Philosophy
The overall purpose of the Coalition is to operate on a non-profit basis for the promotion of social
welfare by developing, maintaining and improving a balanced system of lifelong learning.
Programs
Tech Prep – legislation for nation’s community colleges that allows students to earn high school and
college credits at the same time for successful completion of Career and Technical Education courses
in high school.
Federal Literacy Programs – a program designed to fight against elimination federal literacy
programs.
Work Keys – skills assessment test designed for those who are interested in or currently working for
employers that place emphasis on National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).
Population
Adult learners, continuing education, and organizations committed to lifelong learning.

The organization has envisioned a more humane world made contingent by the diverse practices of its
members in assisting adults obtain the knowledge, skills and beliefs needed to lead productive and
fulfilling lives.

conferences in the following fields:
