I love finding ways to make things work. As a Chef, I reorganized kitchens and computerized processes to improve flow all the while feeding the creative aspect of the glamorous part of the job. I enjoy a "code dive" into something old and obscure and the challenges of learning new tech and frameworks to make something fresh and unique. In my fifteen years in information technology I have excelled at simple "help desk" positions where the focus was directly communicating with people, in scrums rivaling their sports namesakes for excitement and roughness and in the immersive quiet of solo projects because the puzzle of ~making things work~ was constant.
