3. ♠An output device is any device used to send data from a computer to another device or user.
♠Output devices relay the response from the computer in the form of a visual response.
Uses:
ΩTo visualize the images.
ΩTo give accurate output to the user.
ΩTo make work efficient and easy.
5. Display Device
A display device is an output device for
presentation of information in visual form.
It produce a graphical form of output
It produce Softcopy of output.
Types
1. Cathode Ray Tube{CRT}
2. Liquid Crystal Display{LCD}
3. Light Emitting Diode{LED}
4. Plasma Display Device
6. Cathode Ray Tube{CRT} Display
Ỽ The cathode ray tube {CRT} is a vacuum tube that contains one or more
electron guns and a phosphorescent screen, and is used to display image.
Liquid Crystal Display{LCD}
Ʊ Liquid crystal displays (LCD) consist of liquid crystals that are activated by
higher temperatures tend to random movements(agitate) of the molecules
and thus to make the liquid clear active matrix displays use transistors behind
each pixel to boost the image.

7. Light Emitting Diode{LED}Display
Plasma Display
₰ A light-emitting diode (LED) is a two-lead semiconductor light source. It
is a p–n junction diode, which emits light when activated. When a
suitable voltage is applied to the leads, electrons are able to recombine
with electron holes within the device, releasing energy in the form of
photons same time it produce images in display.
₰ The basic idea of a plasma display is to illuminate tiny, coloured
fluorescent lights to form an image. Each pixel is made up of three
fluorescent lights - a red light, a green light and a blue light.
9. Impact Printer
π Impact printer refers to a class of printers that work by banging a head or needle
against an ink ribbon to make a mark on the paper.
π When the print head touches the paper, the impact transfers a small amount of
ink from the ribbon to the paper.
Types
1. Dot Matrix Printer
⁕ A printer which uses a print head that moves in an up-and-down motion, on the
page and prints by impact, striking an ink-soaked cloth ribbon against the paper.
⁕ It is very popular in old time and used in organization such as offices, printing
press, universities, and so on.
DOT Matrix Printer
10. Non-Impact Printer
₴ A type of printer that does not operate by striking a head against
a ribbon.
₴ These printers do not touch the paper when creating an image.
₴ Non-Impact printers, used almost everywhere now, are faster
and quieter than impact printers because they have fewer
moving parts.
Types
1. Ink-jet printer
2. Laser printer

11. Ink-Jet Printer
♠ An ink-jet printer is any printer that places extremely
small droplets of ink onto paper to create an image.
♥ If you ever look at a piece of paper that has come out of an
inkjet printer.
♥ It’s used for creating a digital images.
Laser printer
♣ It makes a laser beam scan back and forth across a drum inside
the printer, building up a pattern of static electricity.
♣ The static electricity attracts onto the page a kind of powdered ink
called toner. Finally, as in a photocopier, a fuser unit bonds the tone
to the paper.
♣ Mainly, It is use for large printing .
♣ It is much more effective and efficient printer ever made.

12. Speaker
۞ A device containing a transducer that converts electrical signals (electric
current) into sound waves (acoustic energy) for the production of sound.
۞ A hardware device connected to a computer's sound card that outputs
sound generated by the computer.
