2. Process • I dragged and dropped the videos
from my file area into the bin area
so I could import and use them in
Adobe Premiere.
• I also dragged and dropped the
audio into the bin area of Adobe
Premiere the same way I did the
videos. I listened to all the songs
before downloading via a YouTube
to MP3 converter. The music I have
chosen fits in with what my target
audience are interested in.
• My target audience are between the
ages of 16 and 34 and I am able to
connect with them easier
considering the majority of the are
in the same age group as me and are
usually interested in the same
alternative house/bass music which
are popular music genres for this
age group.
3. Process
• I dragged and dropped the videos
across into the time line. At this
point the video clip still had audio
which was rather irrelevant to the
video tutorial therefore it was
unlinked from the video clip and
deleted. This enabled me to put
music over the top of the video
which made it ore visually
appealing to the audience, but to
make sure that the music wasn’t
too distracting I adjusted the
volume making it quieter by going
into the effect controls and
altered the volume.

4. Process
• I altered the speed and duration of the video clips by right clicking,
going into the “Speed/Duration” option and adjusting the speed to
300%. I sped the video clips up to fit in the music bed to keep the
audiences attention and interest. This would be effective because
people generally have a short attention span and will want to watch a
shorter production. Although I sped the tutorials up it is still able to be
followed by the viewer
5. Process
I used the blade tool to cut the footage and remove any
unwanted clips. I cut the footage to make it fit the the
duration of the music (3:14). This is the typical length a
YouTube music video would last, therefore will keep the
audience watching.
6. Process
• I dragged and dropped my Frightful Faces logo into the bin area in Premiere so I
can import and insert it into the timeline. To make my intro more interesting I
decided to animate it by changing the position and scale of the logo.
7. Process
• I added graphics to the beginning and the end of the video to show
off the logo and a picture for the final look. I used the blade tool to
shorten and trim the edges to make it fit in with the music. I key
framed the audio so that when the video is ending the music is
fading, I did this by altering the volume of the music by going into
the effect controls and turning in from a 100% to 0% through a slow
fade out.
• I went into export, then media and saved the video file in the
format of YouTube720p this means it’s ready to be distributed to
video websites.
