The Program Facts:

• Created in 2007
• Four districts contribute
equally into the program
• Covers approximately
5,000 sq. miles
• Includes estimated
enrollment of 9,040 in
12 school districts
• Provides opportunities
for residents of all ages
to learn the importance
of water conservation

Why a coop program?

• Multiple rural groups targeted
• Similar aquifer conditions
• Cooperation among GCDs
establishes strong unified message
to maximize effectiveness
• Each district maintains individual
projects and programs to target
their needs
