I have joined the laboratory of biomaterials in 2007 to develop a technical platform for cell cultures, basic molecular biology and biochemistry. At presents I head a team comprising a post-doc fellow, two doctoral students and a laboratory technician. I have been active in several fields, that is, gastroenterology, haematology and biomaterials. I have a vast experience 1- with the culture and analysis of human primary cells from various tissues, and especially bone, and 2- in preclinical in vivo testing for medical devices in the field of bone.
