Academic pressure on students is a growing issue due to increasing expectations from families and society in a highly competitive world. The document discusses the sources of academic pressure, including parental expectations, institutional pressure to perform, and anxiety over future career prospects. It notes that childhood is a sensitive time yet students face intense competition and pressure from a young age. While academics are important, the focus should be on developing character rather than just making money. Too much pressure can have negative effects on students' creativity, mental health, and productivity.
2. c
Pressure
:
The Pressure a Student Receives
From Family Or Society That
Causes Stress Over School and
Future Success.
Higher Expectations ,Future
insecurities ,Competition with
everyone & For everyone
Together constitute The Most
Hazardous Pressure ----
ACADEMIC PRESSURE
3. why This Issue Has Been Raised
Today…!
In this fast going world
which is full of competition
and lack of co-
operation….stress is an
obvious phenomenon.
It is not only felt by us but
also by everyone in every
sphere of life and at every
moment. Academic
pressure is most
hazardous one among all
the pressures existing …
4. A A A A ALL AL L
Academics is necessary for
sustainable development. It is
essential to survive but when the
horizon of academics deviates from
the path of “MAN MAKING &
CHARACTER BUILDING” to “MONEY
MAKING” then it becomes an
evil…………
`
BUT WHAT HAS MADE ACADEMICS ITSELF AN EVIL
5. WHY IS IT THE MOST HAZARDOUS
PRESSURE ?
Childhood is Similar to a seed which later took the
form of a plant.
A seed requires Sunlight but not the Scorch of the
Sun, similar is the case with us where a child
requires Guidelines but not the Pressure.
Childhood is the most sensitive and naïve phase
of our life, when we are ready to accept anything
& everything. Facing competition at such an early
stage of life which leads to this pressure is what
makes it the most hazardous one.
6. WHY TO BLAME ACADEMICS??
No choice of preference :- We are bound to trod the trodden path.
There is no space for independent thinking.
Totally theoretical study :- “COMMIT & VOMIT” theory has become
the winning agenda.
”JUDGING A MAN BY HIS FACE IS AS LIKE AS JUDGING A BOOK
BY ITS COVER…”
7. The TEEN PATTI behind this pressure:
Parental pressure
Institutional pressure
कल ्या होगा ?
Make your passion your profession, and work will become a game.
parental institutional कल ्या होगा?
8. Parental pressure:
We consider home as our first
institute and parents as our first
teacher .
From the moment we step out from
the birth cradle ,we are laid up with
expectations of parents and family .
We follow our parents dream rather
than our own.
The most interesting thing is….with
increasing expectations ,the
amount of appreciation decreases.
Everytime we are compared with
some MISHRA JI’S son or someone
else.
10. कल ्या होगा ?
Consciousness about future
leads the basic foundation of
development of pressure.
We live today in a way to
have a secure future.
The basic moto that we follow
is ”study to earn not to learn” .
This wrong perspective of
students is the very cause
which which leads to future
insecurities, stress and
ultimately too much pressure.
11. How we have made it
– too much to handle…
None but we Ourselves play an important role in Making the situation from bad to
worse for ourselves and ultimately are unable to cope up with the Stress.
Having a callous attitude towards academics
Piling up the whole lot of syllabus to be studied Just few days before Exam
Trying to mug up everything
General tendency of going with the crowd, rather than pursuing with the field of
our own interest.
12. “ सा वि्या या विमु्ते ”
Knowledge gives us Happiness & Freedom
from fear whereas Success is a temporary
form of it.
Whenever we hunt For Success and failure,
we simply break up and are overburdened
with pressure to get success.
We create this pressure by our own . Hunt
for the Knowledge & Success will be at
your feet.
13. JOB SECURITY /
COMPETITIVE
EXAMS
-causing pressure
Think of a country consisting of
over 11.3 crore jobless people
spread in 70 million households
and in which for every 1000
vacancies about 2.5 lakh people
appear for competition.
At present we are surrounded with
competition and we could feel in
our daily life the famous theory of
“DARWIN”…….
“SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST”
So to excel in the competition and
for a secure future we give up our
present and live a stressful life for
tomorrow.
