Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing this letter to recommend Tejbeer Chhabra. Tejbeer had worked as a summer intern
during the past summer and is currently working as a graduate research assistant for us this fall.
He has worked under my guidance and direction this entire time.
One of the things that really impressed me about Tejbeer is how dedicated and resourceful he is
in his role. Time and time again, as new requirements have come up and the scope of the project
has changed, Tejbeer has risen up to the challenge. Each time he received a new dataset, Tejbeer
would carefully analyze not just the attributes of the data, but also examine the way the data was
extracted to make sure the methodology made sense, and would bring up any problems and
concerns he had. Not only that, but whenever he encountered something that he didn’t
understand or which didn’t make sense, Tejbeer would take the initiative and do prior research
first so that when we did meet, he had a list of potential solutions already prepared.
As a result, Tejbeer has my highest recommendation. He has shown a level of passion,
motivation, and acumen that far exceeds what I have encountered in many of our students. If
