Director- ‘A music video director is a director of music videos. The director conceives of a video's
artistic and dramatic aspects while instructing the musical act, technical crew, actors, models, and
dancers. This may or may not be in collaboration with the musical act.’

A music video director is somebody which pretty much calls the shots in what goes on in the making
of a video. They’d decide the basics of what everyone is going to do.
Camera Operator- ‘They make sure they’re using the best lenses and angles for each shot and help
solve problems that can arise with lighting and sound. It is an exciting, fast-paced job and you’ll be
working with lots of other creative people.’

A camera operatoris somebody that films everything that is going to be used in the specific video.
They film different clips then they get edited together to make the video. They have very big
cameras which are very technical.
Sound Recording- ‘The principal responsibility of the boom operator is microphone placement,
usually using a boom pole (or "fishpole") with a microphone attached to the end, his aim being to
hold the microphone as close to the actors or action as possible without allowing the microphone
or boom to enter the camera's frame.’

2. The sound operator is somebody that looks after the sound and the only thing they have to worry
about is the sound and making sure they do not get seen in the camera when trying to capture the
best quality of sound they can. They can also if something sounds dreadful sort it out and edit it.
Lighting technician- ‘Lighting technicians produce the lighting effects for live events such as
theatre, concerts and conferences, or in film and TV productions.’

lighting technician is somebody that looks after the lighting, that chooses what style of lighting to
use and what would specifically suit the music style best.
