2. Create the ultimate social shopping experience with ShopTab’s SharedDeal

3. Add the Application to your Fan Page
Register your account and you’ll be immediately asked to add the
application to your Fan Page. Select the correct page for the app and it will
immediately show up on your Facebook Fan Page.
4. Configure your Checkout & Payment System
Complete the Checkout tab with your PayPal account information. All you
need is a free standard PayPal account to set this up.
Configure the following:
• Your currency
• Your language
• Turn on/off inventory
control
• Set up any needed
shipping and taxes
5. Add your First Product
Select the Add to Product option and input your information to create a
product listing in your SharedDeal store.
Product Title – put in the name of your product
Price - this is the actual sale price of the item
Retail price (optional) – Will show that you have a
higher retail or suggested price. This will also reflect
the discount against the selling price above.
Description – you many enter as much text as you
need to describe your product.
Shipping Weight (optional) – use this field only if your
PayPal shipping is based upon the weight of your
product.
Initial Quantity (if activated) The Deal Store allows
you to limit the number of sales of your product in the
quantity field. You must set a quantity value greater
than 0 to activate your store when this is activated or
your store will show as sold out.
Display until - You may also set up a timer to stop the
sale based upon a designated timeframe.
Show on page – means that this will appear on your
app page. You may select to show the inventory count
and time left to purchase on the app page.
Upload up to four images and select the Submit
button.
6. Translate the App
Make any modifications to the text in the application to support a different
language or different English text.
7. FAN GATE
SOLD OUT
You can implement a Fan Gate for your Daily Deal
Store. To activate go to Settings/Fan Gate option.
This is the default image that SharecDeal provides
you but we suggest you create a more customized
image for your store.
As soon as your item is sold out or the countdown
clock expires, the sold out image will appear in
your store. You may upload your own graphic for
this image in Store Design.
8. To set up your shipping and tax information you will need to do so in your PayPal admin. Our

For the Daily Deal Store you will need to make sure the shipping is set up to apply to quantity of
products since your customers can purchase multiple quantities. Login to your PayPal admin
and click on My Selling Tools under Profile.
9. Under my Selling Tools you will want to click on Update for the Shipping Calculations.
10. Under Shipping Calculations click the box next to the shipping method you are currently using
for shipping, then click edit.
11. In this edit screen you will want to select the Shipping Method to be based on “By Quantity”
as shown below. Then you can set your shipping rates based on how many products are
purchased. Click on Save Changes and your shipping is set.
12. Now that you have your store up and running you need to start promoting your Daily Deal Store.
The best and easiest way to start your promotion is with the “Promote” feature. This will place
the product on your news feed and your fan’s news feed for purchase on their desktop or on
their mobile phone.
