2. DESKTOP COMPUTER
A desktop computer is a screen which provides graphics and sound, a
keyboard and mouse are connected to it. The base keeps all the
internal components safe, such as the motherboard, graphics
card, sound card and RAM..
3. LAPTOP
A laptop is a portable computer, it’s components are smaller so it is
light and small. The laptop screen is connected to the keyboard and
there is a touch pad instead of a mouse.
4. TABLET
A tablet is a touchscreen potable computer, one of the most popular
tablets is the ipad made by Apple. The tablet allows you to go onto
the internet, it does everything a computer does but you can just tap
the screen, there is no mouse or touch pad.
5. HANDHELD COMPUTER
A handheld computer is like a mobile phone with a computer, a
handheld computer is used a lot in work places.
6. PERSONAL DATA
ASSISTANT
This is a handheld portable mobile phone. It keeps data on it and is a
personal planner, and it is a touchscreen you have to use a plastic stick
(like a pen) to tap on the PDA with.
7. GAME CONSOLES
Games consoles are a computer system that shows graphics on a
screen and you use a handheld device which sends signals to the
console to move characters/objects on screen. Xbox, PlayStation and
Wii are all game consoles. Game consoles either have a screen on the
device or you ply the device into a television.
8. HANDHELD GAME
CONSOLE
A hand held games console is the same as a game console but is
portable.
