Eye Testing Department is headed by Mr. Diluk
Abeygooneratne B.Sc. (Hons. Optometry - UK)
Mr. Ravin Abeygooneratne (Dispensing Optics
UK, Refraction UK) is a Director in the Management
and the Marketing Departments.
Our President Mr. Jayantha Abeygooneratne obtaining the first international membership certificate of F.M.O. (UK) from Mr. Barry
Dibble, Chairman of Manufacturing Opticians, Mr. Malcolm Polly Chief Executive Officer Of F.M.O. is on the extreme right.

Mr. Lionel Abeygooneratne Mr. George Abeygooneratne
George Gooneratne Optometrists are one of the pioneers in eye care industry in Sri Lanka. Our
founder late Mr. George Abeygooneratne opened his first branch in Maradana in 1956 and later
developed by his elder son Late Mr. Lionel Abeygooneratne. Our president Mr. Jayantha
Abeygooneratne was the first to produce fused glass bifocals in 1971. Since then the company
has grown rapidly conquering both wholesale and retail markets in Sri Lanka.

This is the most popular type. Our Mobile unit will visit your company and we will have a mini showroom and
an eye testing program.

Base Eye Camp
We offer the same discounts but your employees have to visit one of our branches to receive them. We
recommend this for a less number of employees and they can enjoy a large selection of frames and a fully
computerized eye testing facility .Your employees can visit leisurely and enjoy the benefits without any
hassle. If your company is paying, we can arrange accordingly. If your organization can come to an
agreement, we can provide you more facilities.
Special Rate
Prices will be around 30% to 40% lower than the regular prices and we will do the eye testing free of charge
for all your employees.
