The document outlines the Talis Aspire strategy implemented at the University of Hull between 2012-2015 to develop a systematic framework for identifying, selecting, and providing learning resources in partnership with academic departments and other support services. A steering group was established to govern the strategy and sufficient resources were identified, including library staff and purchasing budgets. The goal was to have 75-85% of reading lists online within 3 years through comprehensive support and training provided to 496 registered tutors. Ongoing challenges included updating lists and transitioning to a central budget managed by the Library based on demand rather than entitlement. Monitoring expenditures and supporting curriculum changes were also discussed.
