GSM GPS
13. Week 3
(12/7 – 17/7/2014)
Upgrading tracking system
Upgrading is rising the device level fromold components and code it with new
codes that are dealing with this new upgrade, and I will show you someof
those upgradeoperations.
1- Changing the old batteries the black and whit ones to the battery version
with blue color lie what we see in the last picture.
2- Choosing between those two blue batteries depending on the connector
sizethat we need it in the device tracker.
14. 3- Changing the Vehicle Track (MT-T201) to Vehicle Track ( MT-T502 )
during the installation in the Vehicles.
4- Last step is entering the codes to the device via SMS or online reaction.
15. Week 4
(19/7 – 24/7/2014)
Troubleshooting &Fixing
Troubleshooting means fixing, problem-solving, repairing, debugging, technical
supportand crisis management. In other hand if wehave a problem in the
device we fix that issueby providing the same conditions in the vehicle for the
device and start detecting the problem place.
16. Week 5
(2/8 – 7/8/2014)
Office work & Data entry for communications institutes ( Etisalat &Du )
Of course we will have an office
work beside our Electrical work,
including data entry, software
coding, SMS coding, customer
service, emailing andmonitoring
data capacity of each device
separately withprivate Witha
special deal betweenus and the
telecommunications companies
like Etisalat and Du.
Our GSMconnections depend on the companies that providethe
communication in our geographical area.
17. Week 6
(9/8 – 14/8/2014)

22. CONCLUSION:
My Training time was approximately as the company working time which it was from 9 am
– 2 pm ( Saturday to Thursday ).
At the end of 8 weeks of External training about various engineering related subjected, I
felt that I understood a lot of things and I improved my skills of using the different electrical
and electronic devices, and it gave me a good idea about some engineering concepts such
as the engineering ethics, which is important for us as engineer to have and to appear it
though out our dealing with other, and the industrial safety, which is important to be known
for all of us, doing works in safety way and take all possible persuasion to avoid and
dangerous action could be happened during accomplishing the work.
One important thing that I learned during these 8 weeks of training that I learned how to work
as groups and how to collect the information and to deal with the technical information, and
how it can be collected.
On the practical side, it was useful to remind me about the basics of electronic and electrical
measurements. Important ideas and expertise’s added to or knowledge by troubleshooting
the circuits in the real device.
The importance of this training report appears in a way that the kind of information that given
from the trainer during the training was very useful in the practical work.
