get stressed
When we are stressed our time management can get lost
4. And a note about the year end
we know its coming
get prepared
5. Time Management - the key to
efficient working generally
organisation - know what you are doing when
especially if you clerk for more than one parish or
have another role/job
one way is to start with the most important job
doesn't appeal - set the timer and just start with 5
mins or say I'm going to do this for an hour
day, week, month, year.
6. It could be based on deadline, available hours
to work or its calculated impact.
Think do you need extra help and from whom
and a reminder this is not a sign of weakness
Prioritize wisely
7. Time Management
for the year end
clear your diary
allocate a day
prepare throughout March if
you need to
dates of commitee meetings,
PC meetings, meeting with
internal auditor and Annual
Parish Meeting
have what you need ie quiet
8. What is stress?
Stress is our response to harmful situations.
Linked to the limbic systm - fight or flight
During a stress response, your breathing,
blood pressue and heart rate increase
You are getting ready to fight or run away
9. Boundaries - its ok to
say "no"
Take a break
Fresh air and excercise
A great question to ask
is it will it be the end of
the world if...?
Take your holiday
