The document discusses the results of the learner taking two learning style assessments. In the first, the Discovery Wheel, the learner discovered their strengths were in motivation and testing, while their weaker areas were health, thinking, diversity and memory. They realized the importance of improving in their weaker areas. In the second assessment, the VAK System, the learner identified themselves as both auditory and kinesthetic learners, with room for improvement in visual learning. They concluded it is important to work on developing a balanced approach across all learning styles.

1. Learning Style Discovery wheel

2. This wheel is an accurate picture of my ability as a student because I can discover what kind of student I am and what should I do in future. It’s a picture of how my view, my strengths and weakness as a student and what areas I need to improve. After completing my discovery wheel, I got total score from each category I the highest score in the technology and in the motivation. I got fewer score in the field of health and thinking. My self evaluation surprises me because I am not in technology. The two areas in which I am good at are the motivation and the test. Because I like to be motivated. Motivation energizes me to satisfy physiological or psychological needs and the test makes me to be a conscious enough to achieve my goal. That’s why I like these two areas. I assigned priorities to what I choose to do each day. Moreover, I like to test to know my progress, the areas in which I want to I want to improve are diversity, memory and thinking. I want to concentrate on these areas in order to improve. With a view to establishing myself in Canada I have recover lack of my areas. I should be aware and open minded to understand other cultures and religions. I also want to improve my thinking ability as well as my memory. In order to gain practical values I will be conscious to improve my all levels, before doing discovery wheel it was hidden to me about the weakness of mine. Now I am aware and specific about what are my plans are and what I want to achieve.

4. Regarding my preferences for learning, I discovered that my mood of learning style is kite which refers in mood -1. According to discovery Statement ,my strengths are planning, creating models, defining problems, and developing theories but here I am not hundred percent sure that I am a good learner, , expert in creating model and developing theories. How ever, I try my best to be all of them. I work hard to things done. The graph shows that I am too much vague ideals and lack of practical application. It is true that some time I’m not a logical person. More over, I am an intuitive person. Other people preferred me for organizing information, building conceptual models, testing theories and ideas, designing experiments and analyzing quantitative data. As for example, back home I was secondary school teacher. There I tried to teach my students presenting models, organizing information and experiments. It is a good side for me. Given my preference for learning, I intend to aware about my lacking of my practical application. I have to be awareness learning and mistake. More over, I should have to be sound basis for work and have to follow systematic way in approaching my goal.Finally, I like to express my opinion that after reviewing the description of my prefer learning mode, I come to know what I can take to become a more balanced learner. I should aware making commitment to objectives. In conclusion the charts are accurate conclusion to me.

5. The VAK System The letters VAK which stand for visual auditory and kinesthetic. Visual learning system is a system where you mostly learn by seeing different things such as charts pictures or graphs.Auditory is learning where you learn by hearing. Kinesthetic is a learning style in which learning takes place by the student actually carrying out a physical activity, rather than listening to a lecture or merely watching a demonstration. I evaluate myself by VAK system and can reflect the meaning of VAK. Actually I got 1-2, 2-3 and 3-3. The first one refers visual learning, second one refers auditory learning and third one refers kinesthetic learning.Considering VAK system, I’m both auditory and kinesthetic. I have lacking in visual level learning. I want to be a balanced learner that is why I have to be conscious how to learn from visual system. In conclusion, I should try to learn more and more visual system.
