Nanotechnologies materials prepared:
experiments, videos, Moodle courses
Using nOp platform and materials in
schools: teacher guide + training
Teacher team: 16 confirmed Teachers
Coordinators from 15 countries (AU, BG,
CZ, DK, FI, GR, HR, IL,IT, LT, TK, SP, RO, CZ,
UK)
4 face to face workshops + 12 online
workshops: ~150 teachers trained; 90=
provided feedback via questionnaire
About NanOpinion
One of the objectives
of the FP7 project
Nanopinion is to
explore how to
connect
nanotechnology
subjects to school
curricula and produce
educational materials
for nanotechnology
teaching and learning
in secondary schools.
6. Distilled Nanoideas Contest for schools
Get creative and show us your ideas on nanotechnology –
paint a picture, make a video, write a song – and win a
Nano Tool Kit Box worth €200.
Distilled Nanoideas aims at school teachers and their students who have been
working on nanotechnologies in the classroom and who want to share their
experience and results through art. It is open to secondary school and their
teachers from EU countries or from Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland,
Andorra, Israel, Turkey and the Republic of Macedonia.
Entries to the competition should be submitted online via the Nanopinion website.
The deadline is 15 April 2014. You will find more information, including the

About Go-Lab
What is Go-Lab:
The Go-Lab Project wants to provide teachers and students with access to scientific
instruments (remote & virtual laboratories) to help them, respectively, to enrich
their teaching and have a hands on experience on science. Go-Lab wants to provide
teachers with a federation of good quality laboratories to use within their
classrooms.
Main aim (s):
• Offer students the opportunity to perform personalized scientific experiments
with online labs
• Offer teachers the possibility to enrich their classroom activities with
demonstrations and access to on-line laboratories
