the dead. - According to this teaching:
  • 7. - Part of the noticeable diapers (mistakes) of the early Ministers and saints in the Bible are, Peter and John the Apostles in Acts 4:10 addressed the Lord as Jesus Christ of Nazareth, which is a mistake, a mishit because the moment they addressed Him as ‘of Nazareth’, they were beginning to reorganize and know Him after the flesh. Secondly, the Apostles and saints’ prayer recorded in Acts 4:23-31 has a mistake because they also called Jesus Christ, ‘Holy child’ which is wrong, since, according to Isaiah 9:6, a child (son of man) is born whilst a Son/Anointed One (Son of God) is given so the correct way of Addressing the Lord was ‘Holy Son’. - The relevance of this analogue is to know who John the Baptist was forerunning for in a bid to understand who John the Apostle is forerunning for because the Master these two are respectively a forerunner for is different. John the Baptist is a forerunner for the Lamb yet Apostle John is a forerunner for the Judge. - After resurrection [when He was declared to be the Son of God], Jesus Christ could suddenly be amongst the Apostles even thou the door was shut (John 20:17-20), he could not do this in His days as the son of man, the Lord did this to make His disciple aware that the Lord was already glorified as the Savior, the Son of God, the Lord wanted to take away what they knew about Him that is, knowing Him after the flesh. - The Lord was weak in the flesh (Romans 8:3-4, Matthew 26:40-41). - The Lord was weak in the flesh so that the men of Israel and Gentiles could handle Him and crucify Him as a Lamb. A sacrificial lamb should be weak to a certain extent so that it can be handled and killed. - When John the Baptist baptized our Lord in Jordan. Jordan:
  • 8. - The Lord humbled and reduced Himself to be weak. When John (the last prophet of the Old Testament – Matthew 11:13] baptized the Lord in Jordan, he was allegorically representing the whole order of the Old Testament whose sole duty was to crucify the Lord. The Baptism of the Lord represents His death (Matthew 20:22, Luke 12:49-50] so when John was able to handle Him in baptism, it was a sign that Israel was going to be able to handle and kill Jesus. - When John the Baptist was hesitant to baptize Jesus, this was to show how Israel was going to fail when it comes to declaring Jesus a blameless Lamb so that He could die, to this effect, God employed Pontius Pilate to declare the Lord blameless when he said, ‘I find no fault in this man’ [Luke 23:4]. - (2 Corinthians 13:4), the Lord was crucified trough weakness, this weakness is called son of man, this weaknesses is being in the human flesh. - When the Lord was calling Himself son of man, he was strengthening the Levitical priesthood’s hands to be able to handle Him unto His death by which we are saved. - John the Baptist was the Lamb’s forerunner for about 16 years, in which years, the Lord was still inactive, being raised in the custom, traditions and laws of Israel [Galatians 4:4]. When the Lord wanted to begin His ministry, he had to meet the forerunner. This meeting commenced at river Jordan. This meeting was there to decommission the forerunner and when John wasn’t decommissioned [because he kept on baptizing even when he had introduced the Lamb – John 3:23-24], he was later completely decommissioned by death (Matthew 14:1-12). - A forerunner goes ahead, so John the Revelator is going ahead of the Lord in which respect? He is ushering in which Dispensation? - John the Revelator and every Preacher is the forerunner of the Judge. - So, what does this mean? This means, upon the Lord’s third coming [Sermon Referral: Is He Coming Like A Thief by Apostle T.F Chiwenga – Available on Soundcloud], His advent as the Judge, all preaching is going to stop and every preacher decommissioned. - In the ministry of the Lord, John the Baptist was ahead of the Lord as a forerunner, but Apostle John was behind the Lord in this era of the son of man. If you are behind a person, you have better chances of observing whatever they will be doing, this explains why Apostle John was able to record the ministry of John the Baptizer starting from John 1:6-8. - John the Apostle understood the assignment of John the Baptist because of his own assignment not because of the age difference even thou he was younger by age. - The whole Chapter 1 of the Book of John is on John the Baptist. - John the Baptist’s ministry is an indispensable cog, a component of John the Apostle’s ministry.
  • 9. - All preaching is going to one day end, the day – Judgement Day (Ecclesiastes 12:1-5), desire shall fail. To understand that verses 1 to 5 are referring to judgement, we consider the conclusion of the matter – Ecclesiastes 12:13-15, it is Judgement Day. The grinders in the Scripture refer to preachers for Jesus once said, two women will be grinding, one will be taken and the other left (Matthew 24:41). - The Lord also taught about Judgement when He said, he won’t be working at night (John 9:4), what the night represents is explained well by Apostle Peter in 2 Peter 3:10, the night is Judgment. So not working at night means everything will stop upon the commencement of Judgement Day. The grinders/preachers will stop because the earth and all that is, will be burned up. Ask the 10 Virgins when the Bridegroom comes? Matthew 25:1-13, at midnight. - Task: Who is the forerunner of the Son of God Dispensation? - The preacher is not the forerunner because if it were so, preaching could have ended when the preacher came. - We know the names the Lord used in the first and second dispensations, what is the name that He will be using for the Judgement Dispensation? - Revelation 19 introduces the Judge and Judgement occurs in Revelation 20. - Revelation 19:11 puts it out clearly that the Judge is coming to make war, this means, He won’t be saving people hence the Judge cannot use the name Jesus Christ because this name means Anointed Savior which is contextually put as Son of God. - At His coming, there is no pity, Grace or favor, the Lord is coming as a warrior.
  • 10. - In (Revelation 19:12), no one knows the name the Judge will be identified with, if anyone claims to know it, that claim will be suggesting that, that person is Christ, making him a false christ, an anti-christ. Claiming to know it, you will be like a certain idiotic man in Zimbabwe who went on national radio claiming to be God: - The prerequisites of knowing the Judge’s name are being Faithful and True (Revelation 19:11), every jack and jill is disqualified. - The coming of the Lord for Judgement is not His second coming into the earth, it is His third coming into the earth and His second coming to the Ekklesia/Church, these three dispensations help clarify this Doctrinal position.
  • 11. - Each time a Dispensation ends, the Lord goes back to the Father, he came as a Lamb, went back to the Father and came back as Messias, He will come back as the Judge. - The name Word of God in Revelation 19:13 is not the name of the Judge but the identity of the Judge to show us that this Judge is still Jesus Christ. - Demons will be invited to feast on the Lord’s kill on Judgement Day (Revelation 19:17-18). - One of the other reasons why we are not allowed to know the Judge’s name is, this availing is not meant for the Church, He is not coming to judge the Church but the reprobates. - [It is not the first time the Lord refuses to give His name] - John the Apostle is a specimen of a preacher of the Gospel. - The forerunner-ship of John the Baptist must end first before Apostle John and other able ministers of the New Testament become forerunners for the Judge. - In essence, the Old Testament was a forerunner for the son of man era whereas the New Testament Era is a forerunner for the Judge Dispensation. - After He was resurrected, the Lord was no longer physical but Spiritual, laws of physics and nature could not hold and limit Him. He was the Master of the Universe. His Spirituality is not diminished even thou when He resurrected, He still had the human body – these are certain truths which are not the subject of the day.
  • 12. Why did the Lord call the two, Boanerges – sons of thunder? - Thunder and Lightning are brothers. - The Lord has used both thunder and lightning as metaphors referring to Himself. - (Matthew 13:36-41, Matthew 25:31-end, Jude 1:16, Romans 1:18-end, 2 Thessalonians 1:12- end, Revelation 20:11-15 Revelation 21:8-10) – the Lord is coming with vengeance on Judgement Day. - The Judge is not coming to save but to meet justice on the children of disobedience. - (Matthew 24:23-26) – the Lord identifying Himself as Lightning. - The Lord described Himself as Lightning because of these three properties: 1. Speed – the Lord is going to come impromptu. Since no one knows when the lightning will strike, in like manner, no one knows when the Lord will come!
  • 13. - Makandiwa has been running amok blabbering that Jesus is about to come back. - Makandiwa plagiarizes some of his heresies from Chris Oyakhilome but some of his sources of heresy (uncommon sources) were exposed on the following Moment of Laughter:
  • 14. - Claiming to predict when the Lord will come is as stupid as attempting to predict where lightning will strike. - The other property of lightning is its surprising effect. 2. The coldness of lightning – coldness is a metaphor referring to a lack of relatibility. It is violent beyond measure. When lightning come, it has no friend. We befriended rain by harvesting it, but you cannot harvest lightning. 3. Lightning is very destructive – it is an instrument of terror. It can be up to five trillion volts in a single bolt. - No metal under the sun can survive the temperatures of lightning. One of the strongest metals on earth, diamond needs about 4027 degrees celsius to melt whereas a lightning has a temperature of about 27 760 degrees celsius. - (Exodus 19:16-19 juxtaposed with Hebrews 12:18-21), when God brought lightnings on Mount Sinai, it was terror such that no one could sing ‘l need your touch once again,’ terrible terror such that even the Testator Moses was afraid. Mount Sinai:
  • 15. - (Exodus 9:23-28), great thunderings and hail befall Egypt as Moses stretch his stuff and Pharaoh besieged Moses for the terror stops promising to let Israel go. Ancient Egypt: - Lightning is a picture of Judgement and it is used interchangeably in the Old Testament Canon with thunderings. - Our question is, why didn’t the Lord call James and John, sons of lightning? – It is because, thunder announces lightning for it thunders first then there is lightning, implying that Thunder sends these sons to preach about lightning. They could not be sent by Lightning because He wasn’t launched yet. - The New Testament is a Thunder Dispensation. - Sons of Thunder are thunder themselves inasmuch as the brood of vipers are vipers themselves. To illustrate this, in John 9:5, the Lord said He is the Light of the world yet in Matthew 5:14, the disciples are said to be the light of the world, so this shows that the son of the Light is a light. - It’s not robbery nor a heresy to say, l am a light so long l know that l am a lesser light (1 Corinthians 15:40-41, Genesis 1:14), Jesus Christ is the greater Light and us, His sons are the lesser lights.
  • 16. - (John 1:6-8), John the Baptist was not that Light, (John 5:31-35) describes John the Baptist to be a burning and a shining light. [Capitalization of Light and light is a necessary difference], John is also described as a burning light. The burning aspect explains that John was a self-destructive light, his message could not bring salvation, but it was a light pointing to the True Light. The burning part can be likened to a candle: - He could burn until the light was put off, he was not a continual and perpetual light. - The warning of Thunder is to warn people of the oncoming Lightning, safety is in Jesus Christ, this is the terror spoken of in (2 Corinthians 5:11). - Lightning is coming, people need warning, Lightning cannot offer a warning since it comes impromptu, the ministry of Thunder is the one which gives warning. - Not only James and John are sons of Thunder, all Ministers of the Gospel are sons of Thunder, even saints are also sons of Thunder. - Thunder foreruns Lightning, Thunder announces Lightning, (Job 28:25-26), ‘lightning of thunder’, means thunder which belongs to lightning.
  • 17. - Thunder, the son of Thunder, thunder, warning the world for the oncoming Lightning: - (John 12:46-48) who was speaking here? It is not the son of man! The son of man is a Lamb, a Lamb does not save but a Lamb is an instrument for the Savior. It is the Savior/Son of God speaking! The Lord said he came not to judge because he knew that he came as a Thunder not as the Judge/Lightning. Then, the Judge office was vacant. - Jesus became the Son of God because of the accomplishments of the son of man that is to die and resurrect. - (John 12:48 juxtaposed with Revelation 19:13), truly the Word of God is the Judge. - What happened to the Word/Logos (John 1:1), it became flesh (John 1:14), what we learn here is, the Word takes different forms in all these three Dispensations. In the son of man Dispensation, it took the form of a servant, so the Word is going to Judge but it is going to take a different form not yet known as yet. - John 1:14 shows two Dispensations, as a son of man (by being flesh) then He becomes Begotten that is to become the Son of God.
  • 18. - The Word was made flesh for the first Dispensation to be enrolled, the same Word is going to be made into something else [we were not allowed to know, Amen] for the third Dispensation to be enrolled. - The New Testament is the one which owns the Judgement Day, when the Lord comes to Judge, He will be doing that for the New Testament Church, Judgement Day does not serve God, but it offers a service to the New Testament Church, that’s why the New Testament Church asked for its Judgement in Revelation 6:9-11, ‘How long, O Lord…’. [Amen, Amen, Amen in Deacon Marimo’s voice] - So, if a Believer fears the Lord, he cannot be threatened that Judgement is coming because Judgement belongs to him. - It is the duty of Thunder to warn the world that Lightning is coming. - (Revelation 8:1-5, Revelation 16:17-18, Psalm 77:18), in these Scriptures, a thunder always comes first before mention of lightning. - Lightning belongs to God, the thunder belongs to the lightning. - (Psalm 144:6, Psalm 18:14, Psalm 77:14, Psalm 135:7, Psalm 78:48), a lightning is only sent for one purpose, to destroy. - Preaching the Gospel is warning everyone, everywhere to repent and escape the wrath of God.
  • 19. - Preaching is not pleading with no one, either come to Jesus or face the music! - (Acts 17:30-31), God is commanding all men everywhere to repent. - The message of the Gospel is a thundering; it is preached with boldness and not after pampering people. It’s not a seduction or an act of gimmicks to invite people to repentance: - Sinners are commanded to repent, the pleading part of 2 Corinthians 5:11 is not the pleading the world perceives. - In (Acts 17:31), Apostle Paul refers to the Judge as ‘that man’, because he knew, the name was not yet given. – Pastor Erengwi, “Paul … ”; Brother Nelson, ‘the Apostles could not even miss small details’.
  • 20. - When one’s heart is pricked unto Salvation, he begins to pressurize the Ministers for the baptisms even thou he was a devotee of the zion shrine, dancing like a maniac … … this pressure is because the call to repentance is a commandment as exemplified in the salvation of the Ethiopian eunuch who pressurized Evangelist Philip to baptize him when they saw the next opportunity that is a water reservoir (Acts 8:36-38). - (2 Peter 3:10-14), Apostle Peter says, ‘looking for and hasting unto coming for the Day of God’, to show that the Judgement Day serves the saints, the saints are joyously waiting for that Day.
  • 21. - The sun is scorching us, yet it is written that the sun itself is going to be burned (2 Peter 3:10) YET … - (1 Peter 4:17-18), the Righteous shall scarcely be saved, as already established, no one can familiarize or be friends with Lightning, so the hope of the saints is to be friends with Thunder who will shelter them from the Lightning.
  • 22. - The world is puzzled at the level of boldness the Apostle uses to declare the Gospel; they call it strange. This is the same boldness Apostle Barnabas and Apostle Paul exhibited in (Acts 13:46). - If you are a son of Thunder, you should not be afraid. In declaring the Gospel know, as a son of Thunder, sons of Thunder do not shiver before mere mortals. - We are in the hands of the most terrifying God (Hebrews 10:25-39, Hebrews 2:2) – - Even Apostle Peter and the rest of the Judean Apostles served the Lord with boldness. - (John 5:21-27), the son of man was given power to execute Judgement yet principally, both the son of man and the Son of God do not judge! The answer is in Acts 17:30-31, it is because of the death of the son of man and subsequent resurrection that a Judge is qualified. - We cannot see the Thunder, but a Lightning can be seen, because of this, only hearing the word of Thunder will save those who are to be saved, we will have faith by hearing (Romans 10:17), loving the Lord even when we do not see Him (1 Peter 1:8) so we walk by faith not by sight [2 Corinthians 5:7].
  • 23. - God be thanked, some had expediency and ran amok with the name Boanerges, some even started churches using this name, but the Lord loved us this much to grace us with this teaching.
