Message from Rev Sebastiana
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Next month marks a year I have been with you first as
supply minister then as locum tenens. It has been an
unusual time due to Covid and managing the pain of the
past but it has been a privilege to serve here.
I have enjoyed working closely with many of you and
getting to know you all. As an Architect’s daughter with a
particular love for old, beautiful churches it has been a
delight to worship in St Paul’s. I have been going around
bragging to colleagues that I get to preside in the
prettiest church in the diocese (this has resulted in much
chest-thumping at local clergy gatherings)!
I had planned on staying with you until you found a new
rector but I have been offered a position as Chaplain at
Amana Living out of the blue and I think this would be a
good move for me.
My final day in the parish will be Christmas Day so we
have plenty of time to say goodbye properly.
My thanks for your love and goodwill,
Sebastiana

Coronavirus Reminder!
Please remember that it is only through our social
distance from other states that as Western Australians,
we are able to enjoy a COVID-19 safe environment
... for now.
However, we are all still required to do our bit to maintain
our safety and that of our friends, by washing our hands,
using hand sanitiser and maintaining our social distance.
It is particularly important to remember these simple
requests during our gatherings on Sunday mornings both
in the church and during morning tea. It is our privilege
and responsibility to keep each other safe.

Family Advent Celebrations
The kids team have some delightful family activities
planned for up in the hall during Advent. They would like
you to invite the families in your life to join in the fun
and celebrate Christmas the best way - at St Paul's!
Research shows that 95% of Aussie kids today are not in
church and that the most effective way to bring new
people to church is for those of us who already come to
invite them. Who could you invite? Your grandchildren?
Your neighbours? Your godchildren? We would love to
welcome some new families with kids from babies to
top of primary school.
Look out for the postcard invitations coming your way
at church this Sunday.
Last week was the
final Elders' Morning
Team of the year. Full
credit to Pauline for
making it happen
every month, and to
everybody who has
helped out with set up,
invitations, food, and
so on throughout the
year.

That's a Wrap
Thanks to all those who came to Kath and Ruth's 90th
birthday party last weekend.
Kath wants to pass on her thanks to everybody who
facilitated the very happy gathering: all those who helped
with setting up, clearing away, the furniture, the food, etc.
