Notas do Editor
They tend to be highly constructive
Focus on learning. Help you to understand what students don’t understand—can lead to some illuminating discoveries and modification of the things you present or the ways you present them. Also, we will have to be doing this in the future.
Get in the habit
Do they know what a database is? Make sure. Do they understand the difference between the book search and Academic Search? You might find that they do not.Limit to a small number of “real” questions.
Put them in Zoomerang or on paper. Either is fine.
Warn the students that it’s coming—but you don’t have to treat it like a test. Just say—”I’m trying to make sure that I’m explaining everything you need, so if you felt something was unclear, please do say so--please help out people who come after you!”
