systems, high performance glass, new-age cladding, passive fire
protection, façade ventilation, non-combustible cladding, structural
bonding & sealing solutions, etc.
Special focus on fire safety in façades with latest information on the new
AS5113 code which is to be launched in the NCC 2019 version and also on
perimeter protection for curtain walls
KEY HIGHLIGHTS AT
THIS YEAR’S EDITION
CELEBRATE THE BLEND OF DESIGN AND
FUNCTIONABILITY OF BUILDING ENVELOPES
Australia is witnessing a spike in the construction work buoyed with a
whopping investment of $70 billion for new infrastructure development
and $5.3 billion for National Housing Infrastructure proposed. New
construction works in the country have seen a YoY growth of over 4.3
percent with a forecasted increase of 6.8 percent for the year 2018. An
array of projects planned and underway, in order to cater to the rising
housing demand with the increase in the migratory population, are all
set to help meet the forecast targets.
With innovative and high-performance façades being eyed for the
upcoming projects, the industry is certainly abuzz with opportunities
making it a dynamic, constantly evolving industry driven by a number
of trends including technology, materials and costs. Innovations
related to sustainable living solutions through façades, modular and 3D
technology in design and construction are on offer in the construction
segment helping raise the living quality for the inhabitants.
Zak World of Façades conference which is currently the world’s largest
conference series on façade design and engineering is being
launched at a time apt for the leaders and influencers of the Australian
construction industry value chain to come together to identify the
opportunities and pave the way forward.
The conference will be the 37th
global edition of the conference which
will continue to provide a platform to find newer dimensions,
innovations and unconventional solutions which can be imbibed to
help catapult the region’s construction strengths to newer heights.
Be a part of the conference dedicated to the building envelope
segment which encourages ideas and innovation to design safe and
sustainable façades and to help the participants gain industry insights
from the respective domain experts.
