The pet peeve about rude drivers, grocery shoppers, walkers, etc. You really are not as important as you must think you are and certainly no more worthy of first in line than the rest of us.
1. Don't you hate it when....Line cutters that jump in either when walking or in a
car and have no regard to anyone around them. I was checking out at a
convenience store and while the cashier was finishing up with me another woman
came right up beside me, put her stuff on the counter in front of me, and
proceeded to interrupt our conversation so that she could get waited on now. We
all know that you are way more important and busy than the rest of us, so by all
means jump in front and begin speaking so that the world can see what a self
centered ass you are. Or your in one of the few open lines waiting to check out of
the store when they decide for our convenience to open another lane. As soon as
the cashier puts away the closed sign a person who had just pulled up runs over
and jumps into the newly opened line. Hey Jackwagon, we have been waiting in
these lines for several minutes now and you think you can jump right in and
check out because you were in the right place at the right time. So freaking rude,
look around and notice that you are not the only one in the store and the rest of
us are just as busy as you are. Your walking down the street and infront of you
comes a group of kids that are stretched out across the sidewalk and you would
think that as they approached and saw you walking as well, then they would
move over to the right side. Think again, common courtesy may make a
comeback, but apparently not any time soon. I proceed to walk and surprisingly
am elbow checked as we pass because they infact are not sharing the sidewalk
and don't care that other people are sharing that same road. Just like driving an
automobile, you stay to the right in the U.S. and this goes for walking, biking,
whatever. Move over or get plowed is now the motto.... Rant Over.....
