This document introduces the technique of Embodied Imagination, which was pioneered by Robert Bosnak. Embodied Imagination views dreams and memories as embodied environments that one can re-enter through a hypnagogic state to explore images through feelings, sensations, and multiple perspectives manifested in the body. This leads to profound transformation and has healing effects for those with illnesses, trauma, or blocks. The technique takes dreaming as a paradigm for working with images from memory, dreams, art, and uses questioning to explore these images from a variety of perspectives through embodied awareness.
