Fall 2014 runway looks are cozier than ever, as oversize outerwear,
cocoon silhouettes, extreme turtlenecks and every iteration of
jacket trend stole the show. Whimsical + fur-trodden fairytale
fashions and animal motifs played nicely with the mysterious looks
of gothic subculture, and texture-blocking, embellishments and
patterns are elevated to a new level. Mod 60’s are back in full
force, while military-inspired tailored pieces, monochromatic
looks, pretty pastels and metallic gold + silver return to the runway.
