How We Work
We’re essentially specialised consultant-advisors, but we can also roll our sleeves up and
provide expert, hands-on manpower if necessary. We can ‘tell’ and we can ‘do’ - whatever you
need until you’re self-sufficient. In certain cases we’re also prepared to consider investing our
time and expertise in exchange for a stake-holding in your franchise company, but that’s some
way down the line at this point.
As consultants we charge for our time on a conventional day-rate basis. This would be
based on a consultancy proposal prepared before we start work which would set out an
agreed programme of work, objectives and outcomes, time frames and costs.
How to Proceed
Clearly your business, circumstances and motivation are unique, so we can’t be too generic
here. Irrespective of your circumstances however, we would broadly expect the process for
moving forward to look something like this:
1. Initial meeting: we discuss your requirements, current situation, business
model, track record, objectives, and so on.
2. Project proposal: we prepare a written
proposal setting out our understanding of
your business and requirements, our
recommended work schedule, time frames
and costs. We would provide our
credentials, client references and case
studies at this point if you require them.
3. Proposal accepted and consultancy
agreement signed.
4. Commencement of work: work commences
as per the project proposal.
5. Review meetings: we hold review meetings as
appropriate to monitor and appraise progress to
ensure the project is on track.
6. Preparation of reports: we prepare written reports as appropriate setting
out our findings and recommendations.
