A podcast or netcast is a digital
medium consisting of an episodic series
of audio, video, PDF, or ePub files subscribed
to and downloaded through web syndication or
streamed online to a computer or mobile
device.
The term "podcasting" was first mentioned by
Ben Hammersley in The Guardian newspaper
in February 2004. It is a combination of iPod
and broadcasting.

URL of a web page is displayed on top inside
an address bar

A web feed (or news feed) is a data format

distributors syndicate a web feed, thereby
allowing users to subscribe to it. Making a

spot is known as aggregation, which is
performed by an agrregator.
A web feed is also sometimes referred to as
a syndicated feed.
