2. Kingdom First
• The Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Heaven is a
foundational concept.
• Jesus preached about the Kingdom over 100 times in the
gospels.
• Our ministry theme for this year is “Kingdom First” using
Matthew 6:33 as our scripture reference.
• “Seek first the Kingdom and all these things will be added unto
you.”
• Kingdom Defined
• Kingdom is defined as a king’s domain. The king is the
embodiment of the kingdom.
• Christ is the King of God’s spiritual Kingdom.
• Therefore , Jesus Christ is the tangible, visible, or physical
expression of the Kingdom of God.
3. Kingdom Explained
• “God’s original plan was always to extend his heavenly
kingdom to earth. That was his original idea.
Secondly, God’s original plan was to influence each one of us
and everything on earth with heaven’s culture and to do it
through his children.
God’s plan was also to establish a colony of heaven on earth. It
is a very simple idea. So; the Bible is really not about a religion;
it is not religion; it is not about rituals; the bible is about a
government policy; it is about a kingdom with a plan to
establish its colony in another place.”
~The Kingdom, Dr. Myles Munroe
4. Two Invisible Kingdoms
• There are two spiritual kingdoms in operation and influence at all
times—The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Satan
• Mankind was created to be totally dependent upon the reality of our
spiritual citizenship. We choose which Kingdom!
• In the Kingdom of God we are ambassadors, Priests, and Kings. (in the
order of Melkisedeck [Heb.,= king of righteousness] , as was Jesus Christ. see Hebrews 7)
• Key Verse: Luke 22:29, KVJ: “And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as
my Father has appointed unto me;”
• The Kingdoms of this world
• C. Peter Wagner Apostle & motivational speaker Lance Wallnau
explains the origin of the 7 Mountains Mandate, in which Christians
seeks to gain influence over the world
systems...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQbGnJd9poc
5. The Kingdoms of this world
• According to Wallnau
• These are the systematic kingdoms of this world. As citizens in
the Kingdom of God, we are to influence these systems:
1. Media
2. Education
3. Economy/Business
4. Government
5. Family
6. Arts & Entertainment
7. Spirituality (Church/Religion)
• These kingdoms represent also spiritual forces that shape and
influence our culture and that prioritizes the agenda of the
nations here on earth.
