Work Experience
Attended BAE Systems engineering company for the day finding it fascinating and loved
finding out about engineering in a specific field.
Work experience was also carried out during the 21st
and 25th
of May 2007 at Mitre printing,
Waters Road, Kingswood, Bristol. Whilst there it was experienced how products are created
from start to finish and how things are designed all the way through to being printed. This also
helped an understanding be gained of how important marketing is.
Working with children was also experienced when invited to go on year 7 camp as a member
of staff. Responsibilities included helping look after the year 7 pupils and giving instructions,
whilst helping them with some activities when they needed it. This was a benefit from being
on camp helping with children as it helped confidence grow when being in control having
responsibility.
Work experience has also been gained during my time at university as it has enabled the
working life with companies to be understood. This was when undergoing live project briefs
with both Omlet and Zodiac where requirements had to be met and also within a time scale,
ensuring the brief was followed as closely as possible whilst working within a team.
