Human traficking case
Corruption, bribery and state-sponsored terrorism against innocent
individuals and corporations
Widespreadmedia coverage was given, atthe time, to an alleged mega-caseofhuman trafficking
that erupted in Portugal and, initially, entangled 24 individuals and 11 corporations – the large
majority connected to the agriculture sector. All 35 of these individual and collective persons were
formally charged by the Public Prosecutor´s office for the offences of human trafficking (for lab our
exploitation), employment fraud and criminal association.
A police investigation carried out by the investigative police force of Portugal (named “Polícia
Judiciária” – in short, PJ), equivalent to the FBI or CIA of the USA or Scotland Yard of the UK,
allegedly uncovered incriminating signs, clues, findings, indicators, traces or pointers (in
Portuguese, we say “indícios” – a term which certainly cannot, in any way, be translated as
“evidence”),based almostexclusively on intercepted and recorded phone calls, that was relayed
to the General Public Prosecutor (GPP) or Attorney General of Portugal.
The GPP determined that the PJ´s report and findings were sufficient grounds for moving against
the suspects and formally charging the 35 subjects with the above-mentioned crimes and
constituting them as defendants. The GPP put forward the formal accusation composed of
approximately 500 points.
During the pre-trial phase (many defendants opted to not take part in the pre-trial debate)the pre-
trial judge (Honorable Mr. Ivo Rosa)decided that 12 individuals and 4 corporations should not be
taken to trial because the findings were flimsy and unsubstantiated. He also dropped the charges
of employment fraud and criminal association against ALLdefendants (in Portuguese we say
“arguidos”– a term/concept nearly impossible to effectively translate). So, that determined that 12
individuals and 7 corporations would have to face trial for having, according to the GPP,
committed the crime of human trafficking (in co-authorship).
The process case number is 576/14.5/GEALR – the pre-trial judge determined that the trial would
be conducted by the court of Santarém (a city approximately 80 km north from Lisbon). The trial
began on April 18, 2017 and final allegations have been scheduled for September 15, after the
long summer court recess. If all goes well, 3-4 weeks later, the all-female panel composed of 3
judges will render a decision.
So, what is so special about this? One would imagine, that it´s just another crime police unit
investigation that uncovered indicators of ciminality that justified the GPP´s decision to press
charges and file an accusation against a group of “bad asses” responsible for establishing and
running a human trafficking ring, right?
No! Absolutely and completely wrong! That´s what the Portuguese media and the public has been
led to believe – but, it´s nothing less than a horrendous lie, that conceals the deeply sinister truth.
The whole police investigation and criminal court case is a huge fraud! A massive and deeply
disturbing hoax! The defendants are not all “defendants”, but the unfortunate “victims” of police
corruption, persecutionand conspiracy. It may seem crazy, but they are truly the victims of state-
sponsored terrorism!Sponsored by Portuguese criminal investigationand prosecutionauthorities.
Who? What? Why? How? Let me explain as briefly as possible – genuine evidence is available to
back up all claims put forward.
The whole issue started with a dispute betweentwo warring parties. A dispute regarding business
misunderstandings, money, betrayal, etc, – it never, at ANY point, had ABSOLUTELY anything to
with human trafficking.
In the wrestling ring were two tag-team warring factions – on one side of the ring stood two Israeli
individuals and former friends named Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, onthe other side
of the ring stood two brothers – Fernando and Jaime (James) Baptista.
The Israeli, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, established a corporation in Portugal, on
2013.01.26, of which both were official managers from day one called T rabsolution Lda. This
corporationspecialized inproviding large Portuguese agribusinesses with manpower for fruit and
vegetable picking and harvesting. The Portuguese farm businesses were unable to find enough
workers because virtually nobody in Portugal wants to work in agriculture (as is the case in so
many other countries as well).
The team of farm labourers provided by T rabsolution Ld a to Portuguese farms were 100%
composed of foreign workers (nearly all from Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and India). The two
Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, had strong connections to these workers of
Asian descent. They had considerable experience with this kind of activity in Israel and were
exporting this business model to Portugal.
However, the two Israelis only spoke Hebrewand English. They had no understanding and were
unable to communicate in Portuguese. Also, they had no knowledge of Portuguese laws and
regulations nor any connections to the major players and businesses in the farm business. For
these reasons, and also because they had no intention of establishing residence in Portugal, they
needed to find somebody to manage their company and make it successful.
The Baptista brothers – Fernando and James – were referred to them by an individual connected
to a huge farm in the Herdade de Comporta, Portugal. First, Fernando Baptista was hired, but he
soon requested that his brother join the T rabsolution Lda team because business was growing
wildly and Fernando Baptista needed help. T rabsolution Lda quickly grew into a very successful
money-making machine.
The Baptista brothers – who had been taken out of extreme poverty by the Israelis – were
extraordinarily hard-working individuals, systematically putting in 15-16 hour work days. They
were givena few raises, but resentment, nonetheless, beganto brew. They were doing absolutely
all the work. The 2 Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, were rarely in Portugal and
made no effort to hide their lavish and luxurious lifestyles – staying at the best hotels, driving
expensive cars, eating at chic restaurants, bars, nightclubs, women, etc. All these two Israelis did
was, basically, collect money.
The Baptista brothers had the Israelis in their hands and, they were well aware of this fact. They
had gained the trust of the clients and the foreign workers, they spoke Portuguese, they
understood about farming and the farm business environment in Portugal. They had power and
control in their hands. Why should they do ALL the work and receive only a small piece of the pie?
Without any warning and in total secrecy, Fernando and James Baptista set up their own
corporationalong the same lines as T rabsolution Lda.The corporationwas created on 2013.10.28
and named Agrowork Lda . They set up a plan and moved stealthily and quickly to carry it out.
T rabsolution Lda clients and foreign farm workers were sold stories to persuade them to revoke
their agreements with T rabsolution Lda and sign new agreements, containing exactly the same
terms and conditions, with Agrowork Lda .
Although they did meet some resistance, primarily from foreign workers who questioned the
Baptista brothers´ true intentions and the need to sign new employment contracts, their
persuasiveness and persistence paidoffwonderfully. The corporationthey created and managed
– Agrowork Lda – had managed to steal all business from T rabsolution Lda which, for all purposes,
was nothing more than a dead man walking. They had effectively taken the rug from under the
two Israelis´feet (their bosses).
The Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, were completely caught off guard and, as
one can imagine, blew their top. They felt deeply betrayed and cheated. They confronted
Fernando and James Baptista about the issue and threatened court action in order to obtain
compensation for they believed was a crime that the two brothers and former top employees,
entrusted with managing their corporation, had committed.
Possibly, for this reason, Fernando and James Baptista felt somewhat intimidated and were
compelled to reconcile with the Israeli partners and former employers at T rabsolution Lda. An
agreement was established to divide clients between both corporations - T rabsolution Lda and
Agrowork Lda. Rather unsurprisingly, this attempt at reconciliation quickly fell apart. Relations
between the two factions at “war” soured once again.
The Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig concluded that there was no hope in
reaching a compromise that amenable to both parties. So, they gave up – they simply threw in the
towel. T rabsolution Lda dove into deep coma and Agrowork Lda quickly achieved complete
dominance in the provision of agricultural services in Portugal.
BUT, the Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, were adamant with regard to their
staunch demand for a consensual extra-judicial agreement with respect to outstanding money-
related issues that remained to be settled with their former top employees and nowbitter enemies
– Fernando and James Baptista .
The opposing sides met many times for long hours discussing how much money Fernando and
James Baptista would have to provide their former Israeli bosses – Itshak Reitmann and Aharon
Rony Bargig – for stealing their clients, their business and all the machines, equipment and
material that were property of T rabsolution Lda.(The Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony
Bargig had bestowed Fernando and James Baptista with a Power of Attorney encompassing
virtually limitless powers to act onbehalf of T rabsolutionLda – a decisionthey latercame to bitterly
regret).
The cat and mouse game began – a real life episode of“Tom and Jerry”. Just when an agreement
was about to materialize, Fernando and James Baptista would find some way to back out or
postpone the issue. The Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, eventually lost their
patience with Fernando and James Baptista . They would have no more of their games.
Somewhere around October 2014, the two Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig,
decided on a new approach aimed squarely at seeking revenge and retribution, thus setting in
motion a tremendously evil plot that would eventually inflict so much pain, anguish, shame,
suffering and losses to innocent lives and corporations.
T rabsolution Lda´s lawyer, Ana Luísa Gonçalves (office in Lisbon) established the connection
between Itshak Reitmann (he was more the executive office guy of the two Israelis) and a police
detective she knew well, named Rui Bandeira .
The Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, met up with inspector Rui Bandeira from the PJ: The former bribed
the latter with an undisclosed amount of money, purportedly around 10000€. Itshak Reitmann
ascribed the inspectorRui Bandeira a two-fold mission– find a way of putting Fernando and James
Baptista in jail and, putting Agrowork Lda . completely out of business.
Inspector, Rui Bandeira, was given a deadline for this mission to be accomplished – until the end
of July, 2015. Why this deadline? Because in late July or early August the most coveted trophy –
a huge farm business client called Carlos Ferreira - Produtos Hortícolas e Frutos, Lda,would have
the need to sign a manpower service agreement with a corporationthat could provide them with
over 100 farm labourers for a period of approximately 6 months – a mouth-watering prospect.
If Agrowork Lda was not decapitated, they would surely be chosen by Carlos Ferreira Lda over
the competitors because Agrowork Lda had worked for the this client previously and provided
them with excellent service. With Agrowork Lda sidelined – Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony
Bargig – each which had established new corporations with new partners and had also provided
manpower to Carlos Ferreira - Produtos Hortícolas e Frutos, Lda inthe past, when Trabsolution
Lda was the dominant playerin the field of provision of agricultural services, would be in a great
position to reconquer their former client.
Inspector, Rui Bandeira, successfully completed the first part of his mission (second part will be
discussed further on). Fernando and Jaime Baptista, their wives (respectively, Ana Baptista and
Vera Sampaio), plus four other key personnel with supervisory roles were all detained and taken
into preventive custody – effectively, thrown in jail as suspects of practicing or abetting human
trafficking, on 2015.07.28. This story caused a huge splash in the mainstream media. Just two
examples:

Many intriguing and unanswered (or, possibly, unanswerable) questions come to mind when
considering the arrest and detention of the 8 key elements of Agrowork Lda. that ultimately led to
the demise of this highly organized and successful corporation that was clearly the leaderof the
pack in the provision of agricultural services to third party farm businesses in Portugal.
One of the immediate questions that arises is, how is an entire team arrested and a corporation
obliterated for a crime they certainly did not commit, nor ever had the intention to commit?Let us
unravel this mystery.
All 8 suspects were charged for human trafficking by way of the malicious misrepresentation or
exploitation of an event that occurred on September 24, 2014 – with absolutely no connection to
human trafficking.
A Nepalese farm labourer named, Subrat Kumar Rimal, recruited from his native Nepal through
the joint efforts of the owners and managers of T rabsolution Lda – the Israelis; Itshak Reitmann
and AharonRony Bargig, inpartnership witha Nepalese international manpower agency, was the
victim of what was classified by the officer at the police station in the town of Almeirim, Portugal
“act of simple assault and battery”. He was beaten up by one of the managing representatives of
T rabsolution Lda – Fernando Baptista and, because of this incident, decided to file a complaint at
the local police station on that same day.
The Nepalese farm labourer, Subrat Kumar Rimal, had beena headache to the T rabsolution Lda
team, particularly to the owners and managers of the corporation, the Israelis, Itshak Reitmann
and Aharon Rony Bargig, responsible forhis recruitment from Nepal, and to Fernando and Jaime
Baptista, charged with effectively managing him from the very first day he arrived in Portugal.
It was later proven that he had deliberately concealed serious kidney and diabetes related health
problems during the medical exam in Nepal before the work visa was issued. He was not fit to
work in agriculture, he just wanted to gainentrance to Portugal to benefit from the free health care,
particularly hemodialysis treatments, which he knew he would eventually have to undergo. In
Nepal, the health system offers extremely poor service and he would have had to pay for
treatment. He would not be able to afford it – this situation represented a serious risk to his life.
On the same day Subrat Kumar Rimal filed the police complaint at the Almeirim police station for
the crime typified as “simple assault and battery”, he was handed a notification to appear5 days
later at the Santarém courthouse to undergo medical exams. The medical examination was
required to assess any injuries that may have been sustained during the aggression and
necessary to proceed with the case if the Nepalese victim, Subrat Kumar Rimal, so desired. He
didn´t appear to undergo medical examinations, nor did he provide any justification for not
showing up. Quite clearly, it hadn´t been something very serious.
On October 25, 2014, the chief of the Almeirim police station informed the district prosecutor´s
office that, despite their efforts, they were unable to locate the Nepalese citizen, Subrat Kumar
Rimal, and, according to unconfirmed reports, he had moved to another location in Portugal or
returned to his homeland,Nepal. They communicated that the inquiry had beenclosed – they were
no longer going to pursue the case.
For reasons yet unknown, the adjunct district prosecutor, Zita Jorge, after receiving this notice
from the local police chief signed a statement, on October 29, 2014, claiming that this situation
may, “in abstract” consubstantiate the practice of the human trafficking and decided to pursue the
matter further.
According to Portuguese law, human trafficking investigations are the sole responsibility of the
investigative or criminal police authority – the Polícia Judiciária (PJ). By mere coincidence (or,
maybe not), on November 13, 2014, inspector Rui Bandeira signed the term which formally
nominated him as chief inspector of the investigation regarding this hypothetical case of human
trafficking that, lest one not forget, began as a mere case of “simple assault and battery”.
Amazingly, on November 14, 2014, practically at the very same moment he took charge of the
investigation, without evenbothering to explain in his notes how and why, inspectorRui Bandeira
reached the Nepalesevictim, Subrat Kumar Rimal,by phone. The police officers of Almeirim had
no idea of Subrat Kumar Rimal´s whereabouts. They had beentrying to locate him for one month
to no avail, yet, inspectorRui Bandeira manages to reachhim almostatthe very moment he takes
charge of the investigation. Sounds fishy? Maybe because it is. Come on, someone provided
inspector, Rui Bandeira, the Nepalese victim´s cellphone number. An interested party, of course.
On November 17, 2014, Subrat Kumar Rimal, appears at the PJ facilities and begins the first of
several interrogations sessions conducted by inspector Rui Bandeira.Essentially,he says he was
cheated, mistreated, abandoned, lived in terrible conditions, etc. He described the two Israelis,
Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig´s physical appearance and told inspector Rui Bandeira
that he had met both of them in Nepal before being recruited and arriving in Portugal. When asked
who he considered responsible for his trafficking he identified 5 individuals: Fernando Baptista,
Jaime Baptista, Itshak Reitmann, Aharon Rony Bargig and Ana Baptista (Fernando´s wife). All
were, at least formally, classified as suspects – very strong suspects.
On February 5, 2015,inspectorRui Bandeira adds a note to the process stating that he had been
“spontaneously” (right, an I was born yesterday!) contacted by a lawyer named Ana Luísa
Gonçalves, who had learned aboutthe investigation regarding the Nepalese victim, Subrat Kumar
Rimal. She claimed that her “client” had a lot of information to share about the case.Rui Bandeira
asked who her “client” was and the lawyer replied “Itshak Reitmann”, someone that “was not
involved in the case under investigation”.
Inspector Rui Bandeira arranged a meeting with the lawyer, Ana Luísa Gonçalves, at the police
station the next day. She appeared and gave inspectorRui Bandeira´s her client´s version of the
story. That Itshak Reitmann had only recently discovered, by way of other Indian subcontinental
foreign workers in Portugal, that Subrat Kumar Rimal, had been beaten up by sub-manager,
Fernando Baptista,at the time, employed by the company of which Itshak Reitmann had a 50%
share and was manager of – T rabsolution Lda .
That several workers who had worked for Itshak Reitmann´s newly established provision of
agricultural services corporation – SNR Solutions Lda – had beensubjected to inhumane treatment
when they worked for Agrowork Lda – under the command of his former Israeli business partner,
Aharon Rony Bargig and former T rabsolution Lda employees, Fernando Baptista and Jaime
Baptista. That with the help of Asian farm workers he was able to locate Subrat Kumar Rimal,
who, at the time, was living on the streets in Lisbon. Itshak Reitmann helped and employed the
Nepalese “victim”, Subrat Kumar Rimal, as his Lisbon office cleaner.
I wonder how many hours per day are needed to cleana HUGE office of 15 to 20 square metres…
of course, there is no doubtwhatsoeverthat Subrat KumarRimal musthave earned a lotof money
with the “job”Itshak Reitmann so generously entrusted him with. Anyway, what mattered to Itshak
Reitmann was maintaining Subrat Kumar Rima l under his wing.
This Nepalese “victim”had a major role to play in the plotdevised by the evil Israeli businessman.
Not only was Subrat Kumar Rimal givenclearinstructions to pretend to be a true “victim”ofhuman
trafficking, he was also asked to persuade other foreign workers to head to the police station and,
basically,do the same, make up stories that would lead to the incrimination of Fernando Baptista
and Jaime Baptista,Agrowork Ldaand, lateron, in part Two of this soap opera, his former partner
and friend, AharonRony Bargig, and the provisionof agriculture services corporations he created,
framed.
Of course, the story about the devilish lawyer, Ana Luísa Gonçalves “spontaneously” calling up
inspector Rui Bandeira on February 5, 2015 is pure hogwash. The same with the Itshak
Reitmann´s account that he only learned in February, 2015 that the so-called Nepalese “victim”,
Subrat Kumar Rimal, had been the victim of simple assault and battery by his former top man –
Fernando Baptista at T rabsolution Lda – the corporation, I emphasize once again, in which the
Israeli evildoer Itshak Reitmann had a 50% share and was co-manager of.
This story was nothing more than a decoy. Everything had been carefully staged and
choreographed well beforehand. The lawyer, Ana Luísa Gonçalves, had already met inspector
Rui Bandeira long before – they were not at all strangers. An evil plot was set up to frame certain
persons and corporations. In the end, many 100% innocent people got caught in the crossfire
because ofcorruption, persecution and conspiracy promoted by the Portuguese state.A true and
degrading case of state-sponsored terrorism. It happens in real life, not just in the movies.
On February 18, 2015, two weeks before the first of 3 formal interrogations sessions at the police
station, inspector Rui Bandeira signed an internal memo proposing that the Israeli, Itshak
Reitmann´s status be changed from prime suspect to witness-complainant based on information,
I stress, “obtained informally” during an initial short encounter with this evil Israeli who has had
problems with Justice in the Ukraine, Nepal,China, Romania and evenin his own country, Israel.
Simply outrageous and downright blasphemous.
How does the United Nation Human Rights Office Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish
Trafficking in Persons Human Trafficking define Human Trafficking?
Article 3
For the purposes of this Protocol:
"Trafficking in persons" shall mean the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt
of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of
fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or
receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another
person, for the purpose of exploitation. (…)”
On November 17, 2014, the so-called “victim”, Nepalese national, Subrat Kumar Rimal, stated
very clearly, during an interrogation session conducted by inspector Rui Bandeira, that he had
met the Israeli, Itshak Reitmann,in Nepal and was able to clearly identify his physical featues. He
also claimed that this experienced Israeli recruiter had played a pivotal role in his recruitment to
work as a farm labourer in Portugal. Surely, if one suspects the “victim” was subject to human
trafficking one would also have to strongly suspect that the Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, may well
have played a crucial role.
The Nepalese victim,Subrat Kumar Rimal, also stated in very clear terms that he knew that both
Israeli T rabsolution Lda shareholders and managers had “problems with Justice in Romania and
Canada for similar reasons as those that had given rise to the current investigation”. That would
certainly raise a flag with any normal police investigatorthat the two Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and
Aharon Rony Bargig, may have a long history of exploitation and human trafficking. But, then
again, as we know, Rui Bandeira , is also no “ordinary” inspector. Not at all.
When Subrat Kumar Rimal was asked,on November, 2014, who he was felt was responsible for
his “terrible” ordeal, this shameful Nepalese criminal masquerading as a “victim” named five
people: Fernando Baptista, Jaime Baptista, Itshak Reitmann, Aharon Rony Bargig and Ana
Baptista (Fernando´s wife).
The 3 Portuguese were detained on July 28, 2015, and maintained in prison under preventive
custody for 16 months and are currently awaiting sentencing from court. However, the 2 Israelis,
Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig , who recruited the “victim”from Nepal and jointly signed
a declaration stating that their corporation – T rabsolution Lda – was, at the time of the victim´s
beating by the defendant, Fernando Baptista, the employer of Subrat Kumar Rimal, were totally
ignored during the police investigation.
From October 2014 onwards, the former Israelis friends and business partners split up and went
their separate ways. Aharon Rony Bargig was the driving force behind the establishment of
several corporations with several different business partners – Jobsquad Lda, Inno-Versatile
Solutions Lda, Followmorning Lda and Bestjob Lda – while the other Israeli, Itshak Reitmann,
established a corporation named SNR Solutions Lda together with a fellow countryman named
Shlomi Jones. All of the corporations were set up to provide manpower solutions to Portuguese
agriculture businesses.
While their bitter enemies – Fernando Baptista and James Baptista and their wives (respectively,
Ana Baptista and Vera Sampaio) – unjustly languished in jail for a crime they DID NOT commit,
and the number one provision of agriculture services corporation – Agrowork Lda put out of
business through the work of an evil conspiracy, the two Israelis could now begin their takeover
of the provision of manpower for agricultural services market.
It is important to bear in mind that the Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, were
not on equal footing. Inspector Rui Bandeira contacted exclusively with Itshak Reitmann – it was
Itshak Reitmann thatinspectorRui Bandeira considered as his clientbecause itwas he who made
the bribe payments.
Also, Ana Luísa Gonçalves, the lawyer who had helped Itshak Reitmann establish a connection
with inspector Rui Bandeira, had broken ties with Aharon Rony Bargig, working exclusively the
for Itshak Reitmann and his newly established corporation, SNR Solutions Lda .
Finally, and very importantly, Itshak Reitmann had been converted by inspector Rui Bandeira´s
“magic wand”, from top suspect to prime witness, complainant, collaborator (and, in practice, co-
inspector and co-conspirator). The other Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig was still, formally (only on
paper, of course), if not in practice, a suspect in the ongoing police investigation.
At this point, it´s important to add one vital detail:one of the corporations AharonRony Bargig had
established after parting ways with his former employees, now bitter enemies, Fernando and
James Baptista and his former business partner and countryman, Itshak Reitmann, named
Jobsquad – Trabalho Temporário Lda , together with the partners he had teamed up with to create
this new provisionof manpowerto farms and temporary work agency business, the Bangladeshi,
Ashikur Rahman, and the Portuguese, Marcelo Araújo,had beenformally designated suspects in
the investigation as early as March, 2015.
It´s extemely likely that the corporation Jobsquad – T rabalho T emporário Lda became a formal
suspect in the fake investigation into human trafficking because inspector Rui Bandeira´s client,
key witness and former top suspect in the investigation (sound outrageous, but it´s true!), Itshak
Reitmann tipped him off, informing the inspector of what his former Israeli business partner and
co-manager at T rabsolution Lda , Aharon Rony Bargig, was up to.
Since March, 2015, inspector Rui Bandeira and his team had collected and recorded a huge
number of intercepted calls from a wide array of people connected and collaborating with
Jobsquad Lda and NEVER took any actionagainst the corporation Jobsquad Lda, the man at the
helm, Aharon Rony Bargig or, for that matter, anyone else directly or indirectly connected to
Jobsquad Lda´s activities.
Some of the intercepted calls (from March to July, 2015) referred to situations of overcrowded
housing, arrears, shortage of beds and mattresses, poorliving conditions, workers claiming to be
hungry and neglected, etc, etc. However, Rui Bandeira and his team not once visited the farms,
the overcrowded houses, tried to take pictures, obtain recordings, gather testimonies and other
facts, or in any way obtain more detailed information or take action to discover,in loco, what those
intercepted calls could add to the investigation.
Like I referred earlier, the entire backbone of the former T rabsolution Lda team (8 people, who,
had later moved to Agrowork Lda) were placed and maintained in custody because of the
suspicion they were responsible for trafficking the fake Nepalese “victim” of human trafficking ,
Subrat Kumar Rimal, but the formal owners and managers of T rabsolution Lda – the two Israelis,
Itshak Reitmann and AharonRony Bargig ,who had recruited and who were responsible for Subrat
Kumar Rimal´s arrival in Portugal - continued going about business completely oblivious to the
ongoing investigation.
One of the Israelis, Itshak Reitmann, had surprisingly been converted to “witness-complainant”
by the police inspector he had hired, but the other, Aharon Rony Bargig, was one of the top
suspects in the ongoing investigation – one of the “group of five” prime suspects named by the so-
called phoney Nepalese “victim”, Subrat Kumar Rimal, during his interrogation sessions,
conducted by inspector Rui Bandeira, in late November 2014.
Aharon Rony Bargig´s phone calls and his every move were being officially monitored by the
investigation team led by inspector Rui Bandeira (they had loads of information about him and
Itshak Reitmann), however, he NEVER received a call or notification from anyone connected to
the investigation to make statements or undergo interrogation.
Unexplainingly, Aharon Rony Bargig, was left at peace and completely ignored, along with
everyone else collaborating or connected to the Jobsquad Lda team because he and all these
individuals whose phone calls were being intercepted and recorded were benefitting from what
can be fairly labelled as “extended protection coverage”by inspectorRui Bandeira and his client,
the infamous Israeli, Itshak Reitmann. But, the honeymoon was soon to come to an end.
The new provisionof manpower and agricultural services corporationestablished on 2015.01.06
by Itshak Reitmann – SNR Solutions Lda (just a few days after creation of Jobsquad Lda - the
corporation spearheaded by his former friend and business partner, Aharon Rony Bargig),
although fully aware of it´s existence, was completely ignored by the police investigation
conducted under the leadership of inspector Rui Bandeira .
SNR Solutions Lda was setup for exactly the same purpose, targeted precisely the same clients,
did exactly the same things and had exactly the same “modus operandi”and “modus faciendi” as
T rabsolution Lda, Agrowork Lda, Ampliservice Lda, Jobsquad Lda and Followmorning Lda, but,
inspector Rui Bandeira decided that SNR Solutions Lda would not be investigated.
What reason did inspector Rui Bandeira provide for this decision? He wrote a memo stating that
“SNR Solutions Lda had been legally established by Itshak Reitmann together with a person
called named Shlomi Jones and, as such, would not, for the time being, be the object of inquiry in
the current investigation”. It´s as simple as that.
But, hold on a second? Weren´t all the other corporations legally established too? Am I missing
something? I know it may hard to believe, but it´s absolutely true. SNR Solutions Lda would never
in a million years be investigated because the owner and manag er of the corporation, Itshak
Reitmann, had hired inspector Rui Bandeira to provide him with protection. Tragic, terrible, but,
sadly, true!
A few months after the detention and imprisonment of all of Agrowork Lda´s major players and
the complete decimationof the coporation,Aharon Rony Bargig fell out of fortune with his former
friend and business partner, Itshak Reitmann.Notonly did Aharon Rony Bargig fall out of fortune
with his former friend and business partner, he became Itshak Reitmann´s worstenemy and most
hated person on earth. A hate so visceral, that it defies description.
Without indulging too much into details,it´s reasonable to believe that Itshak Reitmann´s extreme
hatred stemmed from the fact that Jobsquad Lda, the corporation effectively managed by his new
worst enemy, Aharon Rony Bargig, had become tremendously more successful than SNR
Solutions Lda – the corporation established by Itshak Reitmann. SNR Solutions Lda never
emerged from the shadows and, for all purposes, it was an utter failure.
Also, Itshak Reitmann believed that his former Israeli friend and partner, Aharon Rony Bargig,
was still secretly collaborating with the traitors and former bitter enemies, Fernando and James
Baptista, not only by trying to carve up the Portuguese provision of manpower and agricultural
services marketbetweentheir corporations, but also by managing international job orders ontheir
behalf. Itshak Reitmann blewhis top, especially whenhe learned that he had beenexcluded from
a share of the huge pie that international recruitment and placement initiatives represent. He
simply could not accept this.
Itshak Reitmann is an Israeli, that perfectly fits the stereotype of the typical avaricious, greedy,
money-hungry Jew. To this unbelievably wicked Israeli, money is God. International recruitment
is an enormous source of income. Both Aharon Rony Bargig and Itshak Reitmann had earned a
lot of money in the past undertaking these activities – it is something they were quite familiar with.
Itshak Reitmann believed he was entitled to a piece of the pie – the money Aharon Rony Bargig
was set to earn from recruiting workers from the Indian subcontinent for Agrowork Lda.However,
Aharon Rony Bargig totally disagreed with his former partner and Israeli counterpart. He made it
clear he would not share a penny with Itshak Reitmann.
Sometime around October2015,atLisbon´s airport, when tensions between the two Israelis were
particularly high and before departing to Israel, Itshak Reitmann, warned his Israeli counterpart,
Aharon Rony Bargig , that if he didn´t pay him an unspecified, but unquestionably large sum of
money, that Itshak Reitmann felt he was entitled to, he would give instructions to inspector Rui
Bandeira to do to Aharon Rony Bargig the same as he had done with Fernando and James
Baptista and the whole Agrowork Lda team (all those who had previously worked for Trabsolution
Lda).Translation: find of way of detaining, putting him in jail and charging him with crimes related
to human trafficking.
Aharon Rony Bargig did not take his former friend and business partner´s warning seriously – he
dismissed it as nonsense. He simply refused to believe that someone he had known for so many
years, since childhood, someone that had been his partner and good friend, could stoop so low.
But, this proved to be just another of the long collection of misjudgements Aharon Rony Bargig
has made in his lifetime. However, this misjudgement had extremely serious consequences for
him and for many other completely innocent“bystanders” who were caught in the crossfire. It was
at this point that the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig , lost his unofficial “immunity” and suffered a
complete reversal of fortune – in the negative sense.
Yes, Itshak Reitmann did indeed give inspectorRui Bandeira instructions to carry out part Two of
his mission. And, inspector Rui Bandeira complied – it was all just a question of setting the bribe.
However, the second missionthe Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, assigned to Rui Bandeira was farmore
demanding than the first one.
The main difficulties were the lack of time, the poortiming and the need to backtrack. If actionwas
to be taken against Aharon Rony Bargig , and the wide array of collaborators and provision of
manpower and agricultural services corporations he was connected to, it should have been done
a long time ago.
If inspector Rui Bandeira had ever imagined he would be given the mission of finding a way of
detaining, jailing and incriminating Aharon Rony Bargig and, putting Jobsquad Lda corporation
out of business, he would have followed up on the large collection of intercepted and recorded
phone conversations they had gathered long before, shortly after the so -called police
“investigation” began. What concrete proof or evidence could be put forward now besides,
essentially, intercepted phone calls?
In retrospect, looking at it coldly and objectively, it was an unquestionably bad decision for
inspector Rui Bandeira to have accepted the bribe to carry on with the phoney police
“investigation”. He must have really needed the money to solve personal issues to have accepted
the bribe to carry out mission number two – a mission that wasn´t initially planned or rehearsed
and, as developments would demonstrate, destined to fail.
Although the evidence and the formal accusation that could have been levied against Fernando
and Jaime Baptista,Agrowork Lda and the entire backbone ofthis corporationwere extraordinarily
weak and stood an extremely slim chance of resulting in a guilty verdict in court, at least there
was a very small connection to reality.
However, when inspector Rui Bandeira tried to fit in Aharon Rony Bargig, Jobsquad Lda,
Followorning Lda and a wide host of other suspects into the same process, all contact with reality
was lost. The whole case, the charges, the accusation became nothing less than a wild and
extravagant fantasy – more surreal than a blockbuster Bollywood movie.
Both conspirators, inspector Rui Bandeira and Itshak Reitmann understood thatthe case against
the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig, the person Itshak Reitmann (his former friend and business
partner) wished so intensely to see incriminated and jailed, was extraordinarily weak.It was crystal
clearthat no actions had beencommitted that could reasonably lead anyone to suspectof human
trafficking. But, for a number of reasons, there was no possibility of initiating a new police
investigation – a way had to be found to “fit” the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig, along with all the
individuals and corporations directly or indirectly linked to him, into the ongoing investigation –
code name “processs 576/14.5 GEALR ”.
Itshak Reitmann requested and pressured foreign workers working at his corporation – SNR
Solutions Lda – to head to the police station where inspector Rui Bandeira would receive and
interrogate them. They were instructed to make up stories about being mistreated, abused,
cheated, etc., anything that could help build a case and, eventually, lead to the incrimination and
incarceration of the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig. Itshak Reitmann asked the foreign workers of
Asian descent to speak with friends and ask them to collaborate in these efforts.
Of course, all these foreign workers of Asian descent were offered money or jobs or both to
provide false testimony against the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig. The predominant cultural
practices, norms and values, as well as the general mentalities of the people raised in Indian
subcontinent countries is radically different than those prevalentin the Western world. The foreign
workers of Asian descent are terrified of the authorities. They would never take part in these
criminal games if they did not have something to gainfrom it or, if they stood the chance of losing
something important to them if they refused to “cooperate”, like, for example, their jobs.
Despite their enormous efforts, inspector Rui Bandeira and the wickedly evil Israeli, Itshak
Reitmann, were not at all successful. The vast majority of the foreign workers they tried to
encourage or coerce to provide false testimony refused to do so. On one hand, they were simply
too terrified at the prospectand consequences ofbeing caught lying under oath and, on the other
hand, they refused to testify against Aharon Rony Bargig and the individuals and corporations
linked to him because they were not going to incriminate those who had delivered what was
promised and treated them well.
On 2016.04.11, inspector Rui Bandeira produced a long report of 146 pages with outrageous
baseless assumptions and lies in which he proposed that search and arrest warrants be issued
against, no more and no less, than an additional 24 additional individuals and corporations. The

On May 31, 2016,at 7 am sharp , dozens of inspectors armed with warrants stormed the homes,
offices and factories of the individuals and corporations listed in the table mentioned above. A
group of 4 individuals was detained and placed under preventive custody in a Lisbon jail,
including, the “most wanted man”,the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig.More would have beenjailed,
but, at the time the police acted on the warrants, they were outside Portugal.
The scene played out when the team of police inspectors barged into Aharon Rony Bargig´s
house, was reminiscent of a passage in the New Testament, Book of Matthew, 27:46
“About the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice,«Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?» which means,
«My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?»”
The Israeli, AharonRony Bargig ,totally unaware and completely takenby surprise, was frantically
running around the house asking the inspectors, one by one, “Rui?”, “Are you Rui?”, “Who is
Rui?”,“Where is Rui?”. At the police station, he continued to ask to speak with only one inspector
that he knew went by the name “Rui”. The police inspectors taunted him, assuring him that he
would have his chance to speak with Rui.
“Rui”, of course, was inspector Rui Bandeira.Although the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig, had not
met or dealt with the inspector himself - that task belonged to his former partner and now his most
bitter enemy, Itshak Reitmann – Aharon Rony Bargig was fully aware and a party to the fact that
his former friend and partner, Itshak Reitmann had bribed an inspector to frame their former
T rabsolution Lda employees – Fernando and Jaime Baptista and destroy Agrowork Lda, the
corporation these two brothers had established. The one thing he knew and clearly revealed is
that the inspector´s name was “Rui” – and, indeed it was.
He was crying out for “Rui”ina vainattempt to understand why inspector Rui Bandeira had turned
against him when he had been bribed by Itshak Reitmann (and, also by Aharon Rony Bargig
because, initially, he was fully aware and active party in the plot) to incriminate the Baptista
brothers, not him or his corporations.
If Rui Bandeira could´ve replied he would have, at that time. told the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig,
“Dear Aharon! Dear Aharon! Please forgive me for my betrayal, but the Devil´s temptation was
too powerful for me to resist!” The truth is, this would be comical, were it not so deeply and
unequivocally tragic for so many people, families and corporations.
The 4 detained and jailed suspects stood before the famous Portuguese pre -trial judge, Carlos
Alexandre, in the first days of June, to undergo preliminary interrogations based on the findings
presented by the GPP – findings 100% based oninformation passed up by inspector Rui Bandeira
and his team. The pre-trial judge had already made up his mind – he is just a cog in the machine,
a part of the “system” he belongs and pays homage to.
Regardless ofthe worthiness of the findings, there was no way judge Carlos Alexandre was going
to oppose the GPP wishes or intentions. So, obviously, he decided that based on the findings
(indicators uncovered by the investigationteam) the 4 suspects should remain jailed in preventive
custody.
The GPP had approximately, 48 calendar days to meet the deadline to produce a formal
accusationagainstthe initial group of suspects, individuals and corporations,4 of which remained
in jail, under preventive custody, since July, 28, 2015 AND somehow find a way of fitting 24 new
suspects in the same accusation because the investigation file number was the same for all of
them. Hadn´t inspector Rui Bandeira taken on more than he could handle?!
The formal accusation, put forward on 2016.07.20 (approximately one week before deadline),
provided the answer to the previous question: inspector Rui Bandeira had unquestionably taken
on far more than he could handle. The accusation was an absolute disaster! A wild fantasy, an
incredible display of uncontrolled imagination detached from any connection with reality, a
delirium, an act of reckless and gross irresponsibility, a vile and shameful display of the darkest
side of the Portuguese criminal justice system. It is so, so awful, so poor, so brainless and
injudicious, so downright stupid, that it defies any efforts at classification.
As the saying goes,“it´s easier to catch a liar than a lame dog ”.Fortunately, the truth always come
to light sooneror later, just as surely as olive oil eventually rises to the surface when mixed with
water. Everyone has a weak spot. Itshak Reitmann´s weak spotwas the dependency and trust he
had placed in the Nepalese manpower agent, Sharad Gurung. The Israeli, Itshak Reitmann,
desperately needed the Nepalese manpower agent Sharad Gurung´s close cooperation for a
number of reasons.
One reason is that he needed a manpower agent in Nepal that could provide assistance in
obtaining a visa that would enable the case´s prime victim´s son to come to Portugal. The
Nepalese “victim” (in reality, co-conspirator), Subrat Kumar Rimal, whose testimony and ordeal
was the quintessential elementof the accusation, said he would sign anything the fiendish Israeli,
Itshak Reitmann, asked him to if one condition was met: “First, bring my one son to Portugal”.
Now, this is damning evidence that something very promiscuous indeed is going on.
Another strong reasonfor the dependency and,as we will shortly examine, misplaced trust in the
Nepalese agent, Sharad Gurung, was Itshak Reitmann belief that this agent could provide the
investigation with damning evidence against his arch-enemy, Aharon Rony Bargig. Concrete
evidence that could eventually lead to the incrimination and consequential incarceration of the
Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig, for a number of years – an objective which Itshak Reitmann was
madly obsessed with. It must also be said that Itshak Reitmann had been working in partnership
with Nepalese manpoweragent, Sharad Gurung , for many years in the international recruitment
business.
However, the Nepalese manpower agent, Sharad Gurung, also got caught up in the crossfire
during the second mission that the Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, had instructed his co-conspirator,
inspector, Rui Bandeira, to carry out. He was also considered a prime suspect and there was a
possibility he could actually be charged with the crimes of human trafficking, employment fraud
and criminal associationalong with the others in the very long list of suspects in this fraud -inspired
police investigation.
According to the police investigation “findings” (in reality, malicious inventions) the Nepalese
manpower agent, Sharad Gurung, had teamed up with Israeli prime suspect and “most wanted
man”inthis investigation, Aharon Rony Bargig,to establisha bridge betweenNepal and Portugal
that would allow Nepalese workers to come to Portugal for the purpose of labour exploitation and
human trafficking (this story is so absurd, that it´s impossible to keep a straight face while writing
this).
As one can observe in the English version of accusation presented by the GPP, Nepalese
manpower agent, Sharad Gurung,is pictured as being Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig´s partner:
Nepalese manpoweragent, Sharad Gurung, and Israeli businessman, Aharon Rony Bargig, are
depicted as working in close partnership throughout the entire accusation. Not once is Aharon
Rony Bargig´s formerbusiness partner at T rabsolution Lda,the Israeli evildoer,Itshak Reitmann,
ever mentioned, in the accusation, as having any connection whatsoever to the Nepalese
manpower agent, Sharad Gurung , or having any role in the international recruitment taking place
at that moment. You would think these two were men were complete strangers.
Nothing could be further from the truth! The fiendish Israeli recruiter and conspirator; Itshak
Reitmann, was as well acquainted, orevenbetter acquainted, with the formally accused Nepalese
manpower agent, Sharad Gurung, as his former business partner turned arch-enemy, Aharon
Rony Bargig .
Sharad Gurung being named a suspect (and later, accused) created serious problems for the
Israeli, Itshak Reitmann. Who else would assist the evil Itshak Reitmann in obtaining a visa for
the Nepalese prime victim´s,Subrat Kumar Rimal, son?SubratKumarRimal had madeitperfectly
clearthat he would only play the role of “victim” in the conspiracy devised by Itshak Reitmann and
made possible by inspector Rui Bandeira, onthe condition that Itshak Reitmann bring his one son
to Portugal. If Itshak Reitmann was unable to fulfill his promise to the prime witness, the whole
case could crumble and, evenworse, the whole conspiracy could be exposed. This was a serious
threat.
Also, the Nepalesemanpoweragent, Sharad Gurung, had informed Itshak Reitmann, that he had
strong and concrete evidence (documentation) that could be decisive in framing, incriminating
and, eventually, incarcerating the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig – the person Itshak Reitmann most
hated in the world. If considered a suspect or accused in the police investigation, the Nepalese
manpower agent, Sharad Gurung , would never risk flying to Portugal, meeting up with Rui
Bandeira and submitting the concrete documentary evidence against the Israeli, Aharon Rony
Bargig.
Finally, Itshak Reitmann had no intention of putting and end to international recruitment business
activities that he has been involved in for approximately 20 years. He desperately depended on
the Nepalese manpower agent, Sharad Gurung, to carry on with business in Nepal. Nepal has
always been Itshak Reitmann´s favourite country from which to source employers from wealthier
nations in need of foreign workers because the fees that can be obtained from Nepalese
candidates are considerably higher than in other countries.
Sharad Gurung being drawninto the court case in Portugal could seriously hamper the Nepalese
manpoweragent´s ability to carry on with business as usual, which, of course, could be damaging
to Itshak Reitmann´s bottom line – which is what matters most to this extraordinarily evil, greedy,
money-hungry Israeli crook.
For the reasons mentioned above,Itshak Reitmann, went running to his co-conspirator, inspector
Rui Bandeira, and once again, requested help in finding a fix for this nagging problem. And, once
again, inspector Rui Bandeira, agreed to do all within his power to assist his cherished client in
overcoming this obstacle.
It is important to not lose sight of the fact that inspector Rui Bandeira was, very likely, well aware
that the investigation he conducted was, quite frankly, a disaster. Any information or evidence he
could obtain that would strengthen and add credibility to the accusation would be more than
welcome. If this mega police investigation doesn´t result in convictions it could be extremely
damaging to this corrupt inspector´s career at his agency.
As incredible as it may seem, inspectorRui Bandeira, wrote a memo to the magistrate overseeing
the investigation stating that he received a call from Itshak Reitmann, from a phone number with
Italian international dialing code, and that the Israeli had informed him that he ha d a Nepalese
“friend” named Sharad Gurung that had strong evidence against Aharon Rony Bargig;evidence
that he was willing to speak with the inspector about and bring with him to Portugal. However,
Itshak Reitmann´s “friend”, Sharad Gurung, was reluctant to come to Portugal because he feared
he would be detained upon arrival.
Inspector Rui Bandeira writes in the memo that he informed Itshak Reitmann that he did not have
the power to provide any assurances that the latter´s “friend” Nepalese manpoweragent,Sharad
Gurung, would not be detained by the authorities, but that he would put the situation to the
consideration of those in command.
Finally, at the end of the memo, inspector Rui Bandeira, declares that he gave instructions to the
witness Itshak Reitmann to call again next week to learn if an answer was available. Dear God!
Now, this is promiscuity taken to a scandalous level. Rui Bandeira´s attempt to meet his client´s
request, this time, did not meet with success. It was simply too late in the ball game.
The following emails that Itshak Reitmann shared with his trusted manpower partner in Nepal,
Sharad Gurung, which I had the good fortune of having access to, leave virtually no room for
doubts about the true purpose of the fraudulent police investigation into a purported case of
human trafficking, led by the corrupt inspector, Rui Bandeira .
The phoney Nepalese prime “victim”, Subrat Kumar Rimal, would always update his co-
conspiratorand former employerintwo different corporations, Israeli Itshak Reitmann, aboutwhat
was going on with the investigation:
In the following email, the phoney Nepalese prime “victim”, Subrat Kumar Rimal, claims he is
willing to sign “anything” that his employer, the Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, asks him to sign on one
condition: bring my one son to Portugal. If Itshak Reitmann promises to do this he will be willing
to play the part of “victim” in the evil conspiracy:
In the following email, the phoney Nepaleseprime “victim”, Subrat Kumar Rimal, sends a copy of
his son´s passport to Itshak (a.k.a. “Itsik”) Reitmann by email for him to deliver on what he had
promised. As always, Itshak Reitmann, forwards the email and attachment to his international
recruitment partner in Nepal, the defendant, Sharad Gurung, asking him to read and call him to
provide further details (most likely, to emphasize to keep it confidential and how urgent it was):
Finally, the following email is a display ofthe close collaborationand complicity that characterizes
the relationship between inspector, Rui Bandeira, and his Israeli client and co-conspirator, Itshak
Reitmann.
Many more emails that prove, without any reasonable doubt, that the whole police investigation
on alleged human trafficking in Portugal was nothing more than an evil pretext, a meticulously
orchestrated fraud, a monumental sham, a terrible hoax, shameful trick, a willful and deliberate
act of persecution, a carefully prepared and executed conspiracy promoted by the Portuguese
State to incriminate innocent persons and corporations, can be provided – but, surely these 4
emails speak volumes and go a long way to revealing the truth behind the massive and monstrous
lie. Everyone knows that 1+1=2 or that 2+2=4. It´s as simple as that. Things add up.
In very generic terms, the GPP bases the accusation on the belief that a wide array of actors of
various nationalities and backgrounds, stationed in Portugal and in Indian subcontinental
countries put a planin motion and worked in collusionfor the purpose ofrecruiting, by way of false
and fraudulent promises regarding employmentconditions, unwary foreignworkers, primarily from
Nepal,India, Pakistan and Bangladesh,to Portugal, where, upon arrival, they would become the
victims of abuse, exploitation and human trafficking.
T his assumption is outrageously false. At least 95% of the workforce of the accused corporations
- those that provided manpower services to Portuguese farm businesses made up entirely of
foreign workers – travelled to Portugal uninvited, voluntarily, spontaneously, deciding entirely on
their own, and under their exclusive and totally free initiative, from other European nations.
One may ask “How and why did these individuals of Asiandescentcome to or arrive in Portugal?”.
Because virtually ALL of them had arrived in Europe by way of Schengen visas (short-stay or
tourist visas) issued by other Schengen zone countries. EU is, basically, borderless, so anyone
can travel freely to any Schengen country they please. The foreign workers of Asian descent
headed to Portugal with one objective in mind – apply for and obtain Residence Permit.
Portugal, to the best of my knowledge, was the only EU country with an exceptional backdoor
alternative which enabled foreign workers to obtain the Residence Permit they so desperately
desired. Two essential conditions had to be met: 1) they were required to demonstrate that they
had arrived legally inPortugal and, 2) had also worked legally inthe country for, at least, 6 months.
Workers of Asian descenthave strong connections across Europe. News spreads like wildfire by
word of mouth. They knew, from what they had been told by friends who had trod the same path,
well before making the trek to Portugal, that practically the only activity where they, as foreign
workers, could realistically find employment, was as general farm labourers.
So, upon arrival in Portugal, they headed directly to the offices of the accused provision of
manpower and agricultural services corporations and submitted applicationforms along with the
necessary documentation. If they weren´t called up immediately, they would phone and visit the
offices of these corporations insistently, pleading for employment.
The quicker they became employed and the employerbeganmaking the required Social Security
deductions, the faster they would attain of 6 months of paid employmentwhich would allow them
to submit an applicationfora Residence Permitatthe Immigration and Borders service authorities
– the grand purpose theirdecisionto travel to Portugal. The corporations neverdeceived, recruited
or collected foreign workers of Asiandescent – it was the foreign workers that would continuously
bang at the door, pleading for work. However, it was a legitimate trade-off.
In exchange for employment, without which the foreign workers could not become eligibleto apply
for the muchly desired Residence Permit, they would be willing to accept backbreaking work in
agriculture. The accused provision of manpower and agricultural services corporations profited
from supplying manpower to the Portuguese farms by pocketing whatever was left over after
paying salaries, as well as all other expenses. The employers were well aware that the large
majority of the workers would leave the company shortly after receiving the Residence Card – this
was part and parcel of the unwritten rules of engagement.
Certainly, many things did not go as planned or as was intended. On certain occasions, it was
extremely difficult, next to impossible, to find housing, which led to foreign workers living in
overcrowded and inadequate conditions fora short period of time. This did not happen with all the
workers – only with a small number, in sporadic, time-limited situations. Also, a considerable
number of farm businesses would not pay the corporations for the manpower services provided
according to what had been stipulated in the written agreement, which often led to payments not
being made in a timely fashion and, consequentially, workers receiving salaries behind schedule.
Also, due to disorganization, poor planning and, quite frankly, bad management, transportation
coordination to and from work locations was poorand, at times, they were not enough beds and
mattresses or the ideal number of washrooms in the places of accommodation. Also, given the
very nature of agriculture, workers would often work long hours – but never were they threatened
or coerced to do so,ifit was againsttheir wishes. Sometimes, salaries were processed incorrectly,
but, when this happened, mistakes were corrected. It´s important reiterate that these situations
were not the norm, but the exception. But, they did occur – it wasn´t all a bed of roses. It´s very
tough business.
Albeit, as anyone with a minimal understanding of what human trafficking will agree, the context,
situations and incidents characterized in the preceding paragraphs are not even remotely
connected to human trafficking.
The foreign labourers were working voluntarily for their employers, they were never subject to
physical, verbal or psychological mistreatment or abuse, never in any way humiliated or their
dignity in any way blemished, they were never threatened, scammed orcoerced inany fashion or
forced in any manner, or at any time, to remain with the employer; they were never locked up or
trapped, much to the contrary, they were always as free as wild birds – their freedom was never,
in any way, subject to constraint.
In fact, they very often changed employers and left from one day to the next without any prior
notice. In such situations, their employers could have applied a penalty for abandonment of the
job without paying notice to the advance warning required by law, but never did so. The foreign
workers were in possessionof legal employment contracts, always had the personal documents
with them (passports, residence cards, etc), usually possessed high-quality smartphones with
internet connection and were allowed to move around in absolute freedom and speak with
whomever they pleased, whenever they pleased (except during work hours) personally or by
phone. They were never forced to work, especially if they were injured or ill. If they required
medical assistance, the employer would take them to the nearest health centre or hospital and
assist them in whatever way possible. Whatever they needed, was provided.
They were treated as workers should be treated - as collaborators. They were the most valuable
assets to these corporations because without skilled workers, their employers would be unable to
provide quality service to their clients (agribusinesses). If worker performance was poor, this
carried the serious risk of the clients looking elsewhere for the farm labourers who could perform
well. Quality farm labourers are noteasily found. It was in the employers´greatinterestto appease
the workers and do all within their power to motivate and retain them, as well as avoiding losing
them to their direct competitors.
They were never isolated or taken advantage of or in a situation of particular vulnerability. They
were always alternatives in the labourmarket and competitionfor good performing farm labourers
was stiff. Sometimes, when payment of salaries was delayed, groups of foreign farm labourers
would decide to strike in the morning without warning, leaving the employer and the farmer in a
desperate situation. As soon as their demands were, at least, partially met, they would resume
work in the fields or greenhouses picking and harvesting fruits and vegetables (usually within 2-3
hours). Everything solved through peaceful and civilized dialogue and negotiations. Nobody was
hurt, threatened fired or in any way persecuted after striking. It´s as if nothing had happened.
Even inspector Rui Bandeira himself testified in court, that ALL the workers he had interrogated
or encountered during his investigation had their documents on them, cellphones with internet
connection and never complained of having their freedom restricted of being subject to any
meaningful mistreatment.
How could the GPP have allowed this senseless police investigation to have it´s day in court?
Well, the truth may lie, largely, in the need for numbers. And, also because of general cross-
organizational concerns with assessment, career advancement and promotions of agents and
agencies assigned with the task of monitoring and combatting the so-called human trafficking
“plague”. Portugal has been under pressure from international organizations (for example, US
Department of State) to step up it´s efforts in combatting human trafficking. Although I find it highly
dubious,Portugal has beenidentified as a key transit point or final destinationof human trafficking
victims.
This investigation and formal charges laid against a whopping 35 individuals and corporations
would go a long way to improving statistics and creating the impressionthat Portugal was making
progress on combatting human trafficking! Any concerns with the possibility that ALL of the
accused of the crimes may, in reality, be “victims” would, unfortunately have to take a back seat.
That´s just the way it is.
An horrendously fraudulent accusation, put forward by the GPP; so many innocent people and
corporations being charged for crimes that never existed; a formal accusation structured upon
completely unfounded and baseless assumptions. A sadistic, shameful and groundless attempt
to links facts and episodes totally unrelated and disconnected in a desperate, futile and failed
attempt to come up with a story that could, somehow, some way, appear realistic.
For the purpose of comparison, it´s like a private detective finding a married woman at a café
talking to an unknown male in a perfectly normal fashion and then reporting to the lady´s husband
that his wife is having an affair! However, the accusation levied against all these defendants is
evenworse because itis based largelyonevents that never took placeand mindlessassumptions
that are taken as facts. But, then again, this never had anything to do with human trafficking in the
first place, right?!
Human trafficking is an extremely serious and particularly heinous crime, which makes this whole
plot far more sinister. The lawyer, Ana Luísa Gonçalves, hookedhertwo clients (Trabsolution Lda
owners and managers),Israelis, ItshakReitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig,to herfriend, inspector
Rui Bandeira from the Polícia Judiciária (PJ).Inspector, Rui Bandeira, allowed himselfto be bribed
and established an alliance with the Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, to frame innocent individuals and
corporations for crimes they all knew had not been committed – all they wanted was revenge
against their former partners – Fernando and Jaime Baptista - for business-related issues.
The prime Nepalese “victim” of the investigation, Subrat Kumar Rimal, teamed up with his
employerand boss, top suspect converted into key “witness”, Itshak Reitmann, agreeing to play
the role of “victim” of human trafficking and, one of the initial conspirators, who went along with
the plotbut played a passive role,Israeli Aharon Rony Bargig, became a victim of his own device.
All the workings of a best-selling Agatha Christie crime fiction novel, with the notable exception
that this is a true story – not fiction.
Sometimes, police investigations are unsuccessful because of mistakes, missteps, false leads,
negligence, misinformation, poor organization, bad luck, technical failures, incompetence or
irresponsibility, etc. None of this was the case with regard to this fraudulent, phoney police
investigation.
An evil, dirty, sinister, criminal plot was devised and put in motion to frame and ultimately
incriminate people and corporations for a crime those in charge of the investigation knew very
well, from the start, had neveroccurred. It was an intentional, deliberate, cowardly act thatcaused
tremendous and pointless pain, shame and hardship to a large number of innocent individuals,
their families and corporations.
All 5 of the criminal conspirators deserve eternal damnation. If there is a hell, and I sure hope
there is, these people have their places reserved inthat fiery cauldron. What these evil people did
is unforgiveable!
However, Justice must be served in this world, not the next. For this reason,I will do all within my
power to avenge this horrific act of injustice that has befallen my many innocent friends charged
with crimes they did not and would never commit.
An anonymous denunciation of this scandalous attempt to frame and incriminate innocent
individuals and corporations was submitted by way of the General Prosecutor of Portugal

and criminal actions and decisions made by agents and magistrates that work within or that are
closely to the Central Department of Criminal Inquiry and Investigation??
Or will this anonymous denunciation simply be downplayed, ignored, out on the she lf, archived
and forgotten as so often happens in this otherwise marvelous country??
Only time will tell. But, I will be surprised if any steps or measures are taken to seriously look into
this horrifically evil act and even less likely are those responsible at risk of facing consequences
for their criminal acts.
However all can follow up on the steps taken regarding this anonymous denunciation by
accessing the URL provided above and inserting the following access key (in Portuguese “Chave

This is how the anonymous denunciation appears at this point:
For the sake of T RUT H and JUST ICE, let´s all follow up on developments!

Portugal criminal justice system – A harrowing TRUE story of corruption, persecution and state-sponsored terrorism courtesy of an alliance between inspector Rui Bandeira and evil Israeli recruiter Itshak Reitmann

  • 1. Human traficking case Corruption, bribery and state-sponsored terrorism against innocent individuals and corporations Widespreadmedia coverage was given, atthe time, to an alleged mega-caseofhuman trafficking that erupted in Portugal and, initially, entangled 24 individuals and 11 corporations – the large majority connected to the agriculture sector. All 35 of these individual and collective persons were formally charged by the Public Prosecutor´s office for the offences of human trafficking (for lab our exploitation), employment fraud and criminal association. A police investigation carried out by the investigative police force of Portugal (named “Polícia Judiciária” – in short, PJ), equivalent to the FBI or CIA of the USA or Scotland Yard of the UK, allegedly uncovered incriminating signs, clues, findings, indicators, traces or pointers (in Portuguese, we say “indícios” – a term which certainly cannot, in any way, be translated as “evidence”),based almostexclusively on intercepted and recorded phone calls, that was relayed to the General Public Prosecutor (GPP) or Attorney General of Portugal. The GPP determined that the PJ´s report and findings were sufficient grounds for moving against the suspects and formally charging the 35 subjects with the above-mentioned crimes and constituting them as defendants. The GPP put forward the formal accusation composed of approximately 500 points. During the pre-trial phase (many defendants opted to not take part in the pre-trial debate)the pre- trial judge (Honorable Mr. Ivo Rosa)decided that 12 individuals and 4 corporations should not be taken to trial because the findings were flimsy and unsubstantiated. He also dropped the charges of employment fraud and criminal association against ALLdefendants (in Portuguese we say “arguidos”– a term/concept nearly impossible to effectively translate). So, that determined that 12 individuals and 7 corporations would have to face trial for having, according to the GPP, committed the crime of human trafficking (in co-authorship). The process case number is 576/14.5/GEALR – the pre-trial judge determined that the trial would be conducted by the court of Santarém (a city approximately 80 km north from Lisbon). The trial began on April 18, 2017 and final allegations have been scheduled for September 15, after the long summer court recess. If all goes well, 3-4 weeks later, the all-female panel composed of 3 judges will render a decision. So, what is so special about this? One would imagine, that it´s just another crime police unit investigation that uncovered indicators of ciminality that justified the GPP´s decision to press charges and file an accusation against a group of “bad asses” responsible for establishing and running a human trafficking ring, right? No! Absolutely and completely wrong! That´s what the Portuguese media and the public has been led to believe – but, it´s nothing less than a horrendous lie, that conceals the deeply sinister truth. The whole police investigation and criminal court case is a huge fraud! A massive and deeply disturbing hoax! The defendants are not all “defendants”, but the unfortunate “victims” of police corruption, persecutionand conspiracy. It may seem crazy, but they are truly the victims of state- sponsored terrorism!Sponsored by Portuguese criminal investigationand prosecutionauthorities. Who? What? Why? How? Let me explain as briefly as possible – genuine evidence is available to back up all claims put forward. The whole issue started with a dispute betweentwo warring parties. A dispute regarding business misunderstandings, money, betrayal, etc, – it never, at ANY point, had ABSOLUTELY anything to with human trafficking.
  • 2. In the wrestling ring were two tag-team warring factions – on one side of the ring stood two Israeli individuals and former friends named Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, onthe other side of the ring stood two brothers – Fernando and Jaime (James) Baptista. The Israeli, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, established a corporation in Portugal, on 2013.01.26, of which both were official managers from day one called T rabsolution Lda. This corporationspecialized inproviding large Portuguese agribusinesses with manpower for fruit and vegetable picking and harvesting. The Portuguese farm businesses were unable to find enough workers because virtually nobody in Portugal wants to work in agriculture (as is the case in so many other countries as well). The team of farm labourers provided by T rabsolution Ld a to Portuguese farms were 100% composed of foreign workers (nearly all from Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and India). The two Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, had strong connections to these workers of Asian descent. They had considerable experience with this kind of activity in Israel and were exporting this business model to Portugal. However, the two Israelis only spoke Hebrewand English. They had no understanding and were unable to communicate in Portuguese. Also, they had no knowledge of Portuguese laws and regulations nor any connections to the major players and businesses in the farm business. For these reasons, and also because they had no intention of establishing residence in Portugal, they needed to find somebody to manage their company and make it successful. The Baptista brothers – Fernando and James – were referred to them by an individual connected to a huge farm in the Herdade de Comporta, Portugal. First, Fernando Baptista was hired, but he soon requested that his brother join the T rabsolution Lda team because business was growing wildly and Fernando Baptista needed help. T rabsolution Lda quickly grew into a very successful money-making machine. The Baptista brothers – who had been taken out of extreme poverty by the Israelis – were extraordinarily hard-working individuals, systematically putting in 15-16 hour work days. They were givena few raises, but resentment, nonetheless, beganto brew. They were doing absolutely all the work. The 2 Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, were rarely in Portugal and made no effort to hide their lavish and luxurious lifestyles – staying at the best hotels, driving expensive cars, eating at chic restaurants, bars, nightclubs, women, etc. All these two Israelis did was, basically, collect money. The Baptista brothers had the Israelis in their hands and, they were well aware of this fact. They had gained the trust of the clients and the foreign workers, they spoke Portuguese, they understood about farming and the farm business environment in Portugal. They had power and control in their hands. Why should they do ALL the work and receive only a small piece of the pie? Without any warning and in total secrecy, Fernando and James Baptista set up their own corporationalong the same lines as T rabsolution Lda.The corporationwas created on 2013.10.28 and named Agrowork Lda . They set up a plan and moved stealthily and quickly to carry it out. T rabsolution Lda clients and foreign farm workers were sold stories to persuade them to revoke their agreements with T rabsolution Lda and sign new agreements, containing exactly the same terms and conditions, with Agrowork Lda . Although they did meet some resistance, primarily from foreign workers who questioned the Baptista brothers´ true intentions and the need to sign new employment contracts, their persuasiveness and persistence paidoffwonderfully. The corporationthey created and managed – Agrowork Lda – had managed to steal all business from T rabsolution Lda which, for all purposes, was nothing more than a dead man walking. They had effectively taken the rug from under the two Israelis´feet (their bosses). The Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, were completely caught off guard and, as one can imagine, blew their top. They felt deeply betrayed and cheated. They confronted Fernando and James Baptista about the issue and threatened court action in order to obtain
  • 3. compensation for they believed was a crime that the two brothers and former top employees, entrusted with managing their corporation, had committed. Possibly, for this reason, Fernando and James Baptista felt somewhat intimidated and were compelled to reconcile with the Israeli partners and former employers at T rabsolution Lda. An agreement was established to divide clients between both corporations - T rabsolution Lda and Agrowork Lda. Rather unsurprisingly, this attempt at reconciliation quickly fell apart. Relations between the two factions at “war” soured once again. The Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig concluded that there was no hope in reaching a compromise that amenable to both parties. So, they gave up – they simply threw in the towel. T rabsolution Lda dove into deep coma and Agrowork Lda quickly achieved complete dominance in the provision of agricultural services in Portugal. BUT, the Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, were adamant with regard to their staunch demand for a consensual extra-judicial agreement with respect to outstanding money- related issues that remained to be settled with their former top employees and nowbitter enemies – Fernando and James Baptista . The opposing sides met many times for long hours discussing how much money Fernando and James Baptista would have to provide their former Israeli bosses – Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig – for stealing their clients, their business and all the machines, equipment and material that were property of T rabsolution Lda.(The Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig had bestowed Fernando and James Baptista with a Power of Attorney encompassing virtually limitless powers to act onbehalf of T rabsolutionLda – a decisionthey latercame to bitterly regret). The cat and mouse game began – a real life episode of“Tom and Jerry”. Just when an agreement was about to materialize, Fernando and James Baptista would find some way to back out or postpone the issue. The Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, eventually lost their patience with Fernando and James Baptista . They would have no more of their games. Somewhere around October 2014, the two Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, decided on a new approach aimed squarely at seeking revenge and retribution, thus setting in motion a tremendously evil plot that would eventually inflict so much pain, anguish, shame, suffering and losses to innocent lives and corporations. T rabsolution Lda´s lawyer, Ana Luísa Gonçalves (office in Lisbon) established the connection between Itshak Reitmann (he was more the executive office guy of the two Israelis) and a police detective she knew well, named Rui Bandeira . The Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, met up with inspector Rui Bandeira from the PJ: The former bribed the latter with an undisclosed amount of money, purportedly around 10000€. Itshak Reitmann ascribed the inspectorRui Bandeira a two-fold mission– find a way of putting Fernando and James Baptista in jail and, putting Agrowork Lda . completely out of business. Inspector, Rui Bandeira, was given a deadline for this mission to be accomplished – until the end of July, 2015. Why this deadline? Because in late July or early August the most coveted trophy – a huge farm business client called Carlos Ferreira - Produtos Hortícolas e Frutos, Lda,would have the need to sign a manpower service agreement with a corporationthat could provide them with over 100 farm labourers for a period of approximately 6 months – a mouth-watering prospect. If Agrowork Lda was not decapitated, they would surely be chosen by Carlos Ferreira Lda over the competitors because Agrowork Lda had worked for the this client previously and provided them with excellent service. With Agrowork Lda sidelined – Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig – each which had established new corporations with new partners and had also provided manpower to Carlos Ferreira - Produtos Hortícolas e Frutos, Lda inthe past, when Trabsolution Lda was the dominant playerin the field of provision of agricultural services, would be in a great position to reconquer their former client.
  • 4. Inspector, Rui Bandeira, successfully completed the first part of his mission (second part will be discussed further on). Fernando and Jaime Baptista, their wives (respectively, Ana Baptista and Vera Sampaio), plus four other key personnel with supervisory roles were all detained and taken into preventive custody – effectively, thrown in jail as suspects of practicing or abetting human trafficking, on 2015.07.28. This story caused a huge splash in the mainstream media. Just two examples: http://www.oribatejo.pt/2015/07/30/policia-judiciaria-desmantela-rede-de-trafico-de-seres- humanos-com-ligacoes-ao-distrito-de-santarem/ http://sicnoticias.sapo.pt/pais/2015-07-31-Oito-detidos-em-Almeirim-por-suspeitas-de-trafico- de-pessoas Many intriguing and unanswered (or, possibly, unanswerable) questions come to mind when considering the arrest and detention of the 8 key elements of Agrowork Lda. that ultimately led to the demise of this highly organized and successful corporation that was clearly the leaderof the pack in the provision of agricultural services to third party farm businesses in Portugal. One of the immediate questions that arises is, how is an entire team arrested and a corporation obliterated for a crime they certainly did not commit, nor ever had the intention to commit?Let us unravel this mystery. All 8 suspects were charged for human trafficking by way of the malicious misrepresentation or exploitation of an event that occurred on September 24, 2014 – with absolutely no connection to human trafficking. A Nepalese farm labourer named, Subrat Kumar Rimal, recruited from his native Nepal through the joint efforts of the owners and managers of T rabsolution Lda – the Israelis; Itshak Reitmann and AharonRony Bargig, inpartnership witha Nepalese international manpower agency, was the victim of what was classified by the officer at the police station in the town of Almeirim, Portugal “act of simple assault and battery”. He was beaten up by one of the managing representatives of T rabsolution Lda – Fernando Baptista and, because of this incident, decided to file a complaint at the local police station on that same day. The Nepalese farm labourer, Subrat Kumar Rimal, had beena headache to the T rabsolution Lda team, particularly to the owners and managers of the corporation, the Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, responsible forhis recruitment from Nepal, and to Fernando and Jaime Baptista, charged with effectively managing him from the very first day he arrived in Portugal. It was later proven that he had deliberately concealed serious kidney and diabetes related health problems during the medical exam in Nepal before the work visa was issued. He was not fit to work in agriculture, he just wanted to gainentrance to Portugal to benefit from the free health care, particularly hemodialysis treatments, which he knew he would eventually have to undergo. In Nepal, the health system offers extremely poor service and he would have had to pay for treatment. He would not be able to afford it – this situation represented a serious risk to his life. On the same day Subrat Kumar Rimal filed the police complaint at the Almeirim police station for the crime typified as “simple assault and battery”, he was handed a notification to appear5 days later at the Santarém courthouse to undergo medical exams. The medical examination was required to assess any injuries that may have been sustained during the aggression and necessary to proceed with the case if the Nepalese victim, Subrat Kumar Rimal, so desired. He didn´t appear to undergo medical examinations, nor did he provide any justification for not showing up. Quite clearly, it hadn´t been something very serious. On October 25, 2014, the chief of the Almeirim police station informed the district prosecutor´s office that, despite their efforts, they were unable to locate the Nepalese citizen, Subrat Kumar Rimal, and, according to unconfirmed reports, he had moved to another location in Portugal or returned to his homeland,Nepal. They communicated that the inquiry had beenclosed – they were no longer going to pursue the case.
  • 5. For reasons yet unknown, the adjunct district prosecutor, Zita Jorge, after receiving this notice from the local police chief signed a statement, on October 29, 2014, claiming that this situation may, “in abstract” consubstantiate the practice of the human trafficking and decided to pursue the matter further. According to Portuguese law, human trafficking investigations are the sole responsibility of the investigative or criminal police authority – the Polícia Judiciária (PJ). By mere coincidence (or, maybe not), on November 13, 2014, inspector Rui Bandeira signed the term which formally nominated him as chief inspector of the investigation regarding this hypothetical case of human trafficking that, lest one not forget, began as a mere case of “simple assault and battery”. Amazingly, on November 14, 2014, practically at the very same moment he took charge of the investigation, without evenbothering to explain in his notes how and why, inspectorRui Bandeira reached the Nepalesevictim, Subrat Kumar Rimal,by phone. The police officers of Almeirim had no idea of Subrat Kumar Rimal´s whereabouts. They had beentrying to locate him for one month to no avail, yet, inspectorRui Bandeira manages to reachhim almostatthe very moment he takes charge of the investigation. Sounds fishy? Maybe because it is. Come on, someone provided inspector, Rui Bandeira, the Nepalese victim´s cellphone number. An interested party, of course. On November 17, 2014, Subrat Kumar Rimal, appears at the PJ facilities and begins the first of several interrogations sessions conducted by inspector Rui Bandeira.Essentially,he says he was cheated, mistreated, abandoned, lived in terrible conditions, etc. He described the two Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig´s physical appearance and told inspector Rui Bandeira that he had met both of them in Nepal before being recruited and arriving in Portugal. When asked who he considered responsible for his trafficking he identified 5 individuals: Fernando Baptista, Jaime Baptista, Itshak Reitmann, Aharon Rony Bargig and Ana Baptista (Fernando´s wife). All were, at least formally, classified as suspects – very strong suspects. On February 5, 2015,inspectorRui Bandeira adds a note to the process stating that he had been “spontaneously” (right, an I was born yesterday!) contacted by a lawyer named Ana Luísa Gonçalves, who had learned aboutthe investigation regarding the Nepalese victim, Subrat Kumar Rimal. She claimed that her “client” had a lot of information to share about the case.Rui Bandeira asked who her “client” was and the lawyer replied “Itshak Reitmann”, someone that “was not involved in the case under investigation”. Inspector Rui Bandeira arranged a meeting with the lawyer, Ana Luísa Gonçalves, at the police station the next day. She appeared and gave inspectorRui Bandeira´s her client´s version of the story. That Itshak Reitmann had only recently discovered, by way of other Indian subcontinental foreign workers in Portugal, that Subrat Kumar Rimal, had been beaten up by sub-manager, Fernando Baptista,at the time, employed by the company of which Itshak Reitmann had a 50% share and was manager of – T rabsolution Lda . That several workers who had worked for Itshak Reitmann´s newly established provision of agricultural services corporation – SNR Solutions Lda – had beensubjected to inhumane treatment when they worked for Agrowork Lda – under the command of his former Israeli business partner, Aharon Rony Bargig and former T rabsolution Lda employees, Fernando Baptista and Jaime Baptista. That with the help of Asian farm workers he was able to locate Subrat Kumar Rimal, who, at the time, was living on the streets in Lisbon. Itshak Reitmann helped and employed the Nepalese “victim”, Subrat Kumar Rimal, as his Lisbon office cleaner. I wonder how many hours per day are needed to cleana HUGE office of 15 to 20 square metres… of course, there is no doubtwhatsoeverthat Subrat KumarRimal musthave earned a lotof money with the “job”Itshak Reitmann so generously entrusted him with. Anyway, what mattered to Itshak Reitmann was maintaining Subrat Kumar Rima l under his wing. This Nepalese “victim”had a major role to play in the plotdevised by the evil Israeli businessman. Not only was Subrat Kumar Rimal givenclearinstructions to pretend to be a true “victim”ofhuman trafficking, he was also asked to persuade other foreign workers to head to the police station and, basically,do the same, make up stories that would lead to the incrimination of Fernando Baptista and Jaime Baptista,Agrowork Ldaand, lateron, in part Two of this soap opera, his former partner
  • 6. and friend, AharonRony Bargig, and the provisionof agriculture services corporations he created, framed. Of course, the story about the devilish lawyer, Ana Luísa Gonçalves “spontaneously” calling up inspector Rui Bandeira on February 5, 2015 is pure hogwash. The same with the Itshak Reitmann´s account that he only learned in February, 2015 that the so-called Nepalese “victim”, Subrat Kumar Rimal, had been the victim of simple assault and battery by his former top man – Fernando Baptista at T rabsolution Lda – the corporation, I emphasize once again, in which the Israeli evildoer Itshak Reitmann had a 50% share and was co-manager of. This story was nothing more than a decoy. Everything had been carefully staged and choreographed well beforehand. The lawyer, Ana Luísa Gonçalves, had already met inspector Rui Bandeira long before – they were not at all strangers. An evil plot was set up to frame certain persons and corporations. In the end, many 100% innocent people got caught in the crossfire because ofcorruption, persecution and conspiracy promoted by the Portuguese state.A true and degrading case of state-sponsored terrorism. It happens in real life, not just in the movies. On February 18, 2015, two weeks before the first of 3 formal interrogations sessions at the police station, inspector Rui Bandeira signed an internal memo proposing that the Israeli, Itshak Reitmann´s status be changed from prime suspect to witness-complainant based on information, I stress, “obtained informally” during an initial short encounter with this evil Israeli who has had problems with Justice in the Ukraine, Nepal,China, Romania and evenin his own country, Israel. Simply outrageous and downright blasphemous. How does the United Nation Human Rights Office Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons Human Trafficking define Human Trafficking? Article 3 For the purposes of this Protocol: "Trafficking in persons" shall mean the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. (…)” On November 17, 2014, the so-called “victim”, Nepalese national, Subrat Kumar Rimal, stated very clearly, during an interrogation session conducted by inspector Rui Bandeira, that he had met the Israeli, Itshak Reitmann,in Nepal and was able to clearly identify his physical featues. He also claimed that this experienced Israeli recruiter had played a pivotal role in his recruitment to work as a farm labourer in Portugal. Surely, if one suspects the “victim” was subject to human trafficking one would also have to strongly suspect that the Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, may well have played a crucial role. The Nepalese victim,Subrat Kumar Rimal, also stated in very clear terms that he knew that both Israeli T rabsolution Lda shareholders and managers had “problems with Justice in Romania and Canada for similar reasons as those that had given rise to the current investigation”. That would certainly raise a flag with any normal police investigatorthat the two Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, may have a long history of exploitation and human trafficking. But, then again, as we know, Rui Bandeira , is also no “ordinary” inspector. Not at all. When Subrat Kumar Rimal was asked,on November, 2014, who he was felt was responsible for his “terrible” ordeal, this shameful Nepalese criminal masquerading as a “victim” named five people: Fernando Baptista, Jaime Baptista, Itshak Reitmann, Aharon Rony Bargig and Ana Baptista (Fernando´s wife). The 3 Portuguese were detained on July 28, 2015, and maintained in prison under preventive custody for 16 months and are currently awaiting sentencing from court. However, the 2 Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig , who recruited the “victim”from Nepal and jointly signed a declaration stating that their corporation – T rabsolution Lda – was, at the time of the victim´s
  • 7. beating by the defendant, Fernando Baptista, the employer of Subrat Kumar Rimal, were totally ignored during the police investigation. From October 2014 onwards, the former Israelis friends and business partners split up and went their separate ways. Aharon Rony Bargig was the driving force behind the establishment of several corporations with several different business partners – Jobsquad Lda, Inno-Versatile Solutions Lda, Followmorning Lda and Bestjob Lda – while the other Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, established a corporation named SNR Solutions Lda together with a fellow countryman named Shlomi Jones. All of the corporations were set up to provide manpower solutions to Portuguese agriculture businesses. While their bitter enemies – Fernando Baptista and James Baptista and their wives (respectively, Ana Baptista and Vera Sampaio) – unjustly languished in jail for a crime they DID NOT commit, and the number one provision of agriculture services corporation – Agrowork Lda put out of business through the work of an evil conspiracy, the two Israelis could now begin their takeover of the provision of manpower for agricultural services market. It is important to bear in mind that the Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig, were not on equal footing. Inspector Rui Bandeira contacted exclusively with Itshak Reitmann – it was Itshak Reitmann thatinspectorRui Bandeira considered as his clientbecause itwas he who made the bribe payments. Also, Ana Luísa Gonçalves, the lawyer who had helped Itshak Reitmann establish a connection with inspector Rui Bandeira, had broken ties with Aharon Rony Bargig, working exclusively the for Itshak Reitmann and his newly established corporation, SNR Solutions Lda . Finally, and very importantly, Itshak Reitmann had been converted by inspector Rui Bandeira´s “magic wand”, from top suspect to prime witness, complainant, collaborator (and, in practice, co- inspector and co-conspirator). The other Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig was still, formally (only on paper, of course), if not in practice, a suspect in the ongoing police investigation. At this point, it´s important to add one vital detail:one of the corporations AharonRony Bargig had established after parting ways with his former employees, now bitter enemies, Fernando and James Baptista and his former business partner and countryman, Itshak Reitmann, named Jobsquad – Trabalho Temporário Lda , together with the partners he had teamed up with to create this new provisionof manpowerto farms and temporary work agency business, the Bangladeshi, Ashikur Rahman, and the Portuguese, Marcelo Araújo,had beenformally designated suspects in the investigation as early as March, 2015. It´s extemely likely that the corporation Jobsquad – T rabalho T emporário Lda became a formal suspect in the fake investigation into human trafficking because inspector Rui Bandeira´s client, key witness and former top suspect in the investigation (sound outrageous, but it´s true!), Itshak Reitmann tipped him off, informing the inspector of what his former Israeli business partner and co-manager at T rabsolution Lda , Aharon Rony Bargig, was up to. Since March, 2015, inspector Rui Bandeira and his team had collected and recorded a huge number of intercepted calls from a wide array of people connected and collaborating with Jobsquad Lda and NEVER took any actionagainst the corporation Jobsquad Lda, the man at the helm, Aharon Rony Bargig or, for that matter, anyone else directly or indirectly connected to Jobsquad Lda´s activities. Some of the intercepted calls (from March to July, 2015) referred to situations of overcrowded housing, arrears, shortage of beds and mattresses, poorliving conditions, workers claiming to be hungry and neglected, etc, etc. However, Rui Bandeira and his team not once visited the farms, the overcrowded houses, tried to take pictures, obtain recordings, gather testimonies and other facts, or in any way obtain more detailed information or take action to discover,in loco, what those intercepted calls could add to the investigation. Like I referred earlier, the entire backbone of the former T rabsolution Lda team (8 people, who, had later moved to Agrowork Lda) were placed and maintained in custody because of the
  • 8. suspicion they were responsible for trafficking the fake Nepalese “victim” of human trafficking , Subrat Kumar Rimal, but the formal owners and managers of T rabsolution Lda – the two Israelis, Itshak Reitmann and AharonRony Bargig ,who had recruited and who were responsible for Subrat Kumar Rimal´s arrival in Portugal - continued going about business completely oblivious to the ongoing investigation. One of the Israelis, Itshak Reitmann, had surprisingly been converted to “witness-complainant” by the police inspector he had hired, but the other, Aharon Rony Bargig, was one of the top suspects in the ongoing investigation – one of the “group of five” prime suspects named by the so- called phoney Nepalese “victim”, Subrat Kumar Rimal, during his interrogation sessions, conducted by inspector Rui Bandeira, in late November 2014. Aharon Rony Bargig´s phone calls and his every move were being officially monitored by the investigation team led by inspector Rui Bandeira (they had loads of information about him and Itshak Reitmann), however, he NEVER received a call or notification from anyone connected to the investigation to make statements or undergo interrogation. Unexplainingly, Aharon Rony Bargig, was left at peace and completely ignored, along with everyone else collaborating or connected to the Jobsquad Lda team because he and all these individuals whose phone calls were being intercepted and recorded were benefitting from what can be fairly labelled as “extended protection coverage”by inspectorRui Bandeira and his client, the infamous Israeli, Itshak Reitmann. But, the honeymoon was soon to come to an end. The new provisionof manpower and agricultural services corporationestablished on 2015.01.06 by Itshak Reitmann – SNR Solutions Lda (just a few days after creation of Jobsquad Lda - the corporation spearheaded by his former friend and business partner, Aharon Rony Bargig), although fully aware of it´s existence, was completely ignored by the police investigation conducted under the leadership of inspector Rui Bandeira . SNR Solutions Lda was setup for exactly the same purpose, targeted precisely the same clients, did exactly the same things and had exactly the same “modus operandi”and “modus faciendi” as T rabsolution Lda, Agrowork Lda, Ampliservice Lda, Jobsquad Lda and Followmorning Lda, but, inspector Rui Bandeira decided that SNR Solutions Lda would not be investigated. What reason did inspector Rui Bandeira provide for this decision? He wrote a memo stating that “SNR Solutions Lda had been legally established by Itshak Reitmann together with a person called named Shlomi Jones and, as such, would not, for the time being, be the object of inquiry in the current investigation”. It´s as simple as that. But, hold on a second? Weren´t all the other corporations legally established too? Am I missing something? I know it may hard to believe, but it´s absolutely true. SNR Solutions Lda would never in a million years be investigated because the owner and manag er of the corporation, Itshak Reitmann, had hired inspector Rui Bandeira to provide him with protection. Tragic, terrible, but, sadly, true! A few months after the detention and imprisonment of all of Agrowork Lda´s major players and the complete decimationof the coporation,Aharon Rony Bargig fell out of fortune with his former friend and business partner, Itshak Reitmann.Notonly did Aharon Rony Bargig fall out of fortune with his former friend and business partner, he became Itshak Reitmann´s worstenemy and most hated person on earth. A hate so visceral, that it defies description. Without indulging too much into details,it´s reasonable to believe that Itshak Reitmann´s extreme hatred stemmed from the fact that Jobsquad Lda, the corporation effectively managed by his new worst enemy, Aharon Rony Bargig, had become tremendously more successful than SNR Solutions Lda – the corporation established by Itshak Reitmann. SNR Solutions Lda never emerged from the shadows and, for all purposes, it was an utter failure. Also, Itshak Reitmann believed that his former Israeli friend and partner, Aharon Rony Bargig, was still secretly collaborating with the traitors and former bitter enemies, Fernando and James Baptista, not only by trying to carve up the Portuguese provision of manpower and agricultural
  • 9. services marketbetweentheir corporations, but also by managing international job orders ontheir behalf. Itshak Reitmann blewhis top, especially whenhe learned that he had beenexcluded from a share of the huge pie that international recruitment and placement initiatives represent. He simply could not accept this. Itshak Reitmann is an Israeli, that perfectly fits the stereotype of the typical avaricious, greedy, money-hungry Jew. To this unbelievably wicked Israeli, money is God. International recruitment is an enormous source of income. Both Aharon Rony Bargig and Itshak Reitmann had earned a lot of money in the past undertaking these activities – it is something they were quite familiar with. Itshak Reitmann believed he was entitled to a piece of the pie – the money Aharon Rony Bargig was set to earn from recruiting workers from the Indian subcontinent for Agrowork Lda.However, Aharon Rony Bargig totally disagreed with his former partner and Israeli counterpart. He made it clear he would not share a penny with Itshak Reitmann. Sometime around October2015,atLisbon´s airport, when tensions between the two Israelis were particularly high and before departing to Israel, Itshak Reitmann, warned his Israeli counterpart, Aharon Rony Bargig , that if he didn´t pay him an unspecified, but unquestionably large sum of money, that Itshak Reitmann felt he was entitled to, he would give instructions to inspector Rui Bandeira to do to Aharon Rony Bargig the same as he had done with Fernando and James Baptista and the whole Agrowork Lda team (all those who had previously worked for Trabsolution Lda).Translation: find of way of detaining, putting him in jail and charging him with crimes related to human trafficking. Aharon Rony Bargig did not take his former friend and business partner´s warning seriously – he dismissed it as nonsense. He simply refused to believe that someone he had known for so many years, since childhood, someone that had been his partner and good friend, could stoop so low. But, this proved to be just another of the long collection of misjudgements Aharon Rony Bargig has made in his lifetime. However, this misjudgement had extremely serious consequences for him and for many other completely innocent“bystanders” who were caught in the crossfire. It was at this point that the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig , lost his unofficial “immunity” and suffered a complete reversal of fortune – in the negative sense. Yes, Itshak Reitmann did indeed give inspectorRui Bandeira instructions to carry out part Two of his mission. And, inspector Rui Bandeira complied – it was all just a question of setting the bribe. However, the second missionthe Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, assigned to Rui Bandeira was farmore demanding than the first one. The main difficulties were the lack of time, the poortiming and the need to backtrack. If actionwas to be taken against Aharon Rony Bargig , and the wide array of collaborators and provision of manpower and agricultural services corporations he was connected to, it should have been done a long time ago. If inspector Rui Bandeira had ever imagined he would be given the mission of finding a way of detaining, jailing and incriminating Aharon Rony Bargig and, putting Jobsquad Lda corporation out of business, he would have followed up on the large collection of intercepted and recorded phone conversations they had gathered long before, shortly after the so -called police “investigation” began. What concrete proof or evidence could be put forward now besides, essentially, intercepted phone calls? In retrospect, looking at it coldly and objectively, it was an unquestionably bad decision for inspector Rui Bandeira to have accepted the bribe to carry on with the phoney police “investigation”. He must have really needed the money to solve personal issues to have accepted the bribe to carry out mission number two – a mission that wasn´t initially planned or rehearsed and, as developments would demonstrate, destined to fail. Although the evidence and the formal accusation that could have been levied against Fernando and Jaime Baptista,Agrowork Lda and the entire backbone ofthis corporationwere extraordinarily weak and stood an extremely slim chance of resulting in a guilty verdict in court, at least there was a very small connection to reality.
  • 10. However, when inspector Rui Bandeira tried to fit in Aharon Rony Bargig, Jobsquad Lda, Followorning Lda and a wide host of other suspects into the same process, all contact with reality was lost. The whole case, the charges, the accusation became nothing less than a wild and extravagant fantasy – more surreal than a blockbuster Bollywood movie. Both conspirators, inspector Rui Bandeira and Itshak Reitmann understood thatthe case against the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig, the person Itshak Reitmann (his former friend and business partner) wished so intensely to see incriminated and jailed, was extraordinarily weak.It was crystal clearthat no actions had beencommitted that could reasonably lead anyone to suspectof human trafficking. But, for a number of reasons, there was no possibility of initiating a new police investigation – a way had to be found to “fit” the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig, along with all the individuals and corporations directly or indirectly linked to him, into the ongoing investigation – code name “processs 576/14.5 GEALR ”. Itshak Reitmann requested and pressured foreign workers working at his corporation – SNR Solutions Lda – to head to the police station where inspector Rui Bandeira would receive and interrogate them. They were instructed to make up stories about being mistreated, abused, cheated, etc., anything that could help build a case and, eventually, lead to the incrimination and incarceration of the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig. Itshak Reitmann asked the foreign workers of Asian descent to speak with friends and ask them to collaborate in these efforts. Of course, all these foreign workers of Asian descent were offered money or jobs or both to provide false testimony against the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig. The predominant cultural practices, norms and values, as well as the general mentalities of the people raised in Indian subcontinent countries is radically different than those prevalentin the Western world. The foreign workers of Asian descent are terrified of the authorities. They would never take part in these criminal games if they did not have something to gainfrom it or, if they stood the chance of losing something important to them if they refused to “cooperate”, like, for example, their jobs. Despite their enormous efforts, inspector Rui Bandeira and the wickedly evil Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, were not at all successful. The vast majority of the foreign workers they tried to encourage or coerce to provide false testimony refused to do so. On one hand, they were simply too terrified at the prospectand consequences ofbeing caught lying under oath and, on the other hand, they refused to testify against Aharon Rony Bargig and the individuals and corporations linked to him because they were not going to incriminate those who had delivered what was promised and treated them well. On 2016.04.11, inspector Rui Bandeira produced a long report of 146 pages with outrageous baseless assumptions and lies in which he proposed that search and arrest warrants be issued against, no more and no less, than an additional 24 additional individuals and corporations. The names: Nr Individuals Nr Corporations 1 Aharon Rony Bargig (Israeli) 1 Global Workers Lda 2 Marcelo Machado de Araújo 2 Canteiros Divertidos Lda 3 Philip Aparício Oliveira 3 Fabulous Figure Confecções Lda 4 Amit Seghal (Indian) 4 Barreiro Alves e Machado Araújo – Produtos Agrícolas Lda 5 Ramneet Singh (Indian) 5 Singh, Machado e Guerreiro - Produtos Agrícolas Lda 6 Ashikur Rahman (Bangladeshi) 6 Jobsquad – Trabalho Temporário Lda. 7 Sharad Gurung (Nepalese) 7 Followmorning Lda 8 Rahul Bhardwaj (Indian) 8 Pedro Daniel Rodrigues da Costa Unipessoal Lda 9 Niraj Subedi (Nepalese) 9 DearLadies – Indústria Têxtil e Confecções, Unipessoal Lda 10 Mário Jorge Figueiredo Godinho 10 Pódiovioleta Lda
  • 11. 11 Bruno Miguel Leal Lourenço 12 Pedro Daniel Rodrigues da Costa 13 Amândio César Guedes da Silva 14 Jorge Manuel Freitas Ferreira On May 31, 2016,at 7 am sharp , dozens of inspectors armed with warrants stormed the homes, offices and factories of the individuals and corporations listed in the table mentioned above. A group of 4 individuals was detained and placed under preventive custody in a Lisbon jail, including, the “most wanted man”,the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig.More would have beenjailed, but, at the time the police acted on the warrants, they were outside Portugal. The scene played out when the team of police inspectors barged into Aharon Rony Bargig´s house, was reminiscent of a passage in the New Testament, Book of Matthew, 27:46 “About the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice,«Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?» which means, «My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?»” The Israeli, AharonRony Bargig ,totally unaware and completely takenby surprise, was frantically running around the house asking the inspectors, one by one, “Rui?”, “Are you Rui?”, “Who is Rui?”,“Where is Rui?”. At the police station, he continued to ask to speak with only one inspector that he knew went by the name “Rui”. The police inspectors taunted him, assuring him that he would have his chance to speak with Rui. “Rui”, of course, was inspector Rui Bandeira.Although the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig, had not met or dealt with the inspector himself - that task belonged to his former partner and now his most bitter enemy, Itshak Reitmann – Aharon Rony Bargig was fully aware and a party to the fact that his former friend and partner, Itshak Reitmann had bribed an inspector to frame their former T rabsolution Lda employees – Fernando and Jaime Baptista and destroy Agrowork Lda, the corporation these two brothers had established. The one thing he knew and clearly revealed is that the inspector´s name was “Rui” – and, indeed it was. He was crying out for “Rui”ina vainattempt to understand why inspector Rui Bandeira had turned against him when he had been bribed by Itshak Reitmann (and, also by Aharon Rony Bargig because, initially, he was fully aware and active party in the plot) to incriminate the Baptista brothers, not him or his corporations. If Rui Bandeira could´ve replied he would have, at that time. told the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig, “Dear Aharon! Dear Aharon! Please forgive me for my betrayal, but the Devil´s temptation was too powerful for me to resist!” The truth is, this would be comical, were it not so deeply and unequivocally tragic for so many people, families and corporations. The 4 detained and jailed suspects stood before the famous Portuguese pre -trial judge, Carlos Alexandre, in the first days of June, to undergo preliminary interrogations based on the findings presented by the GPP – findings 100% based oninformation passed up by inspector Rui Bandeira and his team. The pre-trial judge had already made up his mind – he is just a cog in the machine, a part of the “system” he belongs and pays homage to. Regardless ofthe worthiness of the findings, there was no way judge Carlos Alexandre was going to oppose the GPP wishes or intentions. So, obviously, he decided that based on the findings (indicators uncovered by the investigationteam) the 4 suspects should remain jailed in preventive custody. The GPP had approximately, 48 calendar days to meet the deadline to produce a formal accusationagainstthe initial group of suspects, individuals and corporations,4 of which remained in jail, under preventive custody, since July, 28, 2015 AND somehow find a way of fitting 24 new suspects in the same accusation because the investigation file number was the same for all of them. Hadn´t inspector Rui Bandeira taken on more than he could handle?!
  • 12. The formal accusation, put forward on 2016.07.20 (approximately one week before deadline), provided the answer to the previous question: inspector Rui Bandeira had unquestionably taken on far more than he could handle. The accusation was an absolute disaster! A wild fantasy, an incredible display of uncontrolled imagination detached from any connection with reality, a delirium, an act of reckless and gross irresponsibility, a vile and shameful display of the darkest side of the Portuguese criminal justice system. It is so, so awful, so poor, so brainless and injudicious, so downright stupid, that it defies any efforts at classification. As the saying goes,“it´s easier to catch a liar than a lame dog ”.Fortunately, the truth always come to light sooneror later, just as surely as olive oil eventually rises to the surface when mixed with water. Everyone has a weak spot. Itshak Reitmann´s weak spotwas the dependency and trust he had placed in the Nepalese manpower agent, Sharad Gurung. The Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, desperately needed the Nepalese manpower agent Sharad Gurung´s close cooperation for a number of reasons. One reason is that he needed a manpower agent in Nepal that could provide assistance in obtaining a visa that would enable the case´s prime victim´s son to come to Portugal. The Nepalese “victim” (in reality, co-conspirator), Subrat Kumar Rimal, whose testimony and ordeal was the quintessential elementof the accusation, said he would sign anything the fiendish Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, asked him to if one condition was met: “First, bring my one son to Portugal”. Now, this is damning evidence that something very promiscuous indeed is going on. Another strong reasonfor the dependency and,as we will shortly examine, misplaced trust in the Nepalese agent, Sharad Gurung, was Itshak Reitmann belief that this agent could provide the investigation with damning evidence against his arch-enemy, Aharon Rony Bargig. Concrete evidence that could eventually lead to the incrimination and consequential incarceration of the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig, for a number of years – an objective which Itshak Reitmann was madly obsessed with. It must also be said that Itshak Reitmann had been working in partnership with Nepalese manpoweragent, Sharad Gurung , for many years in the international recruitment business. However, the Nepalese manpower agent, Sharad Gurung, also got caught up in the crossfire during the second mission that the Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, had instructed his co-conspirator, inspector, Rui Bandeira, to carry out. He was also considered a prime suspect and there was a possibility he could actually be charged with the crimes of human trafficking, employment fraud and criminal associationalong with the others in the very long list of suspects in this fraud -inspired police investigation. According to the police investigation “findings” (in reality, malicious inventions) the Nepalese manpower agent, Sharad Gurung, had teamed up with Israeli prime suspect and “most wanted man”inthis investigation, Aharon Rony Bargig,to establisha bridge betweenNepal and Portugal that would allow Nepalese workers to come to Portugal for the purpose of labour exploitation and human trafficking (this story is so absurd, that it´s impossible to keep a straight face while writing this). As one can observe in the English version of accusation presented by the GPP, Nepalese manpower agent, Sharad Gurung,is pictured as being Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig´s partner:
  • 13. Nepalese manpoweragent, Sharad Gurung, and Israeli businessman, Aharon Rony Bargig, are depicted as working in close partnership throughout the entire accusation. Not once is Aharon Rony Bargig´s formerbusiness partner at T rabsolution Lda,the Israeli evildoer,Itshak Reitmann, ever mentioned, in the accusation, as having any connection whatsoever to the Nepalese manpower agent, Sharad Gurung , or having any role in the international recruitment taking place at that moment. You would think these two were men were complete strangers. Nothing could be further from the truth! The fiendish Israeli recruiter and conspirator; Itshak Reitmann, was as well acquainted, orevenbetter acquainted, with the formally accused Nepalese manpower agent, Sharad Gurung, as his former business partner turned arch-enemy, Aharon Rony Bargig . Sharad Gurung being named a suspect (and later, accused) created serious problems for the Israeli, Itshak Reitmann. Who else would assist the evil Itshak Reitmann in obtaining a visa for the Nepalese prime victim´s,Subrat Kumar Rimal, son?SubratKumarRimal had madeitperfectly clearthat he would only play the role of “victim” in the conspiracy devised by Itshak Reitmann and made possible by inspector Rui Bandeira, onthe condition that Itshak Reitmann bring his one son to Portugal. If Itshak Reitmann was unable to fulfill his promise to the prime witness, the whole case could crumble and, evenworse, the whole conspiracy could be exposed. This was a serious threat. Also, the Nepalesemanpoweragent, Sharad Gurung, had informed Itshak Reitmann, that he had strong and concrete evidence (documentation) that could be decisive in framing, incriminating and, eventually, incarcerating the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig – the person Itshak Reitmann most hated in the world. If considered a suspect or accused in the police investigation, the Nepalese manpower agent, Sharad Gurung , would never risk flying to Portugal, meeting up with Rui Bandeira and submitting the concrete documentary evidence against the Israeli, Aharon Rony Bargig. Finally, Itshak Reitmann had no intention of putting and end to international recruitment business activities that he has been involved in for approximately 20 years. He desperately depended on the Nepalese manpower agent, Sharad Gurung, to carry on with business in Nepal. Nepal has always been Itshak Reitmann´s favourite country from which to source employers from wealthier nations in need of foreign workers because the fees that can be obtained from Nepalese candidates are considerably higher than in other countries. Sharad Gurung being drawninto the court case in Portugal could seriously hamper the Nepalese manpoweragent´s ability to carry on with business as usual, which, of course, could be damaging to Itshak Reitmann´s bottom line – which is what matters most to this extraordinarily evil, greedy, money-hungry Israeli crook. For the reasons mentioned above,Itshak Reitmann, went running to his co-conspirator, inspector Rui Bandeira, and once again, requested help in finding a fix for this nagging problem. And, once again, inspector Rui Bandeira, agreed to do all within his power to assist his cherished client in overcoming this obstacle. It is important to not lose sight of the fact that inspector Rui Bandeira was, very likely, well aware that the investigation he conducted was, quite frankly, a disaster. Any information or evidence he could obtain that would strengthen and add credibility to the accusation would be more than welcome. If this mega police investigation doesn´t result in convictions it could be extremely damaging to this corrupt inspector´s career at his agency. As incredible as it may seem, inspectorRui Bandeira, wrote a memo to the magistrate overseeing the investigation stating that he received a call from Itshak Reitmann, from a phone number with Italian international dialing code, and that the Israeli had informed him that he ha d a Nepalese “friend” named Sharad Gurung that had strong evidence against Aharon Rony Bargig;evidence that he was willing to speak with the inspector about and bring with him to Portugal. However, Itshak Reitmann´s “friend”, Sharad Gurung, was reluctant to come to Portugal because he feared he would be detained upon arrival.
  • 14. Inspector Rui Bandeira writes in the memo that he informed Itshak Reitmann that he did not have the power to provide any assurances that the latter´s “friend” Nepalese manpoweragent,Sharad Gurung, would not be detained by the authorities, but that he would put the situation to the consideration of those in command. Finally, at the end of the memo, inspector Rui Bandeira, declares that he gave instructions to the witness Itshak Reitmann to call again next week to learn if an answer was available. Dear God! Now, this is promiscuity taken to a scandalous level. Rui Bandeira´s attempt to meet his client´s request, this time, did not meet with success. It was simply too late in the ball game. The following emails that Itshak Reitmann shared with his trusted manpower partner in Nepal, Sharad Gurung, which I had the good fortune of having access to, leave virtually no room for doubts about the true purpose of the fraudulent police investigation into a purported case of human trafficking, led by the corrupt inspector, Rui Bandeira . The phoney Nepalese prime “victim”, Subrat Kumar Rimal, would always update his co- conspiratorand former employerintwo different corporations, Israeli Itshak Reitmann, aboutwhat was going on with the investigation: In the following email, the phoney Nepalese prime “victim”, Subrat Kumar Rimal, claims he is willing to sign “anything” that his employer, the Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, asks him to sign on one condition: bring my one son to Portugal. If Itshak Reitmann promises to do this he will be willing to play the part of “victim” in the evil conspiracy:
  • 15. In the following email, the phoney Nepaleseprime “victim”, Subrat Kumar Rimal, sends a copy of his son´s passport to Itshak (a.k.a. “Itsik”) Reitmann by email for him to deliver on what he had promised. As always, Itshak Reitmann, forwards the email and attachment to his international recruitment partner in Nepal, the defendant, Sharad Gurung, asking him to read and call him to provide further details (most likely, to emphasize to keep it confidential and how urgent it was):
  • 16. Finally, the following email is a display ofthe close collaborationand complicity that characterizes the relationship between inspector, Rui Bandeira, and his Israeli client and co-conspirator, Itshak Reitmann.
  • 17. Many more emails that prove, without any reasonable doubt, that the whole police investigation on alleged human trafficking in Portugal was nothing more than an evil pretext, a meticulously orchestrated fraud, a monumental sham, a terrible hoax, shameful trick, a willful and deliberate act of persecution, a carefully prepared and executed conspiracy promoted by the Portuguese State to incriminate innocent persons and corporations, can be provided – but, surely these 4 emails speak volumes and go a long way to revealing the truth behind the massive and monstrous lie. Everyone knows that 1+1=2 or that 2+2=4. It´s as simple as that. Things add up. In very generic terms, the GPP bases the accusation on the belief that a wide array of actors of various nationalities and backgrounds, stationed in Portugal and in Indian subcontinental countries put a planin motion and worked in collusionfor the purpose ofrecruiting, by way of false and fraudulent promises regarding employmentconditions, unwary foreignworkers, primarily from Nepal,India, Pakistan and Bangladesh,to Portugal, where, upon arrival, they would become the victims of abuse, exploitation and human trafficking. T his assumption is outrageously false. At least 95% of the workforce of the accused corporations - those that provided manpower services to Portuguese farm businesses made up entirely of foreign workers – travelled to Portugal uninvited, voluntarily, spontaneously, deciding entirely on their own, and under their exclusive and totally free initiative, from other European nations. One may ask “How and why did these individuals of Asiandescentcome to or arrive in Portugal?”. Because virtually ALL of them had arrived in Europe by way of Schengen visas (short-stay or tourist visas) issued by other Schengen zone countries. EU is, basically, borderless, so anyone
  • 18. can travel freely to any Schengen country they please. The foreign workers of Asian descent headed to Portugal with one objective in mind – apply for and obtain Residence Permit. Portugal, to the best of my knowledge, was the only EU country with an exceptional backdoor alternative which enabled foreign workers to obtain the Residence Permit they so desperately desired. Two essential conditions had to be met: 1) they were required to demonstrate that they had arrived legally inPortugal and, 2) had also worked legally inthe country for, at least, 6 months. Workers of Asian descenthave strong connections across Europe. News spreads like wildfire by word of mouth. They knew, from what they had been told by friends who had trod the same path, well before making the trek to Portugal, that practically the only activity where they, as foreign workers, could realistically find employment, was as general farm labourers. So, upon arrival in Portugal, they headed directly to the offices of the accused provision of manpower and agricultural services corporations and submitted applicationforms along with the necessary documentation. If they weren´t called up immediately, they would phone and visit the offices of these corporations insistently, pleading for employment. The quicker they became employed and the employerbeganmaking the required Social Security deductions, the faster they would attain of 6 months of paid employmentwhich would allow them to submit an applicationfora Residence Permitatthe Immigration and Borders service authorities – the grand purpose theirdecisionto travel to Portugal. The corporations neverdeceived, recruited or collected foreign workers of Asiandescent – it was the foreign workers that would continuously bang at the door, pleading for work. However, it was a legitimate trade-off. In exchange for employment, without which the foreign workers could not become eligibleto apply for the muchly desired Residence Permit, they would be willing to accept backbreaking work in agriculture. The accused provision of manpower and agricultural services corporations profited from supplying manpower to the Portuguese farms by pocketing whatever was left over after paying salaries, as well as all other expenses. The employers were well aware that the large majority of the workers would leave the company shortly after receiving the Residence Card – this was part and parcel of the unwritten rules of engagement. Certainly, many things did not go as planned or as was intended. On certain occasions, it was extremely difficult, next to impossible, to find housing, which led to foreign workers living in overcrowded and inadequate conditions fora short period of time. This did not happen with all the workers – only with a small number, in sporadic, time-limited situations. Also, a considerable number of farm businesses would not pay the corporations for the manpower services provided according to what had been stipulated in the written agreement, which often led to payments not being made in a timely fashion and, consequentially, workers receiving salaries behind schedule. Also, due to disorganization, poor planning and, quite frankly, bad management, transportation coordination to and from work locations was poorand, at times, they were not enough beds and mattresses or the ideal number of washrooms in the places of accommodation. Also, given the very nature of agriculture, workers would often work long hours – but never were they threatened or coerced to do so,ifit was againsttheir wishes. Sometimes, salaries were processed incorrectly, but, when this happened, mistakes were corrected. It´s important reiterate that these situations were not the norm, but the exception. But, they did occur – it wasn´t all a bed of roses. It´s very tough business. Albeit, as anyone with a minimal understanding of what human trafficking will agree, the context, situations and incidents characterized in the preceding paragraphs are not even remotely connected to human trafficking. The foreign labourers were working voluntarily for their employers, they were never subject to physical, verbal or psychological mistreatment or abuse, never in any way humiliated or their dignity in any way blemished, they were never threatened, scammed orcoerced inany fashion or forced in any manner, or at any time, to remain with the employer; they were never locked up or trapped, much to the contrary, they were always as free as wild birds – their freedom was never, in any way, subject to constraint.
  • 19. In fact, they very often changed employers and left from one day to the next without any prior notice. In such situations, their employers could have applied a penalty for abandonment of the job without paying notice to the advance warning required by law, but never did so. The foreign workers were in possessionof legal employment contracts, always had the personal documents with them (passports, residence cards, etc), usually possessed high-quality smartphones with internet connection and were allowed to move around in absolute freedom and speak with whomever they pleased, whenever they pleased (except during work hours) personally or by phone. They were never forced to work, especially if they were injured or ill. If they required medical assistance, the employer would take them to the nearest health centre or hospital and assist them in whatever way possible. Whatever they needed, was provided. They were treated as workers should be treated - as collaborators. They were the most valuable assets to these corporations because without skilled workers, their employers would be unable to provide quality service to their clients (agribusinesses). If worker performance was poor, this carried the serious risk of the clients looking elsewhere for the farm labourers who could perform well. Quality farm labourers are noteasily found. It was in the employers´greatinterestto appease the workers and do all within their power to motivate and retain them, as well as avoiding losing them to their direct competitors. They were never isolated or taken advantage of or in a situation of particular vulnerability. They were always alternatives in the labourmarket and competitionfor good performing farm labourers was stiff. Sometimes, when payment of salaries was delayed, groups of foreign farm labourers would decide to strike in the morning without warning, leaving the employer and the farmer in a desperate situation. As soon as their demands were, at least, partially met, they would resume work in the fields or greenhouses picking and harvesting fruits and vegetables (usually within 2-3 hours). Everything solved through peaceful and civilized dialogue and negotiations. Nobody was hurt, threatened fired or in any way persecuted after striking. It´s as if nothing had happened. Even inspector Rui Bandeira himself testified in court, that ALL the workers he had interrogated or encountered during his investigation had their documents on them, cellphones with internet connection and never complained of having their freedom restricted of being subject to any meaningful mistreatment. How could the GPP have allowed this senseless police investigation to have it´s day in court? Well, the truth may lie, largely, in the need for numbers. And, also because of general cross- organizational concerns with assessment, career advancement and promotions of agents and agencies assigned with the task of monitoring and combatting the so-called human trafficking “plague”. Portugal has been under pressure from international organizations (for example, US Department of State) to step up it´s efforts in combatting human trafficking. Although I find it highly dubious,Portugal has beenidentified as a key transit point or final destinationof human trafficking victims. This investigation and formal charges laid against a whopping 35 individuals and corporations would go a long way to improving statistics and creating the impressionthat Portugal was making progress on combatting human trafficking! Any concerns with the possibility that ALL of the accused of the crimes may, in reality, be “victims” would, unfortunately have to take a back seat. That´s just the way it is. An horrendously fraudulent accusation, put forward by the GPP; so many innocent people and corporations being charged for crimes that never existed; a formal accusation structured upon completely unfounded and baseless assumptions. A sadistic, shameful and groundless attempt to links facts and episodes totally unrelated and disconnected in a desperate, futile and failed attempt to come up with a story that could, somehow, some way, appear realistic. For the purpose of comparison, it´s like a private detective finding a married woman at a café talking to an unknown male in a perfectly normal fashion and then reporting to the lady´s husband that his wife is having an affair! However, the accusation levied against all these defendants is evenworse because itis based largelyonevents that never took placeand mindlessassumptions
  • 20. that are taken as facts. But, then again, this never had anything to do with human trafficking in the first place, right?! Human trafficking is an extremely serious and particularly heinous crime, which makes this whole plot far more sinister. The lawyer, Ana Luísa Gonçalves, hookedhertwo clients (Trabsolution Lda owners and managers),Israelis, ItshakReitmann and Aharon Rony Bargig,to herfriend, inspector Rui Bandeira from the Polícia Judiciária (PJ).Inspector, Rui Bandeira, allowed himselfto be bribed and established an alliance with the Israeli, Itshak Reitmann, to frame innocent individuals and corporations for crimes they all knew had not been committed – all they wanted was revenge against their former partners – Fernando and Jaime Baptista - for business-related issues. The prime Nepalese “victim” of the investigation, Subrat Kumar Rimal, teamed up with his employerand boss, top suspect converted into key “witness”, Itshak Reitmann, agreeing to play the role of “victim” of human trafficking and, one of the initial conspirators, who went along with the plotbut played a passive role,Israeli Aharon Rony Bargig, became a victim of his own device. All the workings of a best-selling Agatha Christie crime fiction novel, with the notable exception that this is a true story – not fiction. Sometimes, police investigations are unsuccessful because of mistakes, missteps, false leads, negligence, misinformation, poor organization, bad luck, technical failures, incompetence or irresponsibility, etc. None of this was the case with regard to this fraudulent, phoney police investigation. An evil, dirty, sinister, criminal plot was devised and put in motion to frame and ultimately incriminate people and corporations for a crime those in charge of the investigation knew very well, from the start, had neveroccurred. It was an intentional, deliberate, cowardly act thatcaused tremendous and pointless pain, shame and hardship to a large number of innocent individuals, their families and corporations. All 5 of the criminal conspirators deserve eternal damnation. If there is a hell, and I sure hope there is, these people have their places reserved inthat fiery cauldron. What these evil people did is unforgiveable! However, Justice must be served in this world, not the next. For this reason,I will do all within my power to avenge this horrific act of injustice that has befallen my many innocent friends charged with crimes they did not and would never commit. An anonymous denunciation of this scandalous attempt to frame and incriminate innocent individuals and corporations was submitted by way of the General Prosecutor of Portugal website. The URL: https://simp.pgr.pt/dciap/denuncias/index2.php Will they actually carry out an investigation or inquiry that will force them to investigate devious and criminal actions and decisions made by agents and magistrates that work within or that are closely to the Central Department of Criminal Inquiry and Investigation?? Or will this anonymous denunciation simply be downplayed, ignored, out on the she lf, archived and forgotten as so often happens in this otherwise marvelous country?? Only time will tell. But, I will be surprised if any steps or measures are taken to seriously look into this horrifically evil act and even less likely are those responsible at risk of facing consequences for their criminal acts. However all can follow up on the steps taken regarding this anonymous denunciation by accessing the URL provided above and inserting the following access key (in Portuguese “Chave de Acesso”):
