Campus to corporate:
The session lasts for 4 hours which includes the following:
1. Ice breaker
2. Activity no.1
3. Campus to corporate
4. Activity no. 2
5. Summary and Feedback
Ice breaker: The entire batch participates in this activity. One trainee has to introduce another
trainee who he or she is not familiar / friends with based on pointers like: name, family
background, hobbies, educational qualification and one unique thing about the fellow
participant. A generic observation that will be derived is that some trainees may be hesitant to
speak, not very confident, conscious about themselves / their appearance, mind set that
disagrees to accept anything other than education etc.
This activity not only helps in making the trainees comfortable in a new environment (here the
work place) but also while asking any queries related to the session.
Activity time: 30 mins
Activity no 1: In this activity, the batch is divided into smaller groups of 3 or 4 members
depending on the size of the batch. Each group is then asked to brain storm about various skill
sets required at different hierarchy pertaining to their industry. This is followed by a discussion
about what skill sets have the trainees come up with.
This activity helps in breaking the mind set of students about the corporate environment and
explains the difference between it and their college life.
Activity time: 1 hour
3
Campus to Corporate:
This part of the training consists of the trainer speaking to the batch about how the aims and
objectives, attitude, behavior and manners, values, skills etc change for the trainees as they
shift from their student life into the corporate world.
The session begins with the trainer sharing his / her personal experience with the candidates
about his / her college life, change noticed in the corporate world etc. This makes it easy for the
trainees to relate to what the trainer says since they are also moving out of the protective
campus environment into the corporate world.
The trainer asks questions like: How the trainees behaved in college? What did they give more
priority to? How did they write e mails? What are the skills they required in college? Were
ethics given more priority during college days? How was their performance graded in college?
The trainer then speaks on how different is the corporate world, how are you expected to
behave in the corporate environment, what are the skills required at work etc.

A generic observation that will be derived is that some trainees may be hesitant to speak, not very confident, conscious about themselves / their appearance, mind set that disagrees to accept anything other than education etc. This activity not only helps in making the trainees comfortable in a new environment (here the work place) but also while asking any queries related to the session. Activity time: 30 mins Activity no 1: In this activity, the batch is divided into smaller groups of 3 or 4 members depending on the size of the batch. Each group is then asked to brain storm about various skill sets required at different hierarchy pertaining to their industry. This is followed by a discussion about what skill sets have the trainees come up with. This activity helps in breaking the mind set of students about the corporate environment and explains the difference between it and their college life. Activity time: 1 hour
  • 3. 3 Campus to Corporate: This part of the training consists of the trainer speaking to the batch about how the aims and objectives, attitude, behavior and manners, values, skills etc change for the trainees as they shift from their student life into the corporate world. The session begins with the trainer sharing his / her personal experience with the candidates about his / her college life, change noticed in the corporate world etc. This makes it easy for the trainees to relate to what the trainer says since they are also moving out of the protective campus environment into the corporate world. The trainer asks questions like: How the trainees behaved in college? What did they give more priority to? How did they write e mails? What are the skills they required in college? Were ethics given more priority during college days? How was their performance graded in college? The trainer then speaks on how different is the corporate world, how are you expected to behave in the corporate environment, what are the skills required at work etc. T Performance A mark sheet that evaluated them in college.
