The Raspberry Pi was created by the Raspberry Pi
Foundation, a UK-based charity organization that aims to
promote the study of computer science and related fields,
especially among young people.
The foundation was established in 2008, and its founders
include Eben Upton, Rob Mullins, Jack Lang, and Alan
Mycroft, who were all members of the University of
Cambridge's Computer Laboratory.
