● Traditional charitable organizations were unable to keep up with demand
during the beginning of the pandemic
● Individuals were forming online Mutual Aid communities to help meet this
demand
● No current infrastructure in place or software designed for peer-to-peer giving
and service
● Mutual Aid communities forced to use tools like Facebook, Google Docs, etc.
which caused disorganization, miscommunication, and for vital needs to slip
through the cracks
Solution
Golden Mutual Aid - the first ever purpose built software for mutual aid, where
individuals can list and respond to needs in their community, and mutual aid
organizers can facilitate the coordination and administration of their efforts, while
