JOB PURPOSE
The job entails maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, customers and
suppliers by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel and controlling access into the
premises as well as ensuring that products and other assets are well protected and that proper
documentation is used on their movement.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Secures premises, products and personnel by patrolling property and inspecting
buildings, equipment and access points.
3. Supervise the enforcement of post operating instructions by contracted security
companies and ensure that they are being adhered to without fail, conducting
unannounced post inspections to ensure proper attendance, appearance, record keeping,
making sure that rules of conduct are being followed and ensure that corrective action is
done in a timely manner.
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities , informing violators of policy and
procedures, controlling access and restraining trespassers.
Completes reports by recording observations, information of interest, occurrences and
doing an initial interview of witnesses and obtaining statements.
Monitoring and reviewing CCTV recordings on a daily basis recording any irregularities
and forwarding them to the Security Manager for further action.
Monitor movement of goods for repairs and ensure that the goods are returned by having
a register of such movements.
