This document provides instructions for an online English lesson on writing an elevator pitch for a new business idea. The homework assignment asks students to write a 2,400 character response explaining their business idea. During the lesson, the student will read their answer aloud and get feedback from the teacher to improve their grammar, vocabulary and pitch. Finally, the teacher will ask discussion questions to further develop the student's idea and business plan.

Teacher Notes 4 Please structure your lesson as follows: 1. After a brief introduction, ask the student to read his/her homework assignment out loud. Note any grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation errors. 2. Spend 10 minutes helping the student proofread the document. Focus on correcting grammar, sentence structure, and vocabulary. 3. In the final 5 minutes, ask the discussion questions on the following page of this lesson. 4. After the session, please spend 15 minutes proofreading the student’s homework assignment.
