2. Meet the Photographer
As much as I’d like to say that a creative career was always my end
goal, I actually graduated with an Honours degree in Psychology. I
never thought in a million years that I would leave the safety of a
stable job to throw myself into the great unknown that is freelance
photography & graphic design.
Yet, here I am, taking pictures of people and loving every minute of it.
Although psychology and photography might seem very different at
first, I’ve come to realize that they share many important traits. Both
require active listening and a knack for reassuring people, both
benefit from exploring new perspectives and both call for a desire to
help people see the best versions of themselves.
3. Call me Sam!
Photography has allowed me to connect with others
in a way nothing else can and to turn strangers into
friends with the push of a button… literally! I don’t
adhere to the whole “fly-on-the-wall” or “eclectic
instagram artist” style of photography. I want
those raw, laugh out loud, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it
moments.
I believe in open and honest communication, and
building long-term relationships with the people I
work with. So if you’re making a weird face in your
headshot, you can rest assured that I’ll let you know.

Taking wedding and engagement pictures is one of my absolute favorite things to do. I love capturing the
unique dynamic of each couple on film and making sure they have fun along the way! Expect a lot of laughing!

Whether you’re hosting a large-scale corporate event, product launch, fashion show or your niece’s first birthday
party, I’ll be there, ready to get the shots that will make your guests say “wow, we had a great time, look how

Working in social media management has taught me to photograph that perfect candid-but-you-knew-I-was-there
pose that every aspiring influencer wants on their feed. Whether you want to promote your new wellness blog
with a series of urban yoga pics or you just want to spice up your feed, I got your back (and all your best angles!)

SO, YOU’RE DUE FOR A NEW LINKEDIN HEADSHOT!
Let’s be honest… everyone HATES headshots. But, if your current LinkedIn profile picture is more than 3 years old,
or was taken with a phone, or on a weird background, or in an overly casual graphic tee because you forgot it was
picture day at work, then just suck it up and book a headshot session. I’m pretty good at photoshop, if anything.

I’m really lucky to have met so many amazing artists as a photographer! So, if you’re someone with a weird talent

SO, YOU HAVE OFFSPRING!
Let me just put this out there now, I love babies and kids. NOW IS THE TIME TO GET PICTURES OF THEM WHILE
THEY’RE CUTE AND COMPLIANT! Before you know it, they’ll be 13 going through their awkward rebellious phase
and calling you by your first name. At that moment, you’ll be happy to have adorable pictures of them as kids.
11. Animal
SO, YOU’VE GOT A FUR BABY!
I’m super allergic to basically every animal with fur, but I honestly can’t stay away. I love them so much.
