How do you describe your personal style?
Classic. But don’t misunderstood it with antique.
For me, classic is long lasting. At the same time, I’m
quite daring as well. I like simple cut clothing and
add a lot of accessories. Quality is what I look for, in
materials as well as cutting.
How do you find the balance between showing
your own style and mixing the current trend to
your day-to-day look?
To be honest, I am not influenced by the trend. I’m
very comfortable with my own style and personality.
It is very rare for me to follow the trend, not just in
fashion. I really enjoy my way of thinking and the way
I work. So I don’t have trouble in adapting to what’s
in and what’s not.
Can you share your daily beauty regime to
maintain your healthy skin?
I drink a lot of water each morning. Afterwards, I

Suropati. Enough sleep is also very important.
I like to put on makeup and have been using the
same type of fragrance as well as makeup for years. I
think as long as we are comfortable with our self, we
will have good self esteem which radiated and can be
seen by others.
Can you tell us what you are currently involved
with?
My father once said, “Be careful in what you ask,
because you might get it.” Since I was little, I wanted
to become a social worker. And that is what I am now.
I concentrate on helping young people who are trap
in using drugs. We have a rehabilitation center in
Cisarua called the Fan Campus. Life is a mystery and
I never thought I would be involved in this pathway,
because I don’t have any experience and knowledge

People might recognize her as one of Jakarta’s fashion frontiers. Butthis stylish
mother of three sets her heart on serving others. A rehabilitation center in
West Java is a result of her passion in social service.
in this field. But I learn a lot from this strange world. I
am very grateful to have the strength and motivation
to do this. Hopefully it will bring good outcome.
As a mother and wife, what is the most important
value in building your family?
I’m a person who is very out spoken. I believe
in spontaneous right action that is based on our
conscience. My father said, ”Listen to your heart.
Because your heart has a very accurate computing
system.” In time, I personally proved that conscience
always leans towards goodness. When you talk with
heart, it also will be received with heart. If I make
mistakes, I also would spontaneously apologize.
Do you also share the same value in Fan Campus?
When I grew older, I love to share my belief in
the importance of using the conscience to others.
It became the key words in our rehabilitation. Drug
free is not enough. It is very important to have a great
character, complete soul, and to be a well rounded
person. Plus, we have to understand that everybody
is uniquely designed. So it is natural that everyone
is different. People will change according to their
maturity.
What is the secret of having a great relationship?
Communication. For some people, it might be
irritating because I’m very outspoken. But for me by
communicating, no matter how big your mistake is, it
can be repaired.
One dream that you have not achieved?
I always have an obsession in my heart to embrace
young people. My dream is to build a school which
I haven’t managed to do. But at one side, I have Fan
Campus that to me is already equals as a school. At the
same time saving one life is something incredible.
