1. Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Jan Softa. I am an accredited lobbyist at the Parliament where I follow
the work of the ITRE committee. I am also the owner of http://www.somerco.com
Why do I fight so hard? I have figured out a unique technology solution for how you
match buyers and sellers on social communities such as Facebook, Myspace, Xing,
Viadeo and LinkedIn. It is a new type of income stream for them and as you can
image the potential rewards for my company could be astronomical. Since the
technology is new, it is costly to develop and therefore I held discussions with others
in order to apply to FP 7.
Instead of pushing my case to the European Court of Justice I will try to ask you the
Parliamentarians to ask for a questioning about my case OF/2011/940. I am interested
in knowing what more info OLAF expected me to send to them besides the names of
the people I been in contact with and the discussion papers I used when I presented
my idea to them. You find more info on http://www.slideshare.net/SomercoResearch
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Besides, what I have been presented before I am also presenting the following.
It was very rare that so called forum spammers1 registered on my social network
before I contacted FP7 and OLAF. It could be 1-2 forum spammers/week. After I
reported the potential fraud to FP7 and OLAF about two years ago the forum
spammers have steadily increased from a few/day to several/day. This further
escalated after February 2013 to be several every hour to continue to be
several/minute. When this summer began there was yet another big increase in
registered forum spammers. At its worst this summer, I counted to 8- 10 forum
spammers that registered every minute. I have documented about 60 000 forum
spammers and have deleted several 10 000s of thousands that are not documented. 10
000 of thousands are still on the site but have not been documented yet. I cannot
continue the documentation because the site is off-line.
At http://www.ahrefs.com you can type in somerco.com and see that there are
between 250 000 - 260 000 so called backlinks to my site. It could that more than
95% of these are created by forum spammers that link to spamsites. Computer servers
are sensitive to forum spammers emails and are therefore protected by software that
can detect forum spammers. In this summer, I planned to continue to delete these
forum spammers.
I also planned to change from my old hosting provider to a new. To change into a new
hosting provider could normally take about three – four days depending on the size of
the website. I hired a company in the begging of the summer to do this work but the
site did not work properly. Therefore, I decided to upgrade to a server with a lot more
capacity that the company could use to get the website up on.
https://drupal.org/node/2126313 The site will be re-launched later.
