As an established franchise, what would your
advice be to up-and-coming entrepreneurs
aspiring to venture into the franchise industry?
Do your homework. Know the industry and what it
entails to become a franchisor. If your business is
successful, be sure to test it across state lines
where you have zero connections. That is what we
did at Hi-Five. We were a household name in the
Chicago Metro area and in 2011, tested our model
in both CA and AZ. Once those new locations were
successful, I knew it was time to expand and let
other entrepreneurs with the same passion
become part of the Hi-Five family through

Which is the best way to meet today’s and
tomorrow's challenges, with your vision of
achieving the joy of learning for the overall
development of children?
Be flexible and creative to fit your partner school
developing needs. For example, Nexplore adapted
fairly quick to offer virtual programs and set forth a
hybrid model that allowed us to offer both onsite
and virtual services with the ability to navigate with
ease between the two. As a result, in a matter of
months, we have tripled our virtual enrichment
bookings and have gained new clients.
Virtual and onsite learning has to be fun and
engaging! Here at Nexplore, we asked ourselves
how we can boost our virtual experience while
staying true to our mission of “Fostering the joy of
learning.” We have incorporated our four
