"We are an all-volunteer organization with
limited professional skills. Adobe's donated
technology is helping us present our story to
the public and to lenders in the format of a
much larger organization. With Adobe, we
are able to knock off a few of the "rough
edges" so that our story is front and center
instead of our technological limitations.
Thank you, Adobe!”

On-Premises Cloud
Advantages
Disadvantages
15. • If your organization is eligible for Microsoft
desktop products, you are eligible for MS Cloud
products
• One exception: Public Libraries are not currently
MS Cloud eligible although they continue to be
eligible for MS desktop products
The path to eligibility for MS Cloud subscriptions
• For Cloud products, organizations need a non-
profit tagged MS Tenant ID requested by
registering at the MS Nonprofit portal
• MS Tenant IDs, also known as onmicrosoft.com
Domains, are in the format:
name@organizationname.onmicrosoft.com
• Once the organization is validated as a public
charity eligible for MS Cloud, the nonprofit tag
allows access to MS Cloud products
16. TechSoup is a nonprofit, too (so we know what
that's like) -- and we can help you navigate to the
MS Cloud. Here’s how:
• Consult with one of our experts to create your
plan for moving to the MS Cloud
• If needed, we can direct you to services for
migration and other IT support needs.
• We can assist with registering your organization
on the MS Nonprofit portal
• Once you are eligible and have your nonprofit
tagged onmicrosoft.com Domain, we’ll get you
the subscriptions and licenses that are right for
your organization
• We can set you up for online self service so you
can add MS Cloud licenses and products yourself
24/7.
