5. A ReVITALIZED Brand Image
Our updated logo and the streamlined look from our rebranding efforts radiate new energy and display our renewed
commitment to helping families and our associates become successful.
By using our acronym, WFG, in place of our full name, the logo — and therefore the company — exudes a streamlined
and clear brand image. Additionally, our website and marketing materials have been updated to provide a sleek look
and feel, and use a more comfortable, conversational tone.
New Logo: A Sense of Confidence & Credibility
This refreshing new brand image reflects our more focused approach to helping associates build their businesses
so they can provide even more families with strategies for better tomorrows. The logo symbolizes the door of
opportunity WFG offers associates and the families they serve, while the slate gray tones and burgundy accents of the
new color palette exude modern professionalism.
7. New Look
We’re putting forth a new face in all media channels, including our two newly redesigned high-impact websites for
the U.S. and Canadian markets and our social media presence on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter. We also revamped
our most popular marketing pieces to this updated look, and we are creating new materials that showcase our
revitalized brand. The compelling and relatable imagery is easier for consumers to connect to and engage with and,
most importantly, link back to our brand message and core value – helping families.
New Voice
We changed our tone to reflect the new direction of WFG. Our voice is now more conversational, welcoming and
accessible, which more accurately supports our goals of service to our associates, their clients and the industry.
9. Sponsorships
We renewed our commitment to sponsor family-oriented sports in both
the United States and Canada. These sponsorships allow the company to be
part of the energy and excitement of sports that are popular across North
America and the world. They also provide an opportunity for more families
and individuals in need of financial services to learn about WFG and how
our associates can help them.
Over the last two years we’ve continued sponsorships or become sponsors of
events and athletes including:

• Continental Cup of Curling
• Team Jennifer Jones, curling’s 2012 Canadian Scotties Tournament of
Hearts Bronze Medalists and the 2011 Silver Medalists

11. NEW OPORTUNITIES
We’ve focused on providing more robust opportunities to WFG associates
and the families they serve. These seemingly simple changes have made a
large impact on WFG.
A Stronger Business Platform
We strengthened our business platform, making it a more solid
foundation for entrepreneurs to build successful financial services
businesses. Now, associates have better tools to serve their teams and
clients more efficiently and grow their businesses more effectively.
A few of the changes we’ve implemented to improve the WFG business
platform include:
• An upgraded associate intranet, MyWFG.com, that includes additional
team-building and business-tracking reports and tools and a more
user-friendly experience
• Enhanced social media tools and improved information available to
people who search the web for WFG
• Increased capacities for WFG associates to submit forms and applications
electronically
• More mobile solutions developed for the iPad and other tablets and
mobile devices so associates can conduct business with greater flexibility
• Text-messaging solutions that alert associates about team milestones,
commission payments and major company announcements
These and many other solutions have been put in place or are in process
to help boost productivity and affirm that WFG is a cutting-edge financial
services company that offers a great business opportunity.
13. NEW PRODUCTS & STRONGER AFFILIATIONS
WFG and its affiliated companies have developed stronger relationships with key product and service providers that
empower WFG licensed associates to offer individuals and families more options than ever before. This power of choice
for our clients helps them to create a strategy specific to their needs and improve their financial situations.
For example, our relationship with Western Reserve Life gives WFG associates in the United States exclusive rights to
offer an exciting new life insurance product, the WRL Financial Foundation IUL. This product combines life insurance
with a long-term care rider and other features that address the needs of people living longer in retirement.
Through our affiliation with Crump Life Insurance Services, WFG associates in the United States can identify providers
who can best provide a wide variety of specialized products to serve the needs of our clients, including those living
with chronic conditions, such as diabetes or high blood pressure, and negotiate a competitive offer.
By collaborating with La Capitale, we are empowering WFG associates in Canada to give their clients additional options
for universal life insurance, critical illness insurance, term life insurance and long-term care insurance products.
Additionally, our stronger relationship with Transamerica enables WFG associates to offer various Transamerica Life
Insurance products that were not previously available to them.
15. WINING CAMPAIGNS
Imagine the power of 20,000+ WFG associates united with the common purpose to help 100,000 families in 100 Days.
That’s what happened with the Helping 100,000 Families in 100 Days campaign, which created energy and excitement
throughout WFG — from the individual associate to the largest team — that extended into the markets we serve.
The campaign, which ran from July 1 to Oct. 8, 2012, encouraged WFG’s associates across the United States and
Canada to assist as many families as possible with the ultimate goal of helping 100,000 families. Those associates who
helped 25 or more families had their names listed in ads that ran in Forbes and Canadian Business magazines, as well
as in the Los Angeles Times.
Today, WFG associates are building on the momentum created by this campaign to help thousands of additional
families realize their financial goals. We are continuing our efforts to create similar campaigns to energize WFG
associates and raise awareness in the markets we serve.
17. Recalibrated Training Program – Innovated to Put Associates in Command
To help our associates build their businesses faster and more solidly, we redesigned our training program, enhancing
it with videos, tools and other resources that associates can access at any time.
The program is designed to help associates become successful, no matter what stage they are in their businesses.
Study materials from leading exam preparation vendors help shorten and simplify the licensing processes. Videos
from top leaders within the company expose associates to different approaches to educating clients, selling products,
building their organizations and sharing the WFG business opportunity. Presentation materials help associates fortify
their knowledge with targeted information so they can accomplish their business goals sooner.
Our redesigned training program powerfully supplements our mentoring business model and gives associates greater
control over their training and development, as they discover their specific path to a better future within WFG.

At the beginning of 2012, WFG’s affiliated broker-dealer, World
Group Securities, Inc. merged with Transamerica Financial
Advisors, Inc. (TFA) to create Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc.
– Transamerica Financial Group Division. With more than 4,600
registered representatives in the United States, TFA is a broker-dealer
designed to serve Middle America. Our affiliation with TFA
gives our clients access to multiple securities-related products and
services through TFA’s agreements with more than 100 separate
product providers. Additionally, investment advisory services
are offered through TFA, making money management tools,
usually only available to wealthier clientele, accessible to clients
from all walks of life. As of 2011, TFA is ranked #3 in number
of registered representatives in the Independent Broker Dealer
category, according to a report from Cerulli Associates.
21. A REVITALIZED CONVENTION
WFG always puts on an amazing annual convention. In fact, the positive energy of the new WFG attracted a record
number of associates, more than 17,000, to register for the annual Convention of Champions 2012. This high-impact
event featured former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani as the keynote speaker and inspired associates to commit to
helping more families achieve financial security.
However, this year we are launching a revamped Convention that is destined to have an even bigger impact. This
event will focus on core training to help associates learn key skills, motivation from leaders on how to use these
skills to build a strong WFG business and, as always, a celebration of our associates’ successes. The result we hope to
achieve with this revised focus is that associates, at all levels, will leave this convention with the knowledge and tools
to take their businesses to higher levels.
