• For many participants this was the first time when sustainability teachers,
experts or those interested in it came together in Aalto University.
• The different forms of pedagogical support in Aalto University were
profoundly presented: pedagogical mentoring and theoretical pedagogical
courses support each other and give tools for teachers to integrate
sustainability -as well as other interdisciplinary themes- in their courses.
• Teachers started planning how to do cooperation within sustainability
theme.
• A list of those skills, competencies and attitudes that could be enhanced
and supported by this group of participating experts was created. The
utilization of this will need coordination and systematic marketing in Aalto.
Annukka Jyrämä (Relations Manager, Research and Innovation Services,
annukka.jyrama@aalto.fi ) will be coordinating this.
