tunnels and commuter rail, and Information
Technology.

Giving
• We are building the foundation for a true social
capital marketplace.
• This is only possible through the measurement
of both social good, and the risk involved in its
creation.
• SROI is only possible with the cooperation of
both those who create social good and those
who invest in them.
Volunteerism
• CityLab
• A Citylab is a community service, social action,
and/or educational facility where learning
computers and related communications
technologies are available to people who
otherwise might have little or no opportunity to
use or learn to use these technologies.
Finance
• Think Task Rabbit.
• It takes more than just money to connect donors
and non-profits: both are invested in deriving the
greatest possible social benefit from the greatest
possible pool of resources.
• This is only possible through the measurement of
both social good and the risk involved in its
creation; and this is only possible with the
cooperation of both those who create social good
and those who invest in them; in our case, Cisco.
Community
• This development concept, was the first of its
kind in San Francisco, and the United States,
based on Stimulus Funding and Innovative
Challenge Grants.
• The Bay Area project embodies both
entrepreneurial training, and education for both
youth and their parents.
• Elements not originally considered in the Alpha
Project.
