This is the game packet handout used in the tutorial presentation. In this presentation, attendees will work through a mini-serious game design session that covers some of the design and development issues (terminology, levels/missions design, documentation and game development) faced by instructional designers and game designers. Attendees will be divided into game design teams and given a scenario attendees will work thru designing a serious game.

Your unit is to clear and set up antitank positions on the second floor
of this building.

Local friendly sources informed command that there is terrorist attack being
planned. The source has indicated that critical Intel regarding this attack is
being stored somewhere on the second floor. The source has provided
some photos. See attached photos.
This source described the first floor with a large kitchen, just off from the
doorway, an entry way that has stairs leading upstairs and a hallway with
access to a large dining/living area. Towards the rear of the first floor, there
are two armed guard near two rear rooms. Never been upstairs, thinks
there are three rooms facing the street and two across the hall.
The source also stated that he saw explosives placed near a support on
the first floor.
Once your unit has secured the building, your unit is to clear and set up antitank positions on the second floor of this building.
Based on the Intel, draw a layout of the buildings first and second floor. Review the building circled with the red circle and indicated where the doors
are located as well as room window.
