What is Creativity ?
Making the simple complicated is
commonplace; making the complicated
simple, awesomely simple, that's
creativity.
Creativity in Advertising
 Creativity in advertising fulfils psychological,
marketing and corporate requirement of the
consumers.
 Creative advertising adds new perceptions
and enjoyment of the product.
It’s Not Creative Unless It Sells.
 Creative means dramatically showing how a
product fulfills a consumer need.
 It can be as simple as casting the right actor or
character for a brand.
 A unique demonstration of product superiority is
creative.
 If it doesn’t motivate the consumer to do
something or stimulate some part of the brain,
then it doesn’t work.
Why creative Advertisement ?
1.Memorable Ads
 The purpose of an ad is to interest potential
customers in your product and service, and to get
them to remember you. A creative ad sticks out and
increases the likelihood that a customer will recall
information about your company.
 A car wash company in downtown Seattle uses a big
pink elephant as an advertising gimmick.
2.Impressing Customers
 Your advertising should demonstrate that you can
provide worthy content and enjoyment to clients who
want to entertain their guests or draw attention to
their own products and services.
 A clown service that arrives at parties in a colourful,
quirky van, for example, signals to potential
customers that its clowns will be colourful and
entertaining, as well.
3.Likeability
 Creative advertising makes your company likeable,
and this likeability is an important marketing tool.
 An insurance company in the Pacific Northwest has an
ad campaign based on archetypal local personalities,
caricaturing that are typical in the region.
4.Budget
 A creative advertising idea often doesn't cost any more
than a dull one, and it can bring in considerably more
return for your money.
 A bar that hosts an ugly Christmas sweater contest the
week before Christmas.
Advantages Of Creative Advertisement
 Increasing sales
The expenses of advertising may be justified on the ground
that it helps to increase sales, which there by results in
increased production.
 Saving time
Advertising enable the consumers to spend a short
deal of time seeking products to meet his requirements
because he has already been informed about many
standard goods through advertising.
 Prevention of lost sales
Much advertising is aimed at preventing the erosion of its sales
by competitors. So advertising may be regarded as being
“defensive”.
 Introduction the new products
New products can be introduced and popularized in the market
by advertising.
 Creating market attitude
Advertising can create a market attitude for product which
would not otherwise be desired. Thus artificial demand can
be created by exploiting fears.
 Impression the public
Advertisement is considered important branch of business
which impresses the public about the superiority of product.
 Informing consumers
Advertising provides the information to consumers about
the choice, prices, quality and other description of
product at their home, which guides them for quick
decision.
Providing employment
As it helps to create the new demand of the products, it
tends to increase the sales volume of goods. So new
industry will be established and old industry will be
expanded where thousands of persons may be engaged.
