A perfume called 'Paper Passion' has been created that is meant to smell like freshly printed paper. The fragrance was developed by Berlin perfume artist Geza Schön for the design magazine Wallpaper based on a concept originally suggested by art publisher Gerhard Steidl. While difficult to capture the dry, greasy smell of printed paper in a perfume, Schön was able to develop a simple formula using ingredients like ethyl linoleate and wood extracts. 'Paper Passion' is packaged in a hollowed out book designed by Karl Lagerfeld who said nothing smells better than freshly printed pages.
