involved with the group
Invisible Children when she
was seventeen years old.
She helped get a bill passed
to help end a twenty-five
year war in Africa and
continues to fight for all of
those affected by it.

help the children of the war
stricken Uganda escape the
fear of being abducted and
being forced to be a child
soldier. They raise awareness
about their struggles and the
importance of helping to
apprehend the man in charge,
Joseph Kony, to end the
horrible acts that are
happening there.

TED Talk speech to show the amazing
efforts of those involved in Invisible Children and to
inspire other young people to help others. She tells
them that no matter what your age is, you are
never too young to help.

explains the hardships of her childhood and
her struggles, which later led her to become
