1. Question 1. Who did you
serve, and what did you
accomplished?
The non-profit Early Literacy Storytime
is an organization I served. As a
certified teacher I was a lead person, I
worked with first and second graders
during the Summer Enrichment
Program.
This was a seven week program that
met on Saturdays; we accomplished
integration of knowledge skills where
we compared and contrast the
adventures of characters in stories.
They will be able to identify who was
telling the stories at varies points in the
text.
The participants will be able to ask and
answer such questions as who, what
when, where, and how to demonstrate
understanding of key details of the text.
The participant will be able to use
operations and algebraic thinking,
numbers and operations in base 10 and
measurements and data.

What is your team’s plan for ongoing
relationship with the non-profit?
My team plan to continue to work with the
non-profit and extend services to more
participants.

What would your non-profit do if they won
part of the prize money?
If Early Literacy Storytime won part of the
prize money they would be able to
purchase more supplies to accommodate
more participants and to offer services
during the weekdays.
